My partner is a wheelchair user. Upon arrival the reception staff offered a personal emergency evacuation plan and had all the proper forms ready. Staff offered help but also asked how they could improve, e.g. at breakfast employees offered help but also asked if my partner would have liked to have been asked upon arriving for breakfast which could be of benefit to future disabled solo travellers. Room was well laid out with power points by the bed, emergency pull cords reaching the floor and in sensible locations, and the bathroom was well laid out. Hotel management had clearly consulted with and delivered training on disability inclusion. Staff were clearly trained well and were respectful and helpful without being patronising. Led to a very comfortable and positive experience.

We received a warm welcome from Kat on Reception on arrival. The bar and restaurant areas were nice. Breakfast was good and staff were nice and helpful. The location was also good, close to the bus station and not too far from shops, bars and restaurants. We were in a family room. The room was okay but as we were on the top floor the windows were high which meant we couldn't see outside so it made the room a little claustrophobic to us but maybe just quirky to others. The windows did open so that was a plus. A few areas could be improved on the housekeeping front. Cleaning touch points and visible marks on tiles, furniture etc but in particular the carpet was really dusty and needed a good clean. You could feel this when walking barefoot on the carpet, though the white dusty areas in corners and around furniture were clearly visible on the dark carpet. The beds were comfy and the shower was great. Towels were also nice and white and fluffy. Kat on reception helped us with a personal issue and really went above and beyond to help us out which we were really grateful for. She really impressed us and is a real asset to the hotel!

Bright, spacious and really lovely interior touches like locally made fabrics. Good quality toiletries and an excellent shower. Compared to the Albert Dock conversion in Liverpool which is a similar building this is much better. Many of the small things that other hotels get wrong this that gets right - real coat hangers, windows that open, decent temperature control, no glare of appliance lights and no noisy lifts. Beautiful airy restaurant and stylish bar/lobby. And the best home made bread at breakfast. Will be back!

Spacious bar area, dining room and bedrooms - a great use of an old building👍👍 Very good dinner food - and Jamie was excellent - even when he had to come back to tell us that some dishes were not available. He was very attentive to us all in particular our host (birthday boy) including coming out to say goodbye when we left.

The breakfast was good (excellent eggs Benedict and avocado smash & great selection of teas) but a few things were missing - for example cups with saucers were not restored (plenty of cups but no saucers), no spoons to take jam/marmalade, asked for a tea pot but it never appeared, bowls for cereal ran out & took a while to be restocked, needed to stretch over foods to reach some things on the top shelf. Our group was in 4 rooms - and sadly two of the rooms were very cold when we arrived around 4:30 - it would have been nice if the heating had been activated to at least take the chill off the room.

The location, staff were mostly excellent. One staff member did not confirm my late check out and told me to contact reception in the morning. The morning team said the other colleague should have confirmed it the night before. I had a leak in my room and water was gushing in on a rainy day. Delicious breakfast, excellent room styling. Forgot to clean previous guests hair off of the chair by the table. Great snacks and beverages available. Room service good but forgot my ketchup. Overwhelmingly good.

A few things I mentioned above. Leak in room, late check out confusion, ketchup left off of room service order. Also room service card should make it clear that a time needs to be specified, I don’t stay at hotels much and assumed there was just a same time for everyone.

nice big room,209,with large shower to match. Bed was huge, super king, and very comfortable.Room had air-conditioning, but we didn't need it for our stay.Room had features from it's history ,brick arches and original roof supports remain from its days as factory/ mill. The building has been lovingly restored, now with modern features, but still keeping it's past preserved, the open plan dining room still has the original ceiling, and large windows. A very pleasant place to have our breakfast in the morning. The hotel is situated close to the city centre, Caird hall ,and many of Dundees attractions, 15 mins walk only.Staff are very friendly and chatty. Nice touch with the Beano comic in the room, this being a Dundee born classic

Dark decor ,a lot of black paint used in the room, but large windows compansate for this.

Room had a lot of character .. Had a lovely dinner and breakfast . Bed very comfortable , loved that there were plenty of sockets beside the bed . Staff were lovely , helpful and very attentive .

Room was a little too dark , arrived at 5pm , so it was hard to work out how to get more light in there , felt the hotel as a whole had a very dark feel , ambience is nice for dinner but felt leant too much on the darkness . Was lovely for breakfast in the morning . That said, im sure if we asked a member of the team to help us with the room lights they would have helped us , but we were rushing to get dinner before going out . Cannot praise them enough for how attentive they all were .

Very good welcome at the reception when checking in (by Kat). Impressive reception area and bar. very large room and large bathroom, comfortable bed. Enjoyed dinner in the Daisy Tasker restaurant. Good coffee machine in the room.

The lighting in our bedroom was very dim. The room felt a bit spartan, hard wooden floor and high ceiling. No hooks for hanging towels on or anything else. The car park is a bit small and pricey, it was full, but we got lucky as it was Saturday night, so no parking restrictions into Sunday morning, so we found a space on the road outside.

Standard room with 2 double beds is great. Great aircon unlike the Apex down the road. Lots of room to relax. Complementary Nespresso. Good restaurant. Bar area has nice atmosphere though tends to have sport on TV. Barman was great this time round (young American guy). M&S food across the road which is a bonus

Restaurant area was closed until early evening - we ended up booking the Apex hotel restaurant to be sure we had a booking but would have eaten at the Daisy Tasker if someone has been taking bookings.
