We attended at the Invercarse for a family wedding and ended up booking a last minute room (I’m pretty sure it was the last one available, so we were really lucky). I have two young children, both with dietary intolerances and one with mobility issues requiring a wheelchair. The staff in general were all lovely and helpful, and the duty manager was exceptional. She really went out of her way to be inclusive and was so accommodating of the children’s needs (and mine). Most of the time we didn’t even have to ask for assistance, she was completely on the ball. For example, she spotted that there was nothing they (or I) could eat from the wedding buffet, and she went and made us some food herself. She also personally made the room up at short notice for us, and ensured we had milk in the room which was suitable for dietary requirements. She was also present at breakfast, and again went out of her way to ensure the children got some (tasty) food that suited their dietary needs. The breakfast choices were plentiful and seemed to cover all tastes. Aside from amazing and attentive customer service, the hotel itself is a lovely building and our room (family room) was clean and comfortable, with a lovely big walk-in shower and plenty of room for the three of us. There are also ample parking facilities and if the wedding breakfast and morning breakfast are anything to go by, the restaurant does fantastic food.
I guess the only issue for us personally was the lack of accessibility. Rooms are either up a flight of stairs or on the bottom floor, which has three or four sets of three steps. If you’re a lone wheelchair user, this would obviously cause a huge issue. However, we were lucky that we were able to work around this, and I honestly think the staff will help in any way that they can with any such issue.

Everything was great! The room was comfortable, the bed was massive, and I had control of the radiator in the room. Would have loved to see a floor plan because the journey to the room was absolutely bizarre (in a great way- Shining vibes).
Not so much didn't like, but the breakfast was a little pricey for how much of it I could eat. I had dental surgery 4 days prior to my visit, so I could really only eat the egg, the beans, and the yoghurt, which I paid the full £14 for. A "light bite" option would have been great, but if I had had the full use of my face, I would have eaten £14 worth.

The hotel is beautiful as are the surrounding grounds. There was plenty of parking. Booking in was very quick and efficient. The room itself was adequate. The shower was amazing. The staff were lovely, polite and helpful. We had dinner in the hotel and it was delicious. Freshly made and the best chips hubby's had for years. (Good praise indeed.) Breakfast was fine. A queue for the toaster formed as their was one toasting machine out of order. All in all it was fine for an overnight stay which was just what we required.
Our room was on the middle floor up three flights of stairs which on hind sight was not a good idea as I have difficulty with stairs but this was the last room available. The room itself was a small double and it was exactly that...a small room with a small double bed. Hubby and I were very "snug" as neither of us are "slim & petite" The bedside table was dirty with a sticky substance on the top outside of the drawer and inside had remnants of food inside. The toilet, sink and shower were spotlessly clean but the towel rail was very dusty. There was dirt and stains on the door surround on the inside which wasn't very nice to see.

We had a wonderful family stay at [Hotel Name]. The room was spacious, providing plenty of space for everyone to relax. The convenient car park made it easy for us to come and go throughout our stay. We also enjoyed a tasty dinner at the hotel's restaurant, which offered a variety of delicious options for all ages. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience for the whole family.
At check-in, the reception staff seemed a bit cold and unwelcoming, as they struggled to locate my booking. This made the arrival experience less pleasant than expected, though the issue was eventually resolved.

I upgraded our room from a small double to an executive king and really glad I did. This room was a good size and the bed was large, really good value. The staff were all very friendly and polite, also very helpful when I had a problem trying to connect my tablet. The food was exceptional, good choice on the menu, so much so that we ate there both nights of our stay. The gardens of the hotel are beautiful and the view is so lovely looking out over the Tay. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Downside of our stay was the mattress and pillows, both were very firm which may suit some people but personally, I would prefer something a little softer as I didn't find them very comfortable.

The breakfast although all buffet is really excellent. The fruit selection was different each day as was the pastry choice. Our room was lovely, large with a comfortable bed. The staff were excellent.
We were wakened both mornings by outside noise. Firstly by two coaches collecting travellers, the second day by a wagon called Brakes who left the very loud engine running for ages. It woke us up, we both had showers, got dressed and started packing and the engine was still running. We are no spring chickens so you can imagine how long that took. Also our room was quite a distance from reception and up stairs with no lift available.

The Hotel was just perfect for us, all the staff were so friendly and professional, the hotel was very clean and well maintained, the food in the evening and at breakfast was really good, the grounds and location suited us perfectly. We will certainly recommend Invercarse to friends and will certainly return ourselves.
A very small issue was the heat in the room, the weather was very warm outside and A/C would have been a bonus, but this small thing did not affect our impression of the hotel.

Grear location, clean and spacious room (executive king)
Short story: customer service is appalling. Long story: Upon arrival late at night (tired), receptionist tried to swipe my card more than 5 times to capture the details, was eventually unsuccessful, and did not show much empathy to us by holding us there at the reception desk for a long time unnecessarily (despite us having booked and paid for fully in advance). Cleaners turned the label outside our door in an attempt not to service our room, and we had to ask them and the receptionists explicitly every single day to service our room. Vacuuming in our room was inconsistent (sometimes happening, sometimes it did not), depending on the cleaner. We went in and out of the hotel several times, and no receptionist has ever greeted us, not even once, despite us greeting them.

The setting of this place is just great, with beautiful views over the water from above. Room was large with a spacious ensuite. We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the quality food at reasonable prices. There is plenty of parking on site. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a very good also. It was very quiet outside at night.
It is a little bit out of the town centre but you probably have a car anyway so it shouldn't be an issue.

The location was easy to find. The room was modern and large enough. A big comfy bed and a decent shower. What made this stay were the staff. A warm and efficient welcome and then in the evening, we decided to use the restaurant as town is a bit of a walk away. We had very low expectations but the food was tasty and hot and well presented by a great team of young people working hard on a very busy evening. They were superb and a credit to the organisation
It’s hard to find city centre in Dundee so you need to be prepared for a longish walk or a drive into town.
