Morven House is an exceptional guest house. The hosts, Lisa & Graham make your stay so comfortable, you really do not want to leave. It’s a beautiful property with an amazing view over Carnoustie. The house is immaculate, the facilities are excellent & the whole house has such a relaxed, comfortable feel. Breakfast is a wonderful experience, great choice with local produce used by Graham. We ate in the Brae Restaurant which is within the property & operates Thurs-Sun. Wow, wow, wow ! I am Coeliac & enjoyed the best meal I have had in years. What a terrific Chef Graham is 👏👏👏👏👏 I cannot recommend the Morven House highly enough. Our only regret is that we do not live closer but we will definitely be back. Thank you Lisa & Graham for such a lovely experience.

I am sure that most people come to Carnoustie for the golf and I was no exception. As I opened my door I could see the course from my room which was awesome. Lisa was very accommodating with an earlier check in and her hospitality is second to none. The room was gorgeous and the beds we super comfortable. The room was generous and the water pressure was excellent. Morven Guest House is the perfect location no matter what the reason. It would make a fantastic romantic get away or stay and play all the courses in the region. Our breakfast in the morning was exceptional and Lisa was always willing to help or just have a chat about the local area. Hopefully we get another chance to stay here again.

An excellent guest house in a great location, with great views (it's on a secluded site on a hill above the town, facing seawards). Comfortable bed (it's surprising how often they aren't!); friendly, engaging and professional owners and staff, and both the evening meal and the cooked breakfast were pretty much done to perfection. Best overnight stay I've had in this area for many years. Thank you!

Hard to see how this could have been any better, really.

What a great location! The owner is absolutely friendly, the house was refurbished and is a stylish B&B in a quiet neighbourhood with a view over the town. The room was wonderful - big enough for 2 persons, clean, with comfortable beds. The breakfast is great - you can choose between single parts of scottish breakfast, porridge, cereals and fresh seasonal fruits. I higly recommend this location!

The property was first class in every way. Spotlessly clean, excellent breakfast and all staff were friendly and super efficient . Could not fault anything about our stay. The breakfast was very good and we had diner on one of our nights which we thoroughly enjoyed. The food was of a very high standard and I would definitely recommend any visitors to have diner there.

An imposing house that makes you feel like you're in a Charlotte Brontë novel. Beautiful, clean, fragrant with a great touch of history and tastefully furnished at the same time. The owner's personal approach was amazing, she guides you through the house and explains everything. Perfect privacy and friendly people. Breakfast was a gastronomic treat. Fantastic.

Very nice, super clean, big and quiet room.. We have an option to chose what we would like to have for a breakfast. We were cruzing around Scotland and stayed here only one night which was a valuable stay. I would return if it happens again that I will be around the place. Ah, I should not forget that the lady host was extremly firendly. Go for it.

It was excellent, well above what we expected, in fact on our second day we went for toast and cereal, that was enough, the portions were bigger than expected. 11 out of 10.😊

Location was excellent and Lisa had a great welcome and was always available to offer good advice on sight seeing and dining . We booked a room with a view over Carnoustie and were not disappointed - lovely to overlook the whole town and onto the golf course in the distance . Breakfast was lovely , pre-ordered from the evening before with a great choice on the menu - all in all a fantastic stay

This place is WOW. You drive up the circular path and see this beautiful house. Lisa was waiting for us when we arrived and showed us our room. WOW it was beautiful with views to garden, sea and overlooked village. Walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Beautiful tree lined streets. The bed was the comfiest we have slept on, the linen was so soft and towels fluffy. All important to me and says alot about the caring host and the experience she wants to give to people staying. Breakfast is a bonus. We only had one night but wished we could stay longer. It was the best stay!
