A wonderful place for an ideal vacation. Peace, comfort, very pleasant and attentive staff. My husband and I visited the spacious spa area. The saunas are really hot and good. The only thing missing in the spa area was some relaxing music to relax, because the pool relaxation area is also cozy, so lying there would be completely relaxing, because emotional relaxation is very important and high-quality. I really liked the breakfast, it's perfect when you can choose from the menu yourself, everything is very tasty. Perfect breakfast view of the golf course with players. Wonderful place by the sea, you can walk a lot. We really liked it, best recommendations for others.

The overall experience. Great atmosphere. Very comfortable large room. Worth the extra. Bed and pillows are great. Facilities great .. Location excellent. Views from room .. the best.. Breakfast very good. Menu good. Specials very good. The chicken dish could be reviewed. As mash poor. And veg so so. The rest of the menu we tried was good. Would love to come back. A good venue for a family get together. Dog friendly And children friendly too..

Beautiful place Staff great, manager left sweets in our room for our anniversary Restaurant is not cheep but food was absolutely top notch. This is not a complaint quality is always worth a premium and restaurants of higher quality rarely live up to the bill, but both my meal and my wife’s were perfect. Compliments to chef

Couple of younger bar staff chatting amongst themselves whilst staff all pleasant, I expect to be the first spoken too not second to a chat going on between barmaids. 2 of the bar men where absolutely first class and the cocktail the chatty barmaid actually made my wife she said was one of nicest she’s ever had.

If anyone values reviews - read this one - When was the last time you stayed at a hotel and the following happened: I was staying here as part of a multi-day multi-mile cycling trip. As I was leaving breakfast, one of the staff ran after me and said "I noticed you came down for breakfast in your flip-flops ... and I saw the blisters you have on both of your heels ... here, would these plasters / bandages help your blisters ? (and they were really good high-quality plasters) So, c'mon on ... when was the last time you stayed at a hotel with staff that attentive, well-equipped, action-oriented, kind and clearly so obviously enjoy being Good ? High praise all around. I say Thank you and both my heels say Mucho Thank you !

The location at the golf course is amazing You can also do some putting for free which was super nice Restaurant and terrace were great In general would stay again because of location and golf

Hotel can definitely use some updating The double beds were extremely small even for the standards in Scotland We received an accessible room which was additionally inconvenient. If you don´t really need this type of room, better ask for a standard. The personal was quite indifferent and not accommodating.

Lunch when we arrived was extremely tasty. Spa experience was amazing, massage was excellent. All the spa facilities were on the money. Spa experience package was excellent value for money (£107 per person for 2 course lunch and massage + 1 treatment). Dinner was fantastic, tasty and excellent value. Would definitely return! Didn't play golf on this visit but have previously played the championship course which is top notch.

Rooms were very spacious and clean/tidy with excellent bed and coffee machine. Only thing to improve was that room was quite dated.

On arrival the hotel was clean and nice and warm. The staff were amazing, so polite and helpful. Our room was upgraded to a Junior Suite and wow it was beautiful. View was amazing overlooking the golf course. The room temperature was perfect. Perfect water pressure in shower with plenty hot water. Bed was so spacious and very comfortable. Tea/Coffee facilities offered a great choice. On the occasion of our Ruby Wedding the hotel left a beautiful worded greeting card together with a tray of chocolate selection. Very personalised and very kind. The restaurant lay out was perfect. Tables have view and lovely and bright within the dining area. Great choice of breakfast to suit everyone and so very clean and organised. Staff were helpful and extremely efficient. The leisure facilities were so very clean and very well laid out. Easy access from hotel rooms and plenty clean towels. Steam room,Sauna and Jacuzzi were all used and enjoyed very much. We have made Special Memories and will most certainly return. One of the Televisions in our room had intermittent reception however, this only appeared to be in a morning. Evening was fine.

Stunning location right on the sea. Spa facilities were lovely, and the view onto the golf course at sun set from the pool lounger were just gorgeous. Staff were fantastic and very welcoming. Very clean throughout.

Menu in hotel restaurant was a bit disappointing they had a few dishes but it was mainly Pizza and Burgers, that said from what we saw of staff bringing food out to diners these things did look and smell nice if that’s what you like to eat. A few nice places to eat in area so we didn’t go hungry and it certainly wouldn’t put us off visiting again .

Breakfast was very good staff were excellent couldn’t fault the service The room was well maintained and spotlessly clean and serviced each day

Service in the dining was very poor during dinner if you were sat in the area at the start of the restaurant service was quite poor it was noticeable that the area from the middle to the end of the restaurant was where staff congregated and service appeared very good In saying that service at breakfast was exellent

We booked a superior golf view room which overlooked the course and leader board during the Dunhill cup so excellent view! Spacious bright room, comfortable large bed and very quiet so slept peacefully. Good sized walk in shower. All staff were excellent and plentiful. Enjoyed lunch and evening drinks in the bar and restaurant. Excellent cooked breakfast and served quickly by very attentive staff. Good selection of choices on both lunch and breakfast menus we sampled.

TV in our room had no signal so we had to move rooms after unpacking and showering. (Expected these basics to be checked before booking people into rooms). Struggled to get hot water out of coffee machine- would prefer a kettle for non coffee drinkers but they don't have any. However both were attended to and resolved by two very helpful staff members immediately.
