Staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Bed was comfortable and ensuite facilities adequate - good hot shower. Considering the overnight rate, it was value for money. The restaurant food was excellent and the chef went out of his way to cater to what I might like. I had a little issue with a bright light and the staff rectified it for me. I was most grateful.

The hotel is looking tired which is fine (value for money) but they need to give it a good scrub and take the rubbish away that greets you when you pull up in your car. Their is rubbish lying against the back of the hotel and in car park against the shed. An old hotel does not have to be a shabby hotel.

THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND ENOUGH TOWELS FOR A. SINGLE PERSON .A BIT OF A SQUESE GETTING INTO SHOWER BUT I MANNAGED.WATER IN SHOWER WAS HOT ALWAYS A BONUS. ONLY WOULD HAVE LIKED A BISCUIT WITH MY CUP TEA/COFEE. DID NOT RELIZE UNTIL AFTER I BOOKED THERE WAS NO BREAKFAST SERVICE BUT I SURVIVED. IT PAYS TO READ SMALL PRINT. FOOF IN RESTURANT WAS OF INDIAN CUSINE AND ALSO CATERED IF YOU DID NOT LIKE INDIAN FOOD. I ENJOYED IN WHAT I ATE

Straightforward checking in/out, all staff in the hotel and restaurant were very nice, helpful and good service

The hotel room could do with a lamp to relax in the evenings. The mattress was okay but not amazingly comfortable, and some of the milk pots by the kettle weren't very fresh. And the sea view wasn't as good as advertised.

The staff was very friendly, and the location is not bad. It only takes 10-15 minutes by bus to reach the city centre. However, I highly recommend downloading the Dundee City Taxis app if you are in a rush and not really used to the surroundings. The area is very calm and the place overall was nice.

The only observation I could make is the fact that there is no staff on the premises during the night. In the future, if possible, I would probably invest into one member of staff being there overnight, to ensure safety and security.

I like the property, garden needs a little tidy up but it is a great space. It is only a 5min drive from the city but near to bus routes. It is in a fabulous area. You can walk to the city very easily and leave car in car park.

Location was good as it was far enough out of to be quieter and give us a good walk in and out of Dundee. Spacious and comfortable. We didn’t eat there.

It took 3 remote controls to get the tv to work! They generally work with a remote that matches the make of the tv, which we were eventually given on the second night. Then everything was great.

Excellent value for money. Food V.G. Location good. This was a find. If you love good quality Indian quine this is the place for you. Parking space if a car traveller. I was travelling bus, good service.

A bit noisy when the cleaning of an ajoining room, in the evening. Would have been good to have been informed that was the case for the intrustive noise. But this did not happen for lomg, and the staff made resectful apologies.

The bed was very comfortable and the evening restaurant was excellent. The staff were all friendly and the room was clean.

The room was advertised as having a sea view and though you could see the water, there were two big cranes in the way (see photo). The shower didn't drain properly and breakfast (though very good) didn't start until 9am. We were a little way out of town, about 35 minutes walk in.

The bedroom was really big, very clean, nice big shower, nice view from window and bed very comfortable. Staff very friendly. Rated only as "pleasant" from the reviews but the room and the overall experience far exceeded this! I would stay here again!

A little slow when checking in because there was nobody around to check us in but didn't mind too much. Only one person seemed to be running everything. When asked what was the wifi the staff didn't know and needed to ask management which again was very slow because only one person knew which was the manager but he was busy and on the phone so I didn't end up getting the password and did without.

Very nice staff. Very clean and quiet room. Comfortable bed and a nice shower. Simple check in and self check out. It was a pleasant stay and really was all I needed for a quick stay in Dundee.

The fridge was a bit too loud for me to sleep through.
