The location is perfect, close to the centre and opposite the harbour. The facade of the hotel may not look very chique, however the rooms are very nice. We had a 'superior studio' and it was very big and comfortable, with everything you need for self-catering. The view over the bay and onto the Cies islands is very nice. The ferry to the islands is across the street, which is very handy. Don't forget to request an authorisation online to visit the island before booking the ticket.
To park the car in the garage, you need to be careful, as there is not a lot of room to manoeuvre. However, this is a minor problem if you manage to stay calm and just look where you're going .

Very large very comfortable bed. Sofa bed in living area was comfy too. Room was a good size for a family of 3 including a teenager for a couple of nights. We appreciated the contrast between the somewhat grim exterior of the hotel and the clean, modern room with a lovely bathroom and fantastic sea view. Perfect for the Cies Island ferry - it’s so close to the terminal you can practically fall out of bed onto the ferry!
The sea view apartment is a large open plan room that’s been partitioned and there’s no door between the bedroom and the living area so there’s no privacy when the sofa bed in the living area is in use. The kitchen is adequate for a short stay but only just - we had to eat our breakfast cereal out of mugs as the only crockery provided was plates!

The location is very good, the rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. Though it's not new it is very clean and we stayed in a renovated floor. It is usually fully booked with families specially in summer due to the location. Nice breakfast.
The staff is friendly but not exceptional. The garage is too tight and small for the capacity of the hotel. We've asked for a cot ,that was not confirmed at the reservation but when we arrived they said there was one left that never arrived for apparently was not available. Being a family hotel, there should be more cots available or at least do not create expectations...

This hotel has been the biggest pleasant surprise out of the 20-30 hotels we have stayed in over the past year. We chose it for the location (overlooking the river, but adjacent to the old town) and were slightly startled on arrival to see that it was quite an ugly high rise with some works going on in reception (late June'25). However, the check-in/receptionist could not have been better or more helpful and the rooms are a delight: enormous, spotlessly clean and with magnificent views. We could easily have extended our stay there and will no doubt return next year.
Only the initial impression of the high rise block and minor works to reception (probably completed by now). Everything else was perfect.

The view in the right rooms is incredible. The location is perfect just a short walk to many great food places. The bed was so comfortable, and they even give you melatonin jellies to help you enjoy your sleep. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and reasonably well equipped. The hotel looks like something out of a movie from the 80s on the outside, but the room was really lovely. The hotel is certain floors, with locals living on the other ones - we had some pretty funny interactions with the neighbours that we enjoyed, as you share the lift. A lively bar is opposite, with music and outdoor dancing, but it doesn't stay open that late - you do hear a bit of noise from it though, but we played couldn't hear it that much. The windows also open, so you could enjoy a bit of breeze if you wanted too. We also really liked the flow design of the space.
We asked to change rooms and the hotel were quick to accomodate us. Although booking for a sea view room, we were given a top floor room where we could see the water if we stood at the bedroom window and looked out the around the corner. We were re-roomed after asking, two floors down but the view was absolutely spectacular - it really made the holiday something special - day and night it was incredible.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the eight floor at the front and we had an excellent view over the harbour and over to Cangas. ( I would have been very disappointed had we had a room at the back of the hotel). The room and bathroom were spacious although slightly dated but very comfortable and warm and had everything that we needed. The underground car park ( payable) was a plus although it was a tight squeeze. Breakfast was decent and ample and the breakfast room overlooked the sea. Breakfast staff were very attentive and soon replenished any items that were getting low. It was very easy to access the town from the hotel and the ferries over to Cangas and Isles de Cies were directly opposite. The latter was not running with it being winter. We were in Vigo to see the Christmas lights and for that the hotel was ideally situated. There is a commercial centre and also a small supermarket just over the road.
The outside of the hotel is very uninviting and so much so that we were very tempted to drive straight on by but thankfully things improved considerably once we were inside. The decor in our room was slightly dated but I think that the hotel is undergoing a period of transition judging by some of the photos in the hotel itself.

The location is perfect, and the ocean view room is beautiful. Surprisingly, for a long-established four-star hotel, there's no extra charge for pets! I highly recommend this hotel so pet friendly! The room was spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent! The mini-fridge worked perfectly, and the staff was friendly. The hotel uses a traditional credit card guarantee system, with automatic debits upon checkout.
The room cards often expired, which was a bit inconvenient.

This is quite a smart hotel overlooking the harbour with a fantastic view of the estuary and the hills beyond. It is a steep climb to the town proper but there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity. We booked a junior-suite (basically two adjoining double rooms ) It was comfortable. the bed was excellent and all in all it was a good room with a view and not overly expensive. The hotel has no bar or restaurant (which surprised us) and the place felt a bit soulless. Breakfast was plentiful and not bad value for 12 euros. There is onsite parking which was helpful. Check-in was quick and easy. Staff were excellent.
It is a pity there is no bar area. place felt a bit soulless.

Well, I'm going to be a bit biased here, I got a very nice upgrade for free, and got an apartment with ocean view, which was just plain amazing. Other than that, everything was really good, apartment seemed to be newly renovated, so all appliances were very new, and the bed was super comfortable (actually we should have asked the brand, because now we want to replace ours with that one). Location also was great, ocean view, right in front the place where people get the boats to the islands.
The shower was area leaking water, which didn't bothered me, but I guess that will cause problems to them later on if not fixed. I guess it's a sealing issue on the glass.

Special thanks to the great people working at the reception, especially Ms Renata - she was amazing, always smiling face, giving many advices about Vigo, travelling. We would like to also thank to the hotel for taking care of our luggage for 1 week, when we were walking to Santiago de Compostela. Great hotel because of great people working there! :)
That there was no tomato and cucumber for breakfast. We understand that in Spain you don't like fresh vegetables for breakfast, but this was the only tiny thing which was missing. Except this everything was great! :)
