Friendly staff, check-in was smooth and both the bar and restaurant staff were helpful and lovely. In particular on our first night we weren’t aware the kitchen shut at 8:30pm - we had spent so long enjoying the sunset outside with our drinks that we only went in for dinner at 8:45pm but they generously still served us without a fuss. The location is great, not too hard to get to with a car and located close to all the sights we wanted to see. There was a nice short walk we did straight from the hotel to a beautiful lookout, and the hotel itself is surrounded by beautiful mountain views all round. The outdoor area is lovely with seats and tables to enjoy a good book with a drink from the bar. We loved being able to enjoy a sit outside before dinner, watching the sun set over the mountains. Food was great, with a good breakfast included. Facilities are clean, modern and were perfect for our short stay. Our building had an elevator which was great too. Can’t believe this only has a 7.5 star rating! Do yourself a favour and stay here if you can!

Only drawback is that the wifi could be better - you have to sign up to a public/data-sharing network which doesn’t have great reception, but we had no issues with our 4G reception so not a big deal for us.

Location, people! When you travel to Dolomites, the most important thing is location. 1. The hotel is only 20minutes drive to Tre Cime parking toll station! We arrived around 6am and there were still 130 spaces left. How nice! No worry about parking space or waiting line. 2. Avoid heavy traffic in and out of Cortina. Big plus! 3. Quick drive to Lake Misurina, Lake Landro, Lake Braies. You can enjoy the lakes in the morning, noon, or afternoon. The hotel offers wonderful beds, which we had the most comfortable sleep. The breakfast coffee was perfect. The staffs are friendly and nice. They prepared a lunch box for us when we had to skip breakfast one day.

Good location, close to the Tre Cime di Lavaredo and plenty of other hiking tracks. Super kind and caring staff from the reception to the restaurant. Room large and clean with perfectly working heating (not as I read from other reviewers). breakfast excellent with choice of coffee/cappuccino/etc..

Restaurant was ok, a bit bland; this said we visited several restaurants during this stay and none was outstanding (same precooked pasta for tourists); Internet doesn't always work and to be accessed via a cumbersome setup

The location is perfect if you want to hike around the area. There is a cow field right next to the hotel that bring much joy and just gives the right mountain feeling (also, they don't stink). The hotel itself is standard, nothing special but very clean and comfy, our bathroom was spacious. We booked breakfast and dinner during our stay, the food portion is huge, great after a long hike day and they change the menu every night. Taste is standard, staff is very nice and accommodating. Water is included but alcoholic drinks are extra. They have a good selection of wine for a very affordable price. Breakfast is standard, good amount of choices and lots of fruits.

The wifi is limited and not stable. They really need to improve on this. They can also improve by providing a kettle in the room.

Hotel with perfect location, surrounded by Monte Cristalo, Croda Rosa and Rocca de Baranci! Super nice and helpful staff. Had planned 2 days there, but stayed 4 instead. I will be back for sure!

Location was amazing. We were able to reach all our points of interest quickly. There is a good restaurant inside the hotel. Rooms are simple and very well kept. It has all you need to rest well after the day of hiking. Friendly staff that advised us on routes and we were able to pick up our breakfast for to go as we wanted to start the morning very early. Definitely we will be coming back!

This was one of our 2nd favourite place. Although it is a bit out of the way and there really isnt much around, it is a prime area to do popular tourist destinations. I especially liked the large breakfast buffet, the bar service they have running until 11pm, the game area and the lawn chairs, chairs/parasols you can use to take in a little sun or have a drink with friends. The rooms comes equipped with a tv, its own washroom. It seems pretty basic given the price, but the facilities make up for it.

Service was excellent. Loved the staff! They went out of their way to help us. The front desk staff took quite some time explaining the main attractions around the hotel and how to get there. He also provided a map. My husband had a sore foot and every night the opened the bar to give us ice to soak his foot. I am so very touched by all the help. The diners at the restaurant were amazing!!! Fantastic chef. Excellent wait staff. Always on top of each table. Thank you Hotel Croda Rosa!!!

Super friendly & helpful staff, gave directions to non tourist sites of Sorapis. Great central location to many highlights of the Dolomites without the hassle of crowds, beauty of meadows and pine forrest surrounding the property of previous Florentine elite. Close to bike trails a bonus.

Modest facilities may be a drawback but perfect for those wanting decent & clean room to rest before and after long hikes and bike rides. Nothing fancy, just good value for money.

Located in the woods, close to lots of popular places. Cows all around, you hear their bells all daytime, but not disturbing at all. Nice shaped building, not one of those romantic flower-balconed ones, so common around there. Thick walls, no disturbing noises (2nd floor). Furniture of simple style, but good quality, looks like new. Comfortable beds. Bathroom is clean and functional. Regular cleanup service. Friendly staff at the reception and in the restaurant. We have always asked for take-away breakfast, it was almost enough for the daily trip. For dinner you can chose one first and one second course, salads and dessert are self served. Simple kind of meals, but really tasty, and not expensive for the region. The guests seemed to come here for trekking, biking, etc. there were no parties at night. Next time I come around, this will be my choice again.

Wi-fi is ok for emergency, but not much more. A fridge and some glasses in the rooms would come handy.
