The apartment is very new, clean and comfortable. They have two washers and one dryer on the ground floor to use anytime for free. Parking is easy and a lot of spaces. In the kitchen, they provided a starter packet with dishwasher pods, dish detergent, cleaning sponge and cloth. They also provided olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Ida met us for check in and gave us a lot of information especially gave us advice which day to visit Tre Cime according to the weather. In my opinion, Misurina is a better location than Cortina. We can see Tre Cime from our balcony everyday! Parking is easy and free everywhere. pretty big super market in such a small town. If we come back to visit this part of Dolomites, we will definitely stay here.

Location (the views, the number of walks available immediately from the property, and even having a bus stop just outside the door - to travel further afield without need to worry about parking) 2. communication with the owner (whose English was excellent), and the fantastic breakfast baskets she provided to order: so generous we could get two meals out of them each day, whether for packed lunches or for an evening snack (eg if we had a good lunch out in the mountains).

Just 25 minutes away from the the main ski lifts - The view is just stunning, the interior is fantastic. The amenities leave you fully covered. And above all, the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Will definitely come back next year.

Clean apartment, very modern, in a great location, very friendly staff

The only downside to the apartment was the lack of basic amenities in the kitchen. I think that for this price the apartment should be equipped with hand soap, salt, dishwashing liquid, sponges, or at least dishwasher pods, because buying a whole pack of dishwasher pods, a kilogram of salt and a large dishwashing liquid for a 3-day stay is inconvenient

Loved this eco friendly chalet. Design was very comfortable. Very clean. Ida went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She was very pleasant and friendly. She provided us with lots of information when we arrived. The breakfast was delicious - great variety. Beautiful location looking out on Lake Misurina. Close to trails.

Had some difficulty figuring out how to get the towel warmer to work. Eventually sorted this out.

The chalet is beautiful, and thoughtfully designed for a perfect family stay. The rooms feature natural wood and light organic materials. Each room and bathroom is spacious and has a lot of light. It’s fully equipped with everything you need from kitchen to washer and dryer - essential if you’re traveling with a baby. The team at the chalet is exceptionally helpful. They gave us the best tips for ensuring we make the most out of our hikes, took care of every little need, it felt like we were staying with our family. Ida was especially wonderful, can’t thank her enough for all the support and just being such a lovely and radiant person. The location here is phenomenal if you’re looking to do the Tre Cime loop as well as enjoy the spectacular views of Dolomiti right from your window. Booking this chalet was by far the best decision I’ve made on this whole European trip.

Everything was perfect

EVERYTHING about Chalet Alpenrose, Misurina, and Ida (the host) exceeded our expectations. Simply put, this place was WORTH IT on so many levels. We mixed up our travel dates, and Ida *offered* to adjust our booking for no extra charge. She gave us fantastic recommendations for hikes that were appropriate for three (distinct) hiking levels among our trio of travelers plus great suggestions for food, how to buy stamps, etc. And, we got lucky with Misurina, like wow. It was so tranquil, affordable, and simple to navigate compared to many of the charming-yet-intense places we've traveled through in Italy (we've been to Italy twice now). Truly, Misurina felt like home in the best ways (we're from a mountainous, somewhat rural region in North America), and Ida's hospitality and recommendations played a major role. Beyond what I've already noted, the apartment was GREAT for a couple and additional adult (one older parent) - plenty of room to spread out, truly amazing views, and gorgeous, Scandanavian-esque simple design. Every day, Ida brought us a basket with all sorts of things for breakfast, including fresh eggs we could cook to our taste, fresh meats and cheese, warm bread and croissants, and more. Also, having a hot water kettle and a dishwasher were *so* welcome after almost 2 weeks of travel in hotels. There are also nice, free laundry facilities on-site, and Ida helped us navigate the multi-lingual machines and get the right detergent (we did not initially buy the right stuff on our own!). And, there's a handy drying rack in the room, as well as lots of storage space. Ida also let us have a later check-out time so that we could go on one last, half-day hike into a wilderness area nearby before leaving. I'm probably forgetting things, but the short story is: if you can, skip Cortina and head for Chalet Alpenrose.

First of all, the most important thing is the people behind the hotel - Ida was so welcoming and friendly! When we arrived she explained it all! what to do, when, how to get there, everything! Misurina Lake is like a base area where you can travel and see so many beauties in a short driving distance, and Ida was there to explain it all! The room was huge and clean, designed beautifully with amazing lake view. Overall, this place is a MUST visit!

There is nothing to don't like in this amazing place!

A new, clean, and beautiful accommodation with a room of a perfect size and a very spacious balcony. It is fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. The location is right next to Lake Misurina, with restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The staff is very helpful, providing great information and recommendations for various places to visit.

The chalet appeared to be newly refurbished,it was clean, comfortable & pleasant. It is positioned next to Lake Misurina in a picturesque location. Our apartment had a lovely view of the mountains. Ida (the Manager) was friendly and helpful. We thought it was excellent value for money and would definitely recommend.

There isn’t very much in Misurina in terms of restaurants/ shops. You definitely need a car.
