The place was easy to find. Small room, but very clean. Good comfortable bed & pillows and white, clean bedding. Nice hot shower with wide shower head. Refrigerator worked once you turned the thermostat on. Air conditioner worked fine. Breakfast was simple - cereal, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee/tea etc.

I wish whoever prepared the room would check to be sure all the lights are plugged in (they weren't) and that the TV/Cable was properly plugged in (It wasn't.) Once we scrambled around to find plugs, the lights worked. We never called to get the TV hooked up since we really weren't in the room that long, but it would have been nice to turn on. Would have liked to see hard boiled eggs, or some protein, offered at breakfast, which was otherwise quite nice.

Had a lovely stay at this roadside motel. Proprietor Joseph was very helpful. Rooms were perfectly adequate, clean, and comfortable. The grounds were lovely. It was wonderful listening to the brook outside as we slept. Still too chilly for the pool, but the location was beautiful. Wonderful breakfast.

My bed was a little hard, but I tend to prefer soft mattresses.

The room was very comfortable, lovely sound of a waterfall outside. It was not on a busy highway. The breakfast had multiple options, fruit bagels toast, yogurt and was a bright cheery breakfast room.

No complaints from me, I would come back here for another trip to see the Vermont fall festivals or the (Williams College) Art Gallery a short distance away with the reputed Renoir (?)collection.

Great location, good price, clean, breakfast included, and the manager was a good guy and receptive to our needs.

If you’re reading this then you’re looking for reasonable pet friendly accommodations in the Berkshires. My wife and I love our weekend jaunts and know what to look for when booking a room, and we couldn’t have been happier. Originally booked for June, we had to postpone our stay due to a last minute scheduling conflict and chose instead to stay the week of our wedding, sort of a mini honeymoon. This was fortunate because the place fell under new management shortly before our stay. Manager Joe Gerardi is a very new broom and GREAT guy. We loved listening to his ideas for improvements. One morning we awoke to find that he had a fire ring installed out back. When he learned we were newlyweds he went out of his way to make our stay more like a honeymoon, even cooking us dinner one night (for real…wine too.) Good cook…turns out this ain’t his first rodeo. Between Joe and the other guests milling around at breakfast it was nice to be in such cheerful company and worth staying an extra night- hey, you only get married twice.

Management was very friendly. The hotel itself is a cozy old building. Just what I was looking for. The room was clean and well kept and the beds were comfortable.

Good location and fine breakfast. Pleasant breakfast room.

Physical plant needs upgrading.
