The room was very nice with a balcony and very spacious. Breakfast was good except the last day they moved everything so that was a little odd but still good. The payment process was a bit of a disaster as the hotel charged a different rate than bookings then had a hard time trying to figure out how to split the bill. It took 3 tries to straighten out the bill and it was still wrong in the end. But the hotel and jacuzzi were great. Signage could be better...

The moving of the breakfast and the layout of the hotel with small signs

The outdoor hot tub and indoor Roman bath were lovely. We couldn't arrive until after 8 p.m., but luckily, the bar/restaurant was still open and pretty busy. We were able to sit down and have a great meal before going up to the room for the night. The beds are always comfy and the rooms are very clean.

There was no parking near our room so we had to park on the front side of the building, because of this, we had a very hard time finding our room. Which was very frustrating. Luckily, a man who happened to work for Meadowmere walked by and was able to give us good directions to the room. We were hoping to visit the pub on Sunday and enjoy some football with some wings and cocktails, but they had closed the pub for the season. We hope the pub can be open regularly and maybe someday offer room service. It was rather noisy near our room throughout our stay.

The resort was very clean and all of the facilities were up and running. The staff was very helpful and resolved any issues that we had. We requested a room on the first floor near the front desk and was offered to us right away.

The only negative thing was the cost of breakfast that was always included in resort fee. Also, there wasn’t a continental breakfast offered which we were very disappointed in. We are seniors on a fixed budget and we understood why the resort fees went up but thought the breakfast should have been included. We had to go off the premise every morning for a light breakfast.

The Meadowmere Resort is beautiful and in a great location. You can walk to the Ogunquit Playhouse and is very close to downtown shopping and eating. The facility is quite luxurious.

My only complaint was there was no breakfast or even light snacks available. There is a restaurant on the property but nothing was free. They did offer coffee but a cookie served in the afternoon would have been great! Other places I've been to that were as grand as this offered both continental breakfast and pastries in the afternoon. It is just a nice touch and says "Welcome"

We reserved a double room with two double beds. The hotel webpage showed five photographs of a room of the type. The room actually assigned us looked considerably smaller than the photographed room , partly because of the photographic techniques but also because the assigned room was actually somewhat smaller than the photographed room, which had a higher ceiling. Although the photographs had a footnote that the actual room may be different, the size difference was far from negligible and somewhat disappointing.

I liked that they had both indoor and out door hot tubs and that they were separate from the pool. It was nice to luxuriate in the spa tub with out the louder activities from the pool nearby. It was nice that they had a restaurant on site. They also had amenities like a small game room and theater, which are definitely something fun to do on the property if you're done sight seeing for the day but still want something fun to get up to. The beds were really comfortable. I opted for a jacuzzi sweet and it didn’t disappoint. It was a rather modern tub with room for two if your feeling a bit romantic, and the shower in the bathroom was also very spacious. The fridge actually worked as apposed to some mini fridges that keep food tepid as best. We put a bottle of sparkling grape juice in there and it was well chilled when we finally drank it

There was nothing about the hotel itself I didn’t like. The only part of my trip I didn’t like was some loud, rambunctious children showing up while I was swimming and driving me out of the pool, but that is absolutely not the hotels fault. So there was nothing I didn’t like

The outdoor pool was nice The Roman spa was hot and I like that the sliders can open Beds comfortable I like that they have the movie room it is also a relatively easy walk to the beach/ downtown area

The breakfast buffet could be better , there wasnt much to choose from and the food was cold The front desk staff could have been a little more welcoming - especially when asking for information If I were to stay again I would ask for a room further away from the front desk It was loud people going back and forth

We liked the location because everything we wanted to do was in walking distance: The Marginal Way, The Ogunquit Playhouse, Perkins Cove, downtown Ogunquit, etc. Our room was spacious and clean - important factors! We enjoyed the outdoor pool as well. The front desk staff was exceptional.

The a/c unit seems to need service as it couldn't keep the room as cool as we wanted. Or perhaps that's because it was a room on the top floor? It wasn't a big concern to us but could impact guests staying in the warmer summer months.

I love the location and all the amenities of the hotel. Used to come here all the time with my husband and we loved it. He passed away a few years ago and I haven’t been back until this past week when I brought all my girlfriends up and we had an awesome time!!

The apartment that we stayed in did smell a little musty. Not sure if the carpets need to be cleaned or if there is something wet in there, but it did have a smell to it. Otherwise, everything was great.
