The breakfast was good because there was plenty to eat , a good variety and everything was left without restriction so it felt like home. The friendly greeting when I arrived and the wonderfully generous help was very refreshing and personal. The location was very rural but conducive to being able to relax. For me it was close to my place of work. My name on the board outside was a lovely touch that I have not seen before. After the day of travel it made me feel so welcome.”Thank you!

A welcome pack of cereal, croissant, milk, orange juice whole grain bread. The whole place was immaculate it felt like a spa retreat, Definitely visit again. I visited saffron Walden gardens Which was 20 minutes away. Which was beautiful.

Very comfortable. Owner was helpful with a special request. Kitchen was reasonably well equipped. Breakfast options were simple but perfectly adequate (good coffee option). We enjoyed being able to get outside for a walk. Location was perfect for our family history search.
Google Maps directions are not great - better to ignore them and just follow those from the accommodation.

Great rural location - less than an hour from Cambridge and just over an hour to the coast. Great stay, comfortable and clean. Ready to make breakfast items were perfect- plenty of choice of cereals and bread/ croissants with fresh milk and orange juice each day. The Red Lion pub in Great Sampford is definitely worth a visit- the food was delicious. Also the nice walk down the road and round the byway by the fields was a great evening stroll. Thanks for a lovely stay.
It was all great.

Owner very friendly and welcoming property was spotlessly clean, all facilities supplied just need to pack a toothbrush and clothes. Lovely comfortable bed. It is off the beaten track but surrounded by beautiful countryside, easy to find location with sat nav. Will definitely be back. Also very helpful local taxi firm recommended by host.
Nothing to dislike.

The accommodation was clean, well presented and equipped. The setting is very peaceful and relaxing. We only stayed one night for a wedding. We were able to arrive early to suit the timing we needed to get to the ceremony and Emma recommended a taxi firm who were excellent. Would love to return for a longer break and explore the area.
Nothing really.

What a great last minute find. We loved our stay, the owner was wonderful, the location was idyllic, serene, and perfect for switching off. Went to the local village for dinner which was so lovely. Would recommend and we will be visiting again.
A proper living room space. Felt like a sofa in a living room but would still choose it again

Paradise in the countryside. Lovely accommodation in converted stables. Great find for last minute short stay. Awesome hosts who really welcomed us and made our stay. Dinner and sightseeing recommendations were great. Really wish we could have stayed longer.
Nothing. It was perfect.

The room was cool even though there was no AC, the fan in the room was sufficient. It was a cosy room with everything we needed in the peaceful countryside. Would definitely stay again!
Airplanes flying overhead every few minutes but that can't really be helped.
