Carl and Joan are very friendly and accommodating host. They respond really well and find solution to our requests. The apartment is clean, comfortable and cozy. All amenities like bedding, towels, pillows for 3 people are available. There are also water sports activities directly by the lake.I will highly recommend to stay here when you visit Gosfield.

Lovely place, easy to find and close to where we were attending a function. Clean and comfortable. Ideal for our one night stay. Had amenities for coffee tea etc and cereal if you wanted it. Hosts were kind enough to leave some milk as well. The view out to the lake are beautiful.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Only one issue - smoke alarm went off 3 times during the first night, very odd and didn't make for a good nights sleep. Mentioned this to one of the staff the next day, and by the time I got back that day they had replaced it wit a new one, so second night seep was lovely.

This was the perfect location for the Gosfield Backyard Ultra. Easy to find, clean and bright. The owner and other staff on the site were very helpful. Milk, tea, coffee and cereal provided. Also access to an electric car charger.

It was right on the route through to the caravan area and next to the washing up facility so there weee always people walking past or playing outside.

The annexe was a really good size, the shower was great, and it was plenty warm enough. We were attending a wedding at Gosfield Hall and it was a short walk away which made for the perfect location as we were able to walk back as well after the wedding. The view was outstanding, absolutely loved being able to see the lake from where we were. Had a great chat with those down at the shack by the lake and got breakfast both days as well from there - lots of vegetarian options too if needed, and good prices. They were more than accommodating about things we needed - like an iron/ironing board which they left out for us ready. Couldn't fault how clean it was.

The wifi wasn't the strongest - which is OK if you're looking for a retreat/getaway but a bit more tricky if you're planning to work or anything that needs a stronger connection. Walls are very thin, not an issue as we had respectful neighbours but something to be conscious of yourself if you're booking.

The setting, overlooking the lake, is lovely. It was pretty quiet while we were there, but it’s easy to see why it would be a popular place to stay. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. The cabin was very comfortable. We would definitely consider returning.

The food in the (separate) restaurant was nothing special but it’s not the only option.

Beautiful location and the accommodation was very nice. Everything was provided to make tea and coffee. There were small boxes of cereal too. The places to eat were closed when I visited but I went to Yvonne's cafe down the road with plenty of choice on the menu including breakfast.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like. I couldn't get an Internet connection but that didn't matter too much for only one night. The wall heater was a little noisy but it didn't affect a comfortable night's sleep.

Great place to stay was greeted by the owner outside who was extremely friendly. Great view over the lake. The room was very clean and tidy. 10 minute walk to Gosfield Hall. Overall it was a great stay. Will be going back.

Could hear guests in next room quite clearly. Parking bays needed as we arrived after the guests next door and they had parked across our space

Absolutely everything. My partner and I rented out both the annexes for us and his parents as we were attending a wedding at Gosfield Hall which is only a 3 minute drive. It was lovely that we could open up the adjoing doors between the annexes during the day and then close them off so we all had our privacy at night. The view of the lake was beautiful. The host greeted us kindly and the snack bar across the grass had a great selection of yummy tummy fillers.
