The property was idyllic, the attention to detail in the interiors with furniture and art gives it a stunning eclectic finish. Whilst still respecting the Portuguese history. Staff were friendly and very obliging , the owner went out of his way to make sure we felt welcome. Gardens were beautiful as were our individual patios . Breakfast was an absolute treat , once again highlighting all things Portuguese and using local produce from the gardens or from their stores . A unique haven in Portugal loved our stay. Our group all stayed here together and it was perfect

Nothing everything was perfect

The guesthouse is a beautiful, architecturally designed converted farm house with lovely private rooms and garden. The style is rustic chic, with very tasteful decor and feels very homely. I loved the vases with flowers and cuttings from the garden, the lovely scented toiletries and fragrance spray in our room, the charming vintage furniture, cutlery and crockery. The rooms are large beautifully styled. Breakfast each morning was lovely with a delicious assortment of foods, perhaps a little heavy on the bread/sweet items. We were there to relax so spent the day by the pool and explored the surrounding towns in the afternoon in our car.

It’s a very intimate guest house rather than a hotel, so we heard the chatter of the staff all day which at times was pretty loud. The honesty bar is great but pricey considering you’re making it yourself. The mosquitoes were out so some in room repellent would have been great.

Hospedaria was the most incredible stay we have ever had. The architecture and design were spectacular. Every inch of the place is photo-worthy. Our room was gorgeous and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and fancy. We even had dinner by the fire one night which was so beautiful, relaxing, private and delicious. The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and personal. Only problem is we will never like a place as much as Hospedaria. Other hotels will pale in comparison.

The property is beautiful! It’s close to charming towns like Tavira and beach towns like Fabrica. The rooms are spacious and beautifully maintained with vintage furnitures. The staff is friendly. Francisco offered many tips around the area. Breakfast is included. I also had dinner during my first night and it was delicious. I will be coming back the next time I’m in Portugal!

The property had so much natural charm. Nothing felt forced or out of place. The accommodations and everything you needed for a pleasant stay. Even with the property being close to the beach I highly recommend spending an afternoon at the pool, surrounded by fruit and olive trees. Pure bliss.

Beautiful stay, very authentic and comfortable. Every little detail is great. The dinner option was great and breakfast was very good as well. The hosts were very helpful, the property was very clean. I would highly recommend this place if you are planning to visit Algarve.

Very attractive interiors and exterior with nice pool, lovely breakfasts, quiet surroundings but quite accessible by car. Quiet room. Pleasant staff.

Food options during the day/night were limited until the hotel filled up on our final day there. Quality of the food was fine but breakfast choice’s repetitive.

The Hospedaria is a lovely, quiet and peaceful place near to the great Algarve beaches and Tavira, but away from any crowd and mass tourism. We liked the spacious and stylish rooms - each of the five with its own terrace - and many hidden places to sit and relax in the house or the beautiful garden. The day starts with a great breakfast with fresh fruits, eggs, joghurt with granola, cake, toasted bread, cheese and fresh juice & coffee. Awesome is a Dinner for two at the old Fireplace or with the other guests at the long wooden table. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

WiFi could be a little bit better, but it works! Besides this, if you do not need TV and entertainment, it a great place!

Look and feel and comfort of the rooms. Small, cosy and relaxing stay.

For longer stays, breakfast needs improving. Becomes very repetitive otherwise. Tea, coffee and water in the room are not complimentary.

Situated a bit off from the Algarve mass tourism, but still close to good beaches and restaurants. Very spacious rooms with classy interior. Beautiful private courts and nice pool area. Excellent breakfast and very good service.

No negative point at all. If you like small hotels, this is probably the best in this region.
