This resort was at a great location, walking distance to stores, bike rentals, and so much more. The staff at the hotel were so nice, other than the servers at the Tiki Hut. The server acted like she didn’t want to serve us and it wasn’t busy the hour we went - 3pm. The pool was nice and its beachfront. There is a walkway toward the beach with swings, chairs, bathrooms, splash pad, and changing areas that was so nice. Allys coffee was great! Overall the stay was great other than the restaurants at the resort. We would go again.

The restaurant, The Porch and the Tiki Hut, wasn’t worth the money. The drinks weren’t good for adults or kids (my kids didn’t even touch their frozen drinks after they tried it) nor was the food worth it. The shrimp was popcorn shrimp from Walmart. We spent over $80 on nothing (appetizer 4 frozen drinks). We had to go to a local restaurant in town (which was worth it). The room we had was attached to another room so it wasn’t comfortable. But other than this, it was great. We would book there again.

Breakfast was amazing, we got the complimentary coupon. I also requested a late checkout. I received a Complimentary 1 hour late checkout. The guy at the check in counter was so helpful and very kind. After we checkout out , I asked if we could stay at the pool for a little while longer. He said I can do better than that, y’all can stay all day. Your parking pass is for today, you just had to check out of your room. I told him that he had just made my day . I highly recommended the Beach House Resort.

The interior blue wallpaper and the doors to the rooms were scratched up chipped nicked and made them look very old , dirty and ugly. The blue interior wallpaper did not go with the beautiful elevator theme and the front entrance lobby. The lobby and the elevators with the shiplap is more elegant. The walls of the hallways with the blue wallpaper Just made me think it came from a cheap motel. But other than that I we enjoyed everything about the resort. I highly recommend it can’t wait to go back.

It was our 26th anniversary and we happened to luck out with the perfect room on the 5th floor overlooking the ocean and the tiki hut where we could experience the nightly bands.

The maid service seemed a little unreliable. We would try to leave every morning and stay gone until noon or so and still would either not receive room service (exchange of towels, trash service) or they would arrive when we would arrive mid afternoon when we would come back to freshen up. Not totally a big deal but then the maid waited on us outside our room on day of checkout waiting for us to leave.

We specifically booked this hotel because of the Tiki Hut. Great ocean front bar/outdoor restaurant with live bands performing all day. We wanted that vibe.

When I am at the beach I like to get a room with a balcony where I can sit and look at the beach/ocean. They have rooms on the first floor with big outdoor patios where you can sit, but because they are on the first floor and behind the Tiki Hut, you don't have the ocean view. So I specifically chose an upper floor ocean view. The room did have sliding glass doors that open, however the "balcony" was so narrow that there is only room to stand. Not even enough room for a chair to sit on. So beware, you can't really enjoy your "balcony".

Location...beach access, tiki hut, Restaurant, brunch, access to shopping within walking distance. Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Fun atmosphere. Nice pool and umbrellas were abundant. Overall very nice!!!! Keep hiring those staff with great personalities!!!

Parking....had to park along driveway behind parked cars because there was not enough parking for their guests and was stressful for us to have our car not parked properly worrying us to possible accidents. Bathroom needed help...too small!!!

Incredible live music every night at the Tiki bar. Great service and REALLY fast food service. Breakfast at the Porch was good and good service at the Tiki on the beach. Servers and Staff were great, you get the feel of an all-inclusive resort in Mexico, but you are right in the heart of Hilton head Island.

Tiki drinks were poured very light - need to check on that especially for the prices. Rooms were loud, the door provided almost no noise isolation. The real issue is people being super loud and letting kids or teen yell and run down the hall late at night. But bring a sound machine, ear plugs and its all good. The A/C in our room would stop running at night and get very hot, then I would get up and it would get cold after changing by one degree.

They have done an excellent job with the exterior renovations over the past year. The TikiHut and pool areas are well done. The rooms make the most of the space that is available. The staff were pleasant and quick in their work. The location is as good as it gets on Hilton Head Island. It was nice having a view of the ocean from our 5th floor north side room.

The interior renovations aren't on par with the exterior renovations. Still feels like an old beach hotel walking down the long spartan hallways. We also had a constantly running toilet which we resolved manually when we wanted quiet time.

The staff was amazing! The location of this hotel is the best on the island! Right on the beach with a huge pool as well! Didn't make it to the tiki bar but it is also beautiful!

I have just one suggestion...we rented a cabana by the pool and the food was fabulous! The furniture needs to be cleaned more as my grand boys had spider bites which i noticed came from underneath the furniture. So that said, the furniture needs to be cleaned more often! Other than that, we had a lovely stay! Thank you and we will be back!

Nice place, could use some up dating , the rooms were pleasant, A bit pricey but your paying for the convenience.We only stayed over night so I can't be very fair in my review. The bathroom was a little small but the shower was good and the rain water shower head was nice . There was no ice machine on the fifth floor so I had to travel down a floor. We had a-beach front room ,the view is fair but your seeing a lot of roof top from the building in front. The band music stopped at a reasonable hour-so it didn't disturb our sleep

bath room was small. and crowded. We had difficulty getting the heat to work. The night we stayed was cold

Excellent Location, right on the beach. Very nice remodeled pool area and Tiki Hut since our last visit. Very relaxing atmosphere overall. Excellent food and beverage experience at The Porch. Doug is a wonderful bartender. On the day we arrived, he encouraged my wife and I to sit at a specific table for dinner as they are donating a percentage of sales to breast cancer research for October. This is an older property that they've recently invested money in the amenities instead of the rooms. Room was clean and comfortable, overall, but could use some freshening up from an appearance standpoint. This property is also within close walking distance of Coligny Plaza which has lots of shops and restaurants. This is our 2nd time staying here and we'll be back.

Limited luggage carts for check in and check out. My wife and I had to carry all our luggage to our room on arrival. When it was time to leave our neighbor on the 5th floor had already stashed the one standard luggage cart outside their room so I had to use a float style cart which caused extra trips. The service at the pool was lackluster. On our first day the server was too busy drinking his daiquiri hiding behind the towel container than attending to our order. The second day I didn't even see an attendant at the pool. The Tiki Hut service was interesting. The first day I had to walk up to a bartender to get table service after 15 minutes of being ignored. Our second experience was much better with a very attentive server.
