I been bangkok three times and thonglor is my favorite part to stay in! The location is superb. Otherwise staff super nice, rooms good, amazing view.

As for what i didnt like at ascott and that is why i give it 8 starts and not 10bstars is the issue that they had renovation of pool at the time of our stay. Usually hotels let the customers know upfront that this is happening. While ascott didnt inform us before but rather they did at arrival! That is not appropriate, you lost a bit of my trust here. The small thing was also they forget about welcoming drink for my group.

The property was very modern with a gorgeous spacious lobby area - staff couldn’t have been more welcome or friendlier but the same could be said for Thai people in general - we had a fantastic time in Bangkok and coming back to the hotel after being in the city heat was perfect - the views on the 35th floor with all the sky scrappers was a highlight and the pool was also really special.

Everything was perfect - I wouldn’t have changed anything about the hotel

I initially booked for a day, but everything was so good that I extended my stay for 3 weeks. From the very moment I arrived I was treated really nicely by the staff (Bibi, Tong, Bobo, Bird, Pipe, Job), they help you with everything you need and at any hour of the day and night. The room was really nice and in good condition, I had my own kitchen and washing machine, bathroom really big, good hot water and shower pressure, very good internet, everything was perfect, I'm booking again now for May and I'm only going to be staying there every time I'm in Bangkok from now on.

Great hotel. The room was perfect. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. Gym was ok for hotel gym. It was far away from Siam area but so long as you know where your booking you'll be fine

The bar downstairs tried to charge my partner full price for two drinks during the 'happy hour' buy 1 get 1 free time. I had to go over to remind the staff but they were quick to apologize

Location was perfect very close to the BTS, hotel was clean and the perfect blend of hotel & apartment with a small kitchen & washing machine in the room. This was ideal for our trip as we spent the week training at a local cross fit gym so wanted access to a proper fridge, cooking facilities and a washing machine to wash clothes. The breakfast in the restaurant was the perfect way to start the day and the room was cleaned every single day with fresh linen and towels. It was the perfect modern clean base to explore the city.

We loved everything about the Ascott Thonglor Bangkok! From initial helpful emails to a gracious greeting upon arrival, to the friendliness of staff, the service is top notch. It's a beautiful, quiet hotel, despite being close to restaurants, other hotels, and busy streets. The sky train is steps away and there are plenty of local shops and food stands as well as more upscale places. The view from our room and the 11th floor pool was spectacular. Akthough we did not eat at the Japanese restaurant on premises, the room service food from it was delicious. We will definitely look for other hotels under this brand's umbrella - we were very happy with Citadines in Tokyo as well.

A more extensive room service menu would be nice but delivery through GRAB was convenient and easy.

Stayed here after a two year absence. Some of the teething issues I experienced when the property had just opened were clearly addressed and the experience this time was perfect. Newer, clean, professional service, excellent location.

The Ascott team were incredibly professional and friendly. All our needs were attended to. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is a 3-5 minute walk to Thong Lo Station so it's really convenient with plenty of food and drink options around. I will definitely stay at Ascott again when I'm in Bangkok again.

Our stay at Ascott Thonglor completely exceeded our expectations! We only wish we could’ve stayed longer. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the party and shopping scene. You’re surrounded by an endless choice of coffee shops, shopping malls, restaurants, speakeasies, and rooftop bars—everything you need is just steps away. The room was absolutely ginormous! There was so much space that we could open all our luggage at once without feeling cramped. Plus, the view from the room was breathtaking—definitely a highlight. The swimming pool is stunning, and we spent a lot of time enjoying it. The staff were incredibly helpful, even lending us a weighing scale (which was so heavy!). The food at the hotel was amazing, and the gym had magnificent views of the city, making workouts more enjoyable. We truly had an unforgettable stay and can’t wait to come back! It has a quaint and elegant environment. There were many facilities that we could utilise. The swimming pool provided some swimming equipment such as floats and noodle float. There is also a bar which serves drinks near the pool which we could chill and unwind during happy hour.

The breakfast was pretty hectic. There was only one man minding the egg station so you have to queue up to get eggs of your liking. However, most of us are just going after thr scrambled eggs. This could be easily be done by serving the scrambled eggs in one of thr buffet trays. Or else the poor staff had to juggle with all sorts of eggs order which be a mayhem situation!
