I loved the location - so easy to walk everywhere and the swimming pools were awesome! Great to cool off after all of that walking! Fantastic cheese and wine happy hour and lovely friendly staff.

The breakfast was okay but could've been better. Some fresh fruit would've been nice (even just a banana) as the fruits served were tinned. I was appalled at the amount of waste at breakfast. Why not use actual cutlery, plates, cups, etc rather than single use plastic? It's an awesome hotel but I hate that so much waste would've gone into landfill. This needs to be improved upon.

Room very quiet. Water pressure in shower great. Pool/hot tub nice. Staff courteous and helpful w local information. Great location. Good wine and cheese happy hour. Free daily bottled water was much appreciated. Adults only environment great.

Window air conditioner lacking. Breakfast was lacking. Waffles/breads/bagels/toast/yogurt was OK but breakfast lacked protein. Staff not always present at the front desk and long wait for service.

I dislike booking.com they state they have a price match guarantee but they don't stand by it this room was $50 cheaper per night the day we went to check in. Book with the inn itself

Nice quiet location, excellent rooms, good breakfast selection and happy hour is a nice touch. Lovely pools and nice atmosphere.

Staff are not welcoming, walk around very indifferent, not friendly or engaging, often speaking their own language. Housekeepers were very noisy in the morning whilst unloading their equipment. No consideration for sleeping guests or anyone relaxing by the pool. It sometimes felt like you were eating in the staff canteen as they would often come in during breakfast to get food and drinks and then disappear into a back room. Such a shame as this is a great property and one of the best we have stayed in. This is our 7th visit to KW now. But this shouldn't put you off staying here and I hope my comments will be taken on board. Its an easy fix...

Great location and a nice, "kind of private", pool and courtyard. The room had a good size refrigerator. The provided breakfast was good. The private balcony was nice. The courtyard / pool had Iguanas, lizards, and birds that kept you amused. There was a Happy Hour with wine and cheese that was a nice surprise. The location is awesome. Rent a scooter and get anywhere on the island quickly.

Room was a little small, and no closet. We made it work. The room had a window shaker AC unit, that seemed like it was working pretty hard to keep the room cool. The staff was helpful, but sometimes you felt like you were intrupting them. Like all places in Key West: You may find a nicer place to stay but you will not pay more. I thought maybe this place was a part of the Southernmost Resort, which is a very nice place, but I found no connection. I was hoping to use some of their amenities. This was just a misconception on my part.

Very laid back and comfortable. The pool areas were nice. The free happy hour and breakfast was a nice touch. Good coffee. These amenities were nice because we didn't know where to go for these things and would have had to move our car otherwise.

The website lead us to believe there was onsite parking including in our room cost which was not true. Now actually that's how we interpreted it. Upon re-reading it we "assumed", so it wasn't so much shady it more or a way to "hide" the fee until you had no other option but to pay the parking fee for off-site slightly inconvenient parking.

The use of single use plastic at breakfast is disgraceful. Such a waste & no recycling. Environmentally negligent Reception staff are helpful but lack personality & are not very welcoming. Like their job is a chore & they go through the motions but don't want to be there I asked to check out at noon ,& housekeeping knocked on my door 3 times before then. Shows lack of communication between reception & staff

Overall, a good hotel and positive experience. The hotel is clean, has two (small) pools, offers a hotel-style breakfast and happy hour with wine, cheese and crackers, and nut mix. The staff is, for the most part friendly and helpful. The location is 1/2 block from Duval St - we parked our car when we arrived and did not access it again until we left four days later.

The downside is that the facility was built in 1886. The rooms can be very small. We had a queen room which was very small with a small bathroom. The number of available electrical outlets were limited and there are no USB outlets. We actually had to move the bed to access free outlets. Since we only used the hotel as a base of operations, and the weather was nice, we did not spend much time in the room, so the cramped quarters were only an issue when we were preparing to go out. NOTE: There are Iguanas that come out by the pool in the afternoon. Please do not feed them - it can cause them to become aggressive.

The location was convenient to Duval Street - and just a 5 minute walk to the Southernmost Point. The happy hour consisted of wine, cheese and crackers and beer was available for purchase. Breakfast was available between 8am and 10 am and included a wide variety of options. Our room was clean and had a small kitchenette, so for those who may be staying a little longer, a request for this room may be a good option. (Our room was right on United, so we experienced some of the street noise. That room may not work for light sleepers.) Our check-in experience was amazing, thanks to Maria! She greeted us with a smile and great hospitality.

Room darkening shades or blinds might be nice since the main windows are right on United Street.
