The cost for 2 queen bed exceeded our expectations. The mattress seemed alright however it took time to reflate when changing to another position. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast area was good. I am not a breakfast cereal person and missed protein. I do realize that our room cost was on the low side so would not fault the breakfast, I’d go elsewhere for my meal. Also liked the parking close to the hotel and easy access to elevator.

A better mattress , light switch on interior of the bathroom. A better shower curtain.

Great value for money. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Despite some previous comments regarding the location, I found it safe and convenient to walk to the pubs and restaurants in the center of Medicine Hat. The breakfast was simple but for the price of the room, having a complimentary breakfast was definitely a plus.

The behavior of one of the employees towards her colleague upon check in made me uncomfortable. Very bossy and unfriendly.

We adore the Villa! In its day, this would have been a real beauty. She's older now, more experienced, but still worth the trip. We found it clean, safe, and the breakfast was simple but good enough. There was a couple of cold cereals to choose from, as well as oranges, toast and a waffle maker.

We nearly didn't arrive in time to make the 10 pm cutoff but we did. Just be aware of it. The location is downtown in an older area.

As a solo travelling female I can’t help but be extra cautious and also paranoid about staying in a hotel alone. I checked in late at about 11:30pm and nothing made me feel unsafe. The area seemed good enough and the hotel itself seemed safe aswell. The staff were AMAZING! I had to reschedule my reservation to be a night earlier and the person on the phone was so kind in making that accommodation. Then after I checked in I got a call shortly after from the person at front desk who noticed the interior lights in my car were left on. THANK YOU because a dead battery would have driven me mad. Also the price was really great especially as a uni student!

almost everything. I got a great online price. The location was ideal for me, and even had the downtown bus terminal less than a block away. i also very much enjoyed the community kit hen so i could cook a meal, and the common sitting area.

There was very little light in the room at night. There was a table lamp, so it was sufficient, but the only other lights were the bathroom and a small overhead light just in front of the door.

What a wonderful surprise this little hotel was! The cutest little building in downtown Medicine Hat - and at such a reasonable price! We couldn't believe it. The staff were terrific, helpful and kind to two weary travelers. Thank you so much; we will definitely stay there again.

I did not give the maximum marks for cleanliness but only because the hotel was being renovated. The hotel WAS clean, I'm certainly not complaining. We could clearly see that they were doing work on it and so, we understood completely.

Nice secure hotel managed by lovely people. Room was clean and comfortable, perfectly adequate especially at the price. It may be cheap but it is not a budget hotel. Even provide a little breakfast included. Parking at rear in own car park, although space might become limited if the hotel is full, or near to.

Not in a central location, although not an issue for me as just needed an overnight stopover.

We have stayed here twice, both times we found it clean and comfortable! Our room included breakfast. There was a small selection of dry cereal and a pancake maker, or toast, your choice. Location is close to amazing restaurants such as the Local, and Sammy's.

Nothing we didn't like. Some people might be concerned about the church nearby that operates a soup kitchen for the homeless. However we were never harassed, never panhandled, those who were waiting were quiet and kept to themselves. Nothing to worry about as far as we were concerned.
