The staff were very friendly and helpful, so we felt welcome. The room was superb. It was a decent size and had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. We were particularly impressed with the large mirror and the fact that there were two chairs. We didn't have breakfast so we can't comment on that.
We had a meal in the 1900 bar. The food was OK but ordinary pub-type grub so perhaps a bit overpriced? The service was terrible. We waited a long time for our mains but an absolute age for pudding. No doubt the restaurant would have been better. In the end we had to ask whether we had been forgotten and the barman said the system broke down because he hadn't told the kitchen that he had cleared the main course - so they thought we didn't want our pudding!! The tables weren't wiped down between diners so were sticky.

We stayed here for a conference and absolutely loved it. The conference room was spacious, bright, and comfortable, creating the perfect setting for the event. Staff service was excellent, and the food was outstanding; both lunch and the following day’s breakfast were delicious. Breakfast, in particular, was a highlight, with so many choices and every dish tasting fantastic. Our bedroom was lovely, featuring modern décor and a well-equipped bathroom. The double bed was a bit small for two people, but we managed just fine. Overall, a great experience from start to finish.
All was great - very happy with our stay!

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Edgbaston Park Hotel recently in preparation for my wedding, and I cannot recommend this place highly enough. From the moment I made the initial enquiry, everything about the experience was exceptional and a huge part of that was thanks to the incredible support from Shane, the hotel manager. Shane went above and beyond to ensure I had a room secured for such an important occasion. His professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine kindness made all the difference during what can be a very stressful time. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated and willing to help with such attention to detail — his support really stood out. The hotel itself is stunning a perfect blend of elegance and modern comfort, with immaculate rooms, peaceful surroundings, and friendly staff throughout. The setting is ideal, especially for wedding guests or anyone wanting a refined, relaxing stay close to the city but surrounded by the charm of Edgbaston. Thank you again to the entire team, and especially to Shane, for making our experience so smooth and memorable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Edgbaston Park Hotel to anyone for a wedding, a weekend away, or just a touch of luxury.

We really enjoyed our stay. We found the rooms to be nicely decorated, spacious and clean. The beds were really comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. No noise was experienced despite two weddings going on..The shower was nice, good supply of hot water always available. There were ironing facilities in the room, which I didn't use, but might be useful to know. Variety of teas and coffee available as well as omplimentary water in the room. We ate in the bar area and found the food and drinks to be quite nice.
On arrival we were told that our room wasn't ready and that the 2pm check in on Fridays displayed on their website needed to be amended. I explained that's why I booked this hotel so we could check in at that time as we had somewhere to be. The lady seemed a bit displeased when I asked to speak to the manager. When the Manager came out, she sorted this out right away, and we went straight to the room.

Lovely environment and beautiful green surroundings. I was attending a hospital appointment, and was anxious about that, so it was lovely to stay somewhere calm and tranquil, compared to previous hotels in the city centre. Restaurant staff were attentive and amusing, and the food was also great - very tasty gluten free menu! :)
It was hard to find the hotel on foot from University train station, even using Google - uni campuses are a nightmare to navigate, especially when they have removed all the maps. So some better signage (eg from Pritchatt's Rd) would be good. Otherwise all good, thank you!

Great location,very modern,very clean & nice room
Very odd in the restaurant for dinner, our puddings had a 1/4 scoop on,i asked for more ice cream & told there would be a charge, waitress checked with chef,2 ramekins were given to us & a portion had been split between 2 & we were charged for one scoop, the icecream we paid for 1 scoop between us 🤔was actually bigger than what was served on our puddings, very strange & for the prices they are charging surely a scoop of icecream should be included, waitress informed us that the portions on puddings are lacking,it stopped us eating in the restaurant for breakfast & dinner for the rest of stay🤷🏼♀️

The location, level of decor and standard of furniture, fittings, the level of lighting exceeded beyond excellence. General services provided were superb. Tea, coffee making facilities were superb and premium tea, coffee and drinking water ( provided in eco friendly recyclable containers) were supplied. a seat and beds were really comfortable. Cooked breakfast option seemed to be of the "greasy spoon " type of offering so was skipped. Dinner offerings need to be taken a lot more upscale and charged accordingly. Perhaps then the dining facilities could be promoted to a wider clientele beyond hotel guests and their visitors Excellent choice of channels on the TV in the room.
The offer at the reataurant. Needs to be charged more and a more premium level of eaing options offered.

I recently stayed at Edgbaston Park Hotel & Conference Centre and was thoroughly impressed. The room was immaculate, featuring modern decor and all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring every aspect of my visit was enjoyable. The hotel’s location is perfect—nestled in a peaceful area yet conveniently close to Birmingham city centre. Breakfast offered a delightful variety of options, and the complimentary parking was a significant plus. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a blend of comfort, convenience, and top-notch service.

As always, great staff, room size, quality of breakfast. Quiet rooms and excellent air conditioning.
In executive rooms, the coffee tabs are not great, please go back to providing coffee in a mug or cafetiere! Rooms could do with a lick of paint where suitcases etc have damaged walls, it doesn't take long and upholstery in the bar needs stain removal! When an event is on, such as a wedding, parking for hotel guests should have a reserved area, as being told to park on the first floor of the car park and pay when free parking is included is not really acceptable.

First time staying here and it won't be the last, Angela and Maureen on the desk are the most welcoming, pleasant and helpful people ever, as a disabled person I found they instantly understood I needed a bit of help to get all my luggage from the car into the hotel, my room was near to the entrance which was an absolute result as I can't walk far, my friend and I had two Chihuahuas with us which were going to Crufts the following day from arrival and they were welcomed just as much as we were, The room was super clean and comfortable, the cleaner does a superb job of keeping the room immaculate, Had a meal in the restaurant the first night staying and there is a good choice of food on offer at a reasonable price, We had a bar meal the following night and again a great selection on offer at a good price, the staff in the restaurant and the bar were most helpful and provided excellent service, All in all a very good experience at this hotel and will certainly book it again for Crufts 26, would recommend to all.
I have nothing negative to say.
