Our normal hotel fully booked, reviews suggested this to be a worthy option. A great welcome and escorted to the room. Room of good size, loads of storage, airy and v comfortable. Interactive TV and strong WiFi a bonus. Sustainable bathroom products. Easy walk into the town with loads of eat/drink options. Breakfast is served in the bld next door.

Could see the building but took a while to find the right vehicle entrance amongst a number of other barriered options, small signage; parking filled up v quickly. Breakfast - the food was great but the service was appalling, appeared to be students. Asked for coffee, waitress took cup away (as machine not accessible to diners) and never came back. Only 4 tables occupied so not busy, waited 10 mins, nothing, tried flagging her but studiously ignored; we left as coffee making was available back in the room. Disappointing end to the stay. Will avoid.

It was in a quiet location. Had a kettle in the room as well as water and a small fridge. Although the place was out of town it was easily accessible via a bus. The bed was extremely comfortable. They have a locked bike shed. The staff were excellent. Breakfast buffet was super. I didn’t get chance to try dinner as it was fully booked. Big windows which open for ventilation and thankfully, light-excluding curtains.

It’s quite a walk to breakfast! Not a fan of coffee machines but some people like them. Would have preferred sachets of coffee as there’s a kettle available. I’m being picky - there’s nothing I didn’t like.

About 30 min walk from the city center (a bus line is also an option). The room was nice and clean, industrial style interior design. A comfy bed, breakfast a la carte gives a feeling of a real restaurant experience. We liked the fact that the hotel was run by the students of the hotel school, extra polite and obviously well-taught. A prior dinner reservation at the hotel restaurant is required (a nice menu for a more than a reasonable price). Therefore we couldn't dine there on the evening of arrival, which is understandable.

Toiletries are all in the form of little bars. Good for the environment, but a bit difficult to use (too small and falling from the hands). We couldn't find a hair dryer, which, as we found during the check-out, is stored somewhere in a drawer in the room. A note about it in the bathroom would have been handy.

Breakfast was good.you got a tray with smoothies cheese,ham and fresh bread.followrd by croissants and jam.also had a choice of cooked breakfasts.very good and attentive service.dinner choices weren't as good and the fishneeded cooking more to crisp the batter.

The room is run by modern technologies which only work when they are switched on.had to send for assistance as couldn't find the plug for the coffee maker.the light switches were so difficult to work and again needed help to switch off.small things which can easily be remedied.

Room was good. Staff were exceptional, very helpful and polite, couldn't do enough for us. Dinner was fantastic in the restaurant - best dinner whilst in Holland!

Everything was good. If I had to pick one thing I would pick that getting into car park could have been simpler, maybe the registration could be recorded for barrier to lift automatically for clients staying for more than one night

the hotel is run but the studenten of the hotel University of Applied sciences of Leeuwarden and I can tell you they know more about customer care and being attentive that what you see in other hotels. They are very nice and professional. the rooms are modern and eco friendly. great hotel.

it is a little far from downtown. luckily you have a great restaurant close by. also run by the students. you can dine there lovely, so no need to go to town.

Comfortable, large, quiet room with a/c. The restaurant, great breakfast and excellent evening meal. No à la carte available but staff did everything to attend to our needs.

The restaurant is located in adjoining building requiring a walk outside from the hotel. Pleased it wasn't raining during our stay. Bedoom lighting control took some understanding.

Modern Rooms with inviting interior and an really nice shower. The personal are students so there might be some waiting or slight confusion from time to time but nothing competes with their friendliness and willingness to make everything possible. I have visited many hotels and this has for sure some of the most ambitious staff you‘ll find. Everything is really nice and the restaurant is nothing short but amazing.

This hotel is connected with the university, so students work there and serve you while breakfast. The Interieur is fashionable, the staff is friendly , breakfast is tasty. By the way, breakfast is available till 11, that’s amazing for those who like sleeping longer. Rooms are clean and good looking. I like everything about this hotel and 100% recommend it !

The lighting controls in the room were far too complex. 6 mystery unlabelled black buttons. And an option to control it via the TV. And an option to use an app We would have preferred a straightforward switch that "just worked" to the over complex system they used.
