An excellent well located hotel just a few minutes walk from both the centre and all the restaurants and cafes around the port, with the bonus of parkland (and a birds and animal park almost on the doorstep). All staff were very welcoming and very friendly. Room was well designed, spacious with excellent facilities including kettle for hot drinks and fridge for milk or other cold drinks. Bottled water per person each and every day (not just one welcome bottle). Great variety of items for breakfast, one of the best spreads I've seen in years of staying in hotels. Varieties of cheese and cold meat, bacon, eggs, beans. Several types of bread, pain au Chocolat, doughnuts, about 15 (yes fifteen) different jams/confitures and marmalade, two hot drinks machines for coffee, decaf, hot chocolate, milk and water for tea and selection of leaf-teas (eg breakfast, early grey, gunpowder/green tea etc).

An initial misunderstanding about the provision of gluten free products (not just the hotel, but a widespread issue that France needs to catch up on as there is a commercial benefit to hotels and restaurants making very small changes to menu ingredients AND stating what are the allergens in each menu choice). But the hotel quickly addressed this by day 2 to provide savoury bread in addition to the sweet bread/cake to make the stay both safe and enjoyable.

Lovely hotel with spa facilities. Nice pictures of the park on the walls in the rooms. Fabulous power shower. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely. There was room service for snacks which was a bonus. There were USB charge points right by the bedside which is great. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Was definitely 4 star. I would return here.

There was not much to dislike. The breakfast was an additional charge to the stay. I usually go for hotels with breakfast included. However it was a nice breakfast in a pleasant breakfast room. Well monitored and maintained by friendly staff who were attentive. I enjoyed it. The hotel is situated slightly outside the vielle port. However, the walks in either direction, via the animal park and beach or through the rambling park were both lovely walks. It was pleasant and relaxing. The vielle port is a beautiful medieval port with stunning sunsets. Fabulous!

The staff are very helpful and courteous. The location is excellent for the beach and old town. The area has plenty of restaurants and bars nearby but far enough away so the hotel is quiet. The park next door is lovely and it's nice to see the animals. The rooms are quiet comfortable and clean, its nice to have a fridge and kettle in the room. The AC was a must for this visit as the temperature was very high. We think the drink instead of room cleaning is a great idea.

Nothing. We didn't take breakfast so I can't comment on that. Nor used the spa.

This comfortable, modern hotel is well located within walking distance of La Rochelle's lovely Old Town. The facilities were nice, spot on, clear, and comfortable. The staff was quite nice, a real departure from the cold welcome one often receives in France. We didn't have breakfast (we preferred a croissant and café crème overlooking the harbor), and we didn't try the "spa," so we cannot judge these facilities.

Parking was a little bit difficult to find and navigate and should be free in my opinion, though the cost was not excessive. The price was decent, but not a real "value."

10 mins walk to port. Small animal park (foc)across the road from hotel and the beach is on the other side of this park only 10 mins. Hotel spotless cleaned daily with fresh towels. Kettle in room was great. The staff were top class. Airport only 15 mins away. Would stay there again. There is no bar or restaurant here but they do breakfast here and also they deliver to your room..😎

Nothing all good

This hotel exceeded our expectations, especially for a city hotel. The location is fantastic sat next to a lovely cool park with many walks. The walk into the town and harbour is very easy about 10 minutes, so perfect to walk into the harbour area to eat, take boat trips, stroll around and also visit the beautiful cathedral. The room was cool, although high window not very light. The staff were very friendly, we were able to unload our car from a parking space outside the hotel and straight into the lift which was handy. We then had to find the hotel secure parking which is located behind the hotel, but you can walk to and from once parked, through the park. There is CCTV in the secure car park. The Hotel has a very good coffee machine in the lobby where you can help yourself to free coffee which was most appreciated.

The car park was not at the hotel, although perfectly okay once we had found it the first time and our car was safe. The lack of light in our bedroom because of high up window

Fantastic Stay in a Great Location!** I recently stayed at this hotel and had an excellent experience. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the surrounding area and access local attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with modern amenities that made my stay even more enjoyable. I was also impressed by the convenience of the on-site parking, which made it stress-free to bring my car. Overall, the hotel provided great value, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on my next visit!

The parking felt a little bit more than 250 meters. Spa was lovely but thought 25 eur was a bit steep for what you got.

Our room was large and airy, with a walk-in shower in the en suite. Plenty of space for clothes, and comfortable seating too. A safe and fridge were also provided in the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke very good English. The location was good, about 8 minutes walk to the harbour front and restaurants.

The hotel was good, friendly & welcoming staff. Location is super, just a short 5-8min walk from the harbour area. The room was very nice, modern style and had a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was big and had a good shower. Breakfast was impressive, many options & high quality food. Parking was located 3min walk away. We liked the hotel & can definitely recommend a stay.
