So much to love, from the welcome pickup service by friendly drivers, to the short drive right over to the hotel, to the meals available. The food is very good right on site! The staff could set us up on a tour on very short notice as we got in very early and wanted to get some understanding of where we were. This turned out to be super, we learned so much history and geography from our driver and got our first look around the territory. The property itself is somewhat isolated in a semi-industrial area so there isn't any walking about outside the property that we could see, but the compound was quite secure. The room was really large. It took a bit to get it warmed up in July and the bathroom did not really warm up. I struggled to get the hot water in the shower going...operator error. Staff is friendly and helpful. Meals were abundant and satisfying. This is a recommendable landing pad especially for first timers to SA. Much preferred to an airport stay.

Aforementioned shower temperature outsmarted me, otherwise a very enjoyable and recommendable stay!

Wonderful little oasis near the airport! We stayed overnight and can’t fault the property. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We were met with a sign at the airport and enjoyed a smooth transfer to the accommodation. The room was clean, bed was really comfortable, and no noise was heard from the neighbouring rooms. We didn’t need dinner but we did enjoy the breakfast, it was really good, a selection of cereals, bread and condiments, fruit, and we had some hot food made fresh for us as well. A really nice place to stay. Highly recommend

Beautiful garden, the owner tried to create an oasis of peace in a very busy neighborhood. Owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is very close to the airport and transfer was perfect.

If you stay during the day you got to be noise resistant. Due to proximity to the airport, starting and landing airplanes are flying over the plot in a very low altitude.

We had only a one night stay with a day to explore the city, we enjoyed our room and had a wonderful breakfast. The staff were very helpful in planning our day, including transportation into the city. Overall very friendly and welcoming, we arrived late and they made us fee right at home. I would highly recommend this hotel to others for a short stay. It is in a good location close to the airport and they offer a shuttle service.

Very well organised pick-up and drop off at the international airport. The two staff who did this were seriously helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent and top quality. The large spacious grounds. The very helpful and friendly staff.

Very handy stopover only 10 minutes from Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport. Even though it’s in a fairly built-up area the fact that it’s set around a garden gives it a bit of an ‘oasis’ feel.

There’s nowhere you’d really want to walk to from the property but you’ve got everything you need right there. They serve breakfast and dinner and they’ll order food for delivery for lunch.

We had a wonderful stay at the Safari club. It is so close to the airport and our pickup was so seamless and it was a warm and pleasant welcome into South Africa. Alistair arranged everything for us and he gave us a lot of useful advice in terms of what to do and see in Johannesberg in a short span of time. The rooms are spacious and the garden is simply beautiful. There are several species of birds that visit the garden space and you can see them at close quarters at the nicely positioned feeding stations. Our favourite was a superb male African paradise flycatcher. :) The staff are very helpful and welcoming and the meals are wholesome and delicious.

The hotel is quote different from the other hotels near the airport. It is in a garden and you do not feel to be near the airport. Of course the sound of the airplanes can be heard. The cottage we stayed in was very spacious. The staff is super nice. Breakfast and dinner are good. Dinner is a fixed menu with a very good price. The hotel helped us in organizeing a beatiful tour in Soweto.

The was nothing that I disliked. Maybe the temperature in the bathroom of our room was a bit cold.

Beautiful garden, comfortable room and great service! The owner booked me a great taxi with a lovely female driver. We went to a food market together. He gave me tips on where to do groceries on our way to the next location. And I got a vegan breakfast after talking to the female owner of the hotel about vegan food (I did not even officially request a vegan breakfast :-)). Such a great gesture. The drivers who picked me up from the airport were great too. All in all it exceeded my expectations: great service!

What a wonderful bed and breakfast close to OR tambo airport. Free pickup from the airport, they had a meal waiting for us on arrival(reasonable price). The room was clean, accommodated our family of 4 quite well. It’s a great jumping off point for your next safari. The staff and owner are also incredibly accommodating and beyond helpful. I will most definitely return!
