The location is island mode. Best hotel if you like snorkling, no need for hiring boat for snorkling trip. This is thd best spot in Koh Tao. The restaurants in this hotel and even hotel nearby are with reasonable price. Staff is nice.

Firstly they assigned me the room with coconut tree partially blocking my sea view which is understandable cannot complain on this. But the air con in the room was noisy. Have to complain and re quest to change the room ( if I did not do this they will let me wait until the mechanic finished repairing it) . Luckiiy, the new room had no blocking sea view and the air con was quite new.

All staff were so kind and helpful; has 2 private beaches; has 4 different areas for snorkeling: breakfast 7:15-10 at restaurant on the beach - fresh fruit, breads, omelette station, yogurt, cereals, many savory choices; hotel provides a free shuttle at specific times each day; free truck shuttle into town 3 times each day: 11:30, 1:00, 2:00; free truck shuttle from Mae Haad pier to resort: 11:40, 1:15; at other times a taxi costs 400 baht; bathroom has rock/pebble floor - feels like a massage; towels were soft and large; room fridge stocked with cold water, soda, sparkling water and alcohol - each item has a price; bed has mosquito netting; floor to almost ceiling windows/door; shower has great pressure and plenty of hot water; outside terrace with view of ocean and 2 lounge chairs; 2 umbrellas in room; 2 bottles of free drinking water provided in room each day; bed is soft and comfortable; bed has 4 pillows; so very quiet - we stayed in A11 and there are 3 rooms in one building and we could not hear our neighbors; spa is quiet and clean with many choices available; enjoyed eating at open-air restaurant near beach; free kayaks, life jackets and lounge chair/umbrella; provides beach towels; snorkeling mask and fins available (100 baht for mask and 100 baht for fins)

Some of the room walls need to be touched up; no mosquito racket in room or at open air restaurant; some areas have a run down feeling; in room very little options to hang dry clothes; limited options in room/on patio for hanging wet clothes; some cockroaches in room; that there was a 100 baht fee to use fins - should come with mask; no fan in room; no screens for doors to terrace - unable to hear ocean and feel breezes at night; we stayed for a week and still had to pay for snorkel masks and fins each day - would have appreciated a ‘deal’ such as for every 3 days you stay, you get a free day of snorkeling gear

Amazing views from the room. Pretty stylish interior. Really peaceful and quiet area, no other tourists except these who actually stay in the hotel They provide free of charge service to the pier and back to the hotel several times a day Free of charge kayak rental Solid breakfasts 450 baht / person

The room has absolutely no storage places. We went there with 2 backpacks and didn’t have a lot of stuff and still struggled a lot. Just can not imagine what it is like to stay there with a luggage..

It was a very cool remote location. The bed was comfortable, there was a nice shower and a nice view. Staffs were very friendly and helpful.

Wellness services such as massage were very pricy. The breakfast location was very lovely, but the food was average.

Beautiful location with an amazing view and beach. The snorkelling on the beach was absolutely amazing. Nice villas and facilities, helpful staff. Overall would recommend.

The location of the hotel is beautiful but also little bit difficult. The hotel offers shuttles to the pier and back which was helpful but not very flexible so we had to rely heavily on taxis as didn’t want to risk an accident on the bike. The restaurant could definitely do better, the food was at best mediocre and we preferred to eat in the city.

Unique spot, great snorcheling spot. Great dive base (CV divers) and good restaurant (Coral view) just next door. Founder is still around - everyone super friendly

It was hard to fix dives with partner dive base abyssal dive - low capacity. Used CV divers next door - great experience

The rooms, comfortable beds, the bathroom, snorkeling equipment, pleasant staff, healthy marine life with plenty of colourful fish close to the beach, cute geckos, good breakfast, massage service, fire show.

Shower problems with temperature, kayak problem as we got a kayak that was broken and we started sinking on the other side of the bay, restaurant and hotel staff not accommodating at times and unwilling to help past their minimal boundaries, shuttle service is not provided often enough considering the island is small and there are so many guests at the resort, WhatsApp numbers inaccurate in resort brochure making it difficult to contact the staff, complimentary classes offered are a nice gesture but they are not managed well.

Lovely accommodation and setting by a lovely beach. Good restaurant with quality Thai options and breakfast choices. Pool was a good size and swim up bar with good and fairly priced cocktails (we tried a few!!). Staff were attentive and polite. They put on activities which were great and well led by professional instructors - we did Muay Thai boxing, yoga and an ice bath which were all great. It is a hilly resort so possibly not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. There’s a regular free shuttle into the main town just 10mins away if you wanted more restaurant options or shopping. Diving can be booked from the resort or next door and leave straight from the beach there - excellent snorkelling straight from the resort. There were loungers on the beach free for resort clients and always loungers by the pool.

We were staying for a week (as I imagine many people might given the length of journey to get to Ko Tao yet there was absolutely no storage for clothing apart from a very small wardrobe with 4 hangers. No shelves, no drawers. As such we had to put piles of clothes on the desk or still in our case on the floor. It’s a shame as the accommodation was excellent in every other way and there was ample space to add a drawer unit or get rid of the desk as it’s a holiday after all! Massages were two times the price of those in town so we didn’t bother but would have done several if they were more fairly priced.

Wonderful place to stay and used all the hotel amenities - we stayed for a full week. The pool was great with its happy hour and view (the staff at the bar is excellent), the private beach has everything you need, the Bay, the restaurant were all lovely & clean. It was a charming get-away where you really feel like you can relax and still do things! The views were absolutely stunning, every day we could not believe our eyes. The snorkeling was great. We rented a scooter from the hotel, 160cc was fine for a couple - we had adventures every other day to explore the island and other beaches. They provide snorkeling goggles which was great to use. Everytime we came back we loved arriving back to our calm peace even if the route was a little unsteady at times. I wish we stayed longer & upgraded for a sea view! 10/10 reco and would come back

The place is not that well lit at night on the property and especially on the road leading up to it. Whenever we rode home by scooter after sunset, we barely had lights outside of the scooter one for almost 15m. Its possible to manage but with a good driver and being focused and responsible. We wish the breakfast ended later, latest time was 9:30am. There is a lot of stairs / steep moments and it can be difficult for some. We liked getting the natural work out in but it should be checked in detail if you have mobility issues. The resort IS far away and remote from everything (guess its the point) - 100% recommend getting a scooter if you are staying more than 2,5 days for independence to go in and out and explore the rest of the island + find alternative food options.

Located on a stunning peninsula with exceptional views. We enjoyed having a choice of two areas to snorkel from and it didn't take much effort to swim to the coral reefs close by. When booking we had some reservations about whether the location would be too remote for us, however the hotel provides a free shuttle bus with several trips to/from Sairee Beach or the port and there were usually spaces if booked on the day needed. Taxis each way tended to be about £12, so that was a good back up. Also, there's a choice of two lunch / dinner options without having to travel elsewhere, including the Sai Daeng hotel restaurant and the next-door hotel restaurant which was right on the beach and had a chilled-vibe. Sai Daeng also offers a well-equipped gym with stunning views, and a good schedule of other free activities.

The sunsets were on the other side of the island, but we knew this in advance and it's a short drive to get to watch them.
