Amazing little resort on the hillside just at the end of the main Koh Tao road. Quiet and peaceful, with breathtaking views over the Shark Bay, yet well connected to the rest of the island. Our family bungalow was spacious, had a separate little "bedroom" for kids, and a big terrace suitable for PT during rainy days. The hotel is LGBT-friendly and family-friendly, and you can snorkle right off the rocks when the weather allows! The most helpful and accommodating staff, too. Highly recommended, will come back!

Everything was wonderful

Place is really nice and chill. Whole staff is amazing. Allways ready to help you. They have a free pick up from harbour. Breakfest is great, and it's untill 11.00. Place has a few cool cat's whos hangon around at place. You can borrow for free snorkeling equipments. Just stairs down, and there is a beach. But beach is really small. There is 3 much bigger beach cloce by 10 points to this place

Bungalow upstairs AC was little old and loug. Down new and silent.

This resort is located right on Shark Bay with a small beach to sit on and where you can go snorkelling. The staff at Seaview were very friendly and helpful, lending us some snorkels for free and also helping us sort out a scooter. Our room was a treehouse, which was spacious and had a nice balcony.

The resort is located on quite a steep hill which means there are quite a lot of stairs between the rooms, beach or restaurant. Also, this resort is out of the main town which means there isn’t a huge amount of restaurants within walking distance, so you will need to rent a scooter, or get a taxi.

Large bungalow overlooking the bay. Sliding door connecting a twin room with a king room, both with their own en-suites. Steep steps up to the restaurant, & down to the beach with its own bar. Beautiful fish (& we did see a huge turtle) in easy distance from the shore. Snorkels & life jackets available to borrow from the hotel. Also, free transfer to & from the port. Window & veranda to the front to view the bay. Breakfast was good, as was the evening meal. Loved our stay here - wish we had longer.

Great place to stay, little private beach and some stairs depending on what place you stay in that take you out to the rocks and water. Friendly and helpful staff, restaurant on location. Can rent snorkel gear or multiple things for leisure and fun activity. Swim out and you can see sea turtle and groups of fish. Room was clean and really nice, dark hard wood floors. Bathroom is partially outside which also was cool experience.

Everything was great!

We had a lovely stay for 7 nights total at Taatoh Seaview Resort. The location is amazing with gorgeous views from the bungalows. You can access the water for snorkelling right from the resort. We spent 2 nights in the Romantic Seaview Bungalow and the large deck at the sea front was so magical at all times of the day! The main stay in the Sea view bungalow was also great and very functional and comfortable, with a nice deck and view over Shark Bay. The bungalows are all unique and a bit rustic and quirky. This place is great if you like a more authentic and traditional style Thai experience. The staff in this family-run business were very kind, helpful and accommodating. The restaurant is also superb - maybe my favourite restaurant in Thailand! The thai food at the restaurant was fantastic, also nice drinks available. The restaurant view is also second to none! There is a good paved road and the resort is easy to access on a scooter (not super steep or windy like some areas of Koh Tao)

If you have mobility issues, the stairs may be challenging to get around. Not an issue for the young and fit though.

Location, views, restaurant excellent. Happy hour cocktails. We had a family room and beds huge so managed 3 kids in one bed (if there's 5 of you, book for 4 and squeeze the extra one in). Turtles in the bay (we saw 3) but no sharks despite the name.. a new (we were last here in 2022) bar on the little beach plays music all day which is a + or a - depending on your perspective. Free transers to the pier at check out.

Breakfast wasn't included and ended up costing about 1000b for 5. 3% fee for credit card payment.

View is really really incredible. Easy access to beach, can rent snorkeling stuff but sea a bit agitated to start. Room is really cute and clean.

You hear a lot water and birds at night, if you have light sleep you can get easily disturbed, but it is worth the view. Food at the resort restaurant is not well described in the menu it's not reflecting well what you will have. tried once and preferred to eat somewhere else.

- I would recommend to renovate the bathroom. - When we were there, it was quite stormy and therefore the night was quite loud because of the waves (it did not bother me but maybe you want to know about it)

The location is amazing and you get to swim/snorkel all day in shark bay which is just attached to the property. We had unobstructed views of the sea and a private deck too!

The room was a bit rundown. Also, there are too many steps you have to climb up from the room to the restaurant. It’d be convenient to have room service in this case. Rest everything was amazing.
