Lovely pool area. Really easy to book tickets for the parties on the island at a good discounted price. Slightly further out of the main strip which we personally enjoyed, however not far at all with a taxi.

If you don’t like cardio, in the heat, then please don’t book a room without aircon! We made this mistake and it seems to be the fan rooms that I think are the slightly older buildings which are up a lot of very steep, uneven steps. The rooms get very very warm at night and all of us really struggled with this. They don’t seem to have many air conditioned rooms so I think they sell out a lot quicker.

Loved the beach bar / restaurant and the new modern room we had opposite the pool. The bike rental was also easy and a decent bike. Good location close to the nicer beaches and a short drive from town.

The pool could do with a revamp, the sun beds were terrible - had awful red leather cushions on which in the sun became unbearably hot to sit on, the pool was also quite warm so wasn’t really refreshing.

We loved it here, great resort! The only thing I would say is, the rooms that are on the hill with the seaview, fan only (which we had for part of our stay before upgrading to an aor con room ) are so hot this time of year. The sun is on the room all day and right until sunset, which makes the room so so hot, there is no escaping it. The steps up to these rooms aren't that bad, unless you have health issues. The Excerise is good for you! The resort itself has a lovely pool, which is kept clean.....more sunbeds would be great, but not a massive issue as the beach is directly across the road. Nice bar/restaurant. There are kitchen facilities available for you to use. To cook your own food and access to a kettle to make your own tea/coffee. This little kitchen area is sistuated just right of the bar , by the beach tooms, ask at reception. The resort also has scooters for you to rent. I would definitely book here again! Nothing - all good

I stayed at the beachside bungalow which was literally 10 steps from the water. I LOVED that little bungalow. It was so perfect for a single person like me. The wifi was great which allowed me to work while I was there. Tom at Reception was super helpful the moment I checked in. The restaurant next to JP was also a great place to relax, look out at the amazing water and the food was good. The hotel is located at a more quiet area of Koh Tao so if you are lookijng to party, better to stay around Saree Beach. But if you prefer a quiet area like me, then JP is the best place for you. The pricing for JP was also very reasonable compared to other properties on the island. I consider myself very lucky to be able to book such a beautiful place to stay in Koh Tao at such a reasonable price. I will definitely return.

It was lovely but not very personable we didn’t have much contact with any of the staff but that was fine!

Very nice location, walking distance to beautiful Freedom Beach and Shark Bay (where you can see sea turtles!). Had a room with incredible view (after you climbed all the stairs lol). Close to 7-eleven and lots of restaurants and couple massage salons. Very nice staff, helped me with booking a trip and transfer off island. When the speedboat was cancelled because of weather, they prolonged my stay without a problem and apologized even though it was completely out of their control.

My room came with no hot shower, but that was described beforehand in the booking, so no surprise. The restaurant by the reception is not very good and a kinda overpriced, there's lots of better options nearby.

The guy from the reception was always ready to help us. The hotel is close to the main beaches and is walking distance to good restaurants and cafes! Also the pool is a plus!

They include photos of the restaurant in front of the hotel in their listing, making it look like it's part of the hotel. But in reality, it's not. You have to order something to stay there, and the food is a bit overpriced for the quality.

We stayed in the King Room with AC. Very comfortable. The resort bar/ restaurant is right on the beach and has lots of seating options, a good menu and a pool table. The pool was cleaned daily and has loungers with umbrellas. Location has lots of cafes / restaurants / stores within walking distance and you can rent a bike for 200bht pday which includes scratch insurance. They shuttled us to the pier in their resort jeep for less than the local taxi prices. Crazy that it's a 1 star hotel rating.

A kettle with no tea/ coffee or cups, and a tv with no stations from what we could see / find.

A cool little resort on Koh Tao. Comfortable bed & we had a large, poolside bungalow. Good sized bathroom with nice toiletries in large pump bottles. AC worked perfectly. Onsite bar/restaurant had great cocktails, only 99 baht during happy hour. Didn't eat there but extensive menu. Friendly staff. A walk further around the main beach brings you to a beautiful little swimming spot where the water is clear & cool. Good for a snorkel.

No pool/beach towels were provided. There was a kettle in our room but no tea or coffee, or cups provided, not even 1 glass. Beach is dirty with lots of plastic everywhere, and the bar then gives you individually wrapped straws with every cocktail 🤦🏼‍♀️.

The rooms are well laid out, with outdoor seating area, and a small hanging space for clothes. The pool was right outside, ideal for a refreshing dip or lounging around in the sun. The beach is directly outside the bar area and like most on the island is quite small, but then the sea is crystal clear and ideal for snorkelling.

There was no tea/coffee facilities, but this was not a real inconvenience given the reasonable price and the room in general.
