Very friendly and welcoming owners, and they accommodated a late check in as my ferry was delayed. The rooms are simple and clean, and comfortable enough. Location is easy to get to when arriving at Koh Tao, but it is around a 20 minute walk (uphill) to the centre, and a further 30 minute walk to the area with clubs and bars. Scooter hire is available across the road for a good price, which I would recommend doing. Easy side entrance to rooms after the cafe has closed, and plenty of space to park scooters.

The bathroom felt a little tired, and the mattress wasn’t the most comfortable one I’ve ever slept on, but nothing major at all.

Nice place for a very fair price. The host is superfriendly, 11/10! Always there to help if u have questions, need advice or help. The room was very spacious, a balcony, had a/c and vent (for me a very important combination in thailand). All in all, HIGHLY recommended! Many good places to have food nearby.

The bathroom was like usual thai bathroom), but the light didnt work and there was some mold (didnt bother me personally). Only little problem for me is that it was a little bit noisy, because the room was at the street, but no problem with oropax.

All was almost perfect (the lack of kitchen was the only downside). Hot water, spacious room, very clean, good wifi, very nice stuff, towels and bed sheets are changed every 3 days. There s a restaurant at the entrance. Another one just next door. And walkable distance to many others, to shops etc. 20 min walk to shark bay, 20 min walk to another beach, 30 min walk to the pier. Scooters can be rented just next door or across the street.

The location really isn't walkable to the main tourist area as the island is very hilly so the walk is a sweaty one! Hiring a scooter was essential as taxis are very expensive (300 baht to ferry/sairee area). There are some restaurants nearby but you do feel out of the main area unless you have a bike. We did hire one on our 2nd day which changed everything!

The owners of the hotel are absolutely lovely, and went out of their way to make our stay as great as possible - super chatty and friendly! The room was really spacious, with comfortable beds, a fridge, amazing aircon and fan and spotlessly clean! For the cheap price, this place really blew us away and went above and beyond!

Only fault is the location, but with a scooter this isn’t a problem at all - we were on foot so was a bit of a trek into Sairee but realistically still manageable. This is also much closer to Freedom Beach and Shark Bay, so great for easy access beach days!

The location was close to the pier and numerous beaches. The island is small enough you can get anywhere within 15 mins on a scooter. The staff were lovely when greeting you and the man showed us loads of different places and gave us recommendations on Google maps. They offered snorkelling gear to hire for you stay and booked us a taxi when we needed to get back to the pier to catch a ferry.

The bed seemed broken and was so squeaky and noisy, every time you would move in the night you’d hear it.

The staff were great and really made my stay with just little interactions. Hotel is on the quieter side which I really liked. Less than 10kin walk to the beach. Could even walk into town so perfect location for me. Room was clean and bed comfortable.

It’s by the main road so you can hear the scooters but it does quiet down in the night. Also there are a lot of signs with warnings/ rules and a fine if you break them. I understand the reason for them but they don’t make the atmosphere so nice.

The owners are very friendly and nice people, with the best cappuccino. The rooms were clean. Nice big fridge. There was shampoo and shower gel provided. Wifi worked fine. Location is great as it is out of the crowded center. It is a good 15-20min walk from the port but with a motorbike everything is super close. Laundry and good food just around the corner.

It can get really hot in the room even with 2 fans. The sink did not properly work and there was a bit of a smell coming out

The host was very lovely, learned my name immediately and helped me with any questions and gave me great suggestions. Great customer service. It's very central on the island, so you can basically get anywhere with a scooter within 5 minutes.

There are many options to park your scooter, but not all are very easy to get on. I went for the non-AC room (my fault), which was a bit warm with only fans :-D

The owner of this place is great! He sat us down and went through Google Maps on my phone saving great spots and top tips for around the island. They are very accommodating and this was a great stay for couples as there is a communal area at the top of the hotel to meet those staying in the hostel dorms. Very clean and lovely hospitality!

The location is a little far from Sairee Beach with a 30 minute walk but the local area is very scenic and everything is within walking distance!
