Comfy beds, big room, good location for us.

No staff available on arrival and no one when we went check out. New $7 parking fee for a nearly empty parking lot. Breakfast was not up to normal Hyatt Place standards with flimsy serving plates and food equivalent to a Comfort Inn. We’re Gold Passport members and this stay was not up to par.

Missed a lot a desk lamp! (so a bit inconvenient for working, but not a big deal) The water pressure in the shower was bit weak. Also, my bathroom was out of shower gel but there was soap and shampoo available.

Shower drain was partially broken. Made for a safety hazard while showering.

It is set back on a side road so it’s not right next to the highway. This makes it easier to get in and out of and it’s a lot quieter outside without all the traffic noise. The hotel is very nicely designed and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Very nice and helpful staff. Best hotel breakfast we’ve had so far. We’ll definitely be back again.

Only thing I found was the shower hadn’t been fully cleaned and I found a bunch of someone’s hair on the shower wall. Other than that it was an extremely relaxing stay.

Around 7pm I was trying to figure out what to eat for dinner and I really didn't want to drive anywhere (I was very tired). I went down to the lobby to ask if there was a vending machine somewhere that I could get a bag of chips or something. Much to my surprise they had a kiosk type station where they were able to make me a chicken sandwich. I was thrilled with this option. We stayed in Lubbock Texas and the guy who was working the lobby food kiosk that night was amazing and very cheerful. He deserves to be recognized (unfortunately I didn't get his name). We stayed on Feb 19, 2024.

Overall we were pretty happy with our stay.

The beds were comfortable with very nice sheets and pillows , blankets . The location was convenient, and The fitness center was open 24 hrs. It was nice they offered snacks when checking in. The customer service was good. I would come back overall it was a nice place.

I arrived the bathroom door had sheetrock dust particles when opening the bathroom door , I did not like not having a microwave. I went to get ice and there were no plastic bags to put in the ice bucket, been nicer to have that available. It was a nice size room with a couch very nice with a privacy panel.

Great friendly staff, very accommodating, great breakfast, and located close to Texas Tech.

The pool was closed 1st day for maintenance and then opened the next day but when my husband and son went to it...it was closed for cleaning and then we were told it was closed by inspector which was disappointing as the family wantes to go swimming. Staff was very accommodating and gave us a discount once they found out how upset we were. But other than that, our trip was great.

Location was close to everything. The room was spacious and the staff was very helpful. It's easy and fast to check in and out. The facility looks new and every thing was clean.

The ac didn't cool as much to our likinh. It was a big room so i guess it's the cons of having it. Also the blinds didn't work, i have to call the receptionist to shut it for us.

The beds were extremely comfortable, and the room was the right size for husband and I.

The breakfast. According to my husband, the breakfast was subpar. The eggs and hashbrowns were in a large pot and didn't look appetizing. The oatmeal was runny. The fruit was much better. For the Hyatt, I would expect better.

The staff was super accommodating with my special requests. We got a walk-in shower for my older parents, rooms close together so we could all help with my infant niece, and when it was possible and adjoining room. The staff was kind, polite, warm, and very helpful.

Honestly everything was wonderful. Maybe breakfast could have extended another half hour but that is such a minor thing.
