The rooms were great. Comfortable, large enough. Silent… with the view on garden. Air conditioning working well. Perfect to rest! Well connected to the city with transport, near shops and fast food places.

The area around the hotel is full of drug addicts and looks really sad. It is pretty disturbing… we had three rooms booked in our name, and checking out for one of them just for two hours extra was not possible. It would mean a lot to us after a long day at the festival and before a long bus trip back, but the reception did not want to help us even when we asked to pay extra.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything exceeded my expectations. The service was outstanding the staff were friendly, helpful, and always available when needed. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was impeccable. I was also very impressed with the location, which was convenient and close to everything I needed. Overall, it was a perfect experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Everything was fine

The bed was huge and very comfortable, and the shower was hot. The room was spacious, and everything was clean. The central station is 10 or 15 minutes walk away, or a very short subway trip. I don't generally avail of daily housekeeping when I am on holidays anyway, but I thought it was clever the way the hotel offers vouchers to redeem at the bar for those content not to have towels refreshed daily, etc. It's win-win in terms of reducing workloads on housekeeping staff and offering customers something they might prefer. The staff were fantastic and I would have to single out Frau Gashke at the reception, who was very helpful, kind and patient. Thank you!!

Personally, I didn't think the neighbourhood had much to offer beyond a rock bar around the corner - that's not to say the Ramada wasn't excellent though. The hotel is probably better suited for business travellers rather than sight seers looking to stroll around.

i liked the roosm because they were big and comfortable. i really enjoyed the breakfasft whihc was a very large buffet and the eating times are quite large then i really appreciated the friendlyness of the staff and this everywhere : at the reception, at the breakfast buffet and even the room-cleaning staff. the hotel is located in a goof neighborhood and the centre of the city is really easy to go to by foot .....

comfy bed, in walking distance to train station, large room, soundproof walls (we didn't hear any noise from other rooms), fast check in and check out, reliable place

it was cold at night in may and the a/c didn't heat up the room. there were some things on the wall looking like booger. there were a coffee machine but no capsules. tap water was either too hot or too cold. also no fridge in the room

The room was spacy and the bed very comfortable. There was a bottle of water and a pod coffee maker in the room and the option to order room service or eat in the restaurant. The bathroom had a large shower and amenities.

The hotel is next to a major road, in the north-east of the city centre, near the Rathaus Platz tram and bus station. This area is not very nice but it is only a 10-minute walk away from the pedestrianised areas of Essen.

The room was incredible as was the view. the staff were amazing especially boris and all his colleagues! They were super friendly and eager to help with anything i needed. I was there for medical treatment and at times very very sick and they were so thoughtful and helpful, i appreciated it immensely! They also are currently storing my luggage in their storage room before i return there. The bar staff and food stuff were great too, as was the quality of the foods and drinks! I would recommend this place to anyone!!

The hotel room was very clean and had everything we might need for one night. Especially appreciated was the AC in the room since the temperature outside was so high.

There's one vending machine in the reception/waiting area. Unfortunately it doesn't take cards, only cash. The hotel reception is prepared and is willing to exchange the bills for some coins if needed. Something to keep in mind if you need some snacks in the evening. Otherwise no issues.

The hotel is in the city center and easy to reach from the main train station. There was free water and tea/coffee in the room. It was also an advantage to have a safe box and a mini fridge in the room. The room and common areas were very clean. Since the hotel was available, they allowed me to check out late.

Breakfast variety and wifi could be better.

It's a very nice hotel. Nice welcome The location was perfect for us! We went to the Pluto sauna. The bed and pillows were very nice. Breakfast was very good. Parking was also perfect! When we went there, there was enough space. The restaurant was also very good.

The bathroom is good, but a little small. I also missed a mini-fridge.
