Came to Essen for the Spiel Messe with our 14 month old. They had a crib ready in the room. The little kitchen is well equipped with all the dishes and containers you could need. We ended up using the high chair in the lobby area to feed our son, but it was a nice calm area. I appreciated the help to clean up too. We were pleasantly surprised and happy with our stay.

The cost goes up during the fair. We also had little issues like requesting extra towels every day. The toilet seat was also a little loose. Otherwise, nothing to ruin our stay. Would love to come again, but the prices for the 2025 Spiel Messe are higher than ever.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, quiet and it had its own kitchen which is very convenient. The room we got had also its own iron and ironing board. It was like staying in your own appartment. Also, the property was really close to the city center.

The parking area was a bit small and it was shared with the neighbouring hotel, so there is quite a chance for not getting a parking spot. Though you can park in the streets or in a parkhouse that is a bit further away, but it's just more convenient to park inside the property of the hotel.

The staff was very nice and helpful. You could get free coffee and tea 24 hours, which was very nice as well. The room was comfortable and clean. The parking was very nice, it was behind the hotel and was fully fenced so felt very safe.

I like to sleep in a cool room, the temperature of the AC didn't go down enough in my opinion, in the summer it must get pretty hot inside. And because there are a lot of people in front of the hotel at night, you can hardly sleep with the windows open. In my opinion 15 euro per night for a little dog is too much, but this almost seems like the standard now, so I'm not holding this against this hotel.

Second time I come to this hotel and I really like it because it is confortable when you have a baby. As we know that washing bottles or baby stuff in the sink of the restroom is not very hygienic and practical so we need more hotels like this. To be honest we came to Essen only because of the hotel, and we noticed while speaking with other guests, that we are not the only ones.

A bigger bed. know that is not common to have guest that co-sleep with babies but we (the parents) need a little bit of space. :p

Location convenient for main station. Good car park close by. Staff excellent, polite and helpful…. Outstanding. Kitchenette well equipped. Room’s spotless and well looked after. Lovely housekeeping staff and very thorough as well as accommodating. Rooms very quiet and didn’t hear noise from other guests . Occasionally could hear movement of furniture in floor above but no problem. Washing facilities on site good and low cost . Gym also good .

A wonderful hotel. The reception staff are friendly and wonderful and provide excellent services. I have not seen anything better than this hotel. A wonderful hotel in every sense of the word. Very, very wonderful staff at the reception, in the services, in the breakfast, and everything is wonderful and excellent.

There is nothing I did not like everything is excellent in the hotel everything is excellent.

We were here for the Christmas market. Location was ideal! Within a two minute walk we were in the center / the beginning of the market. Breakfast had a lot of options and was constantly being refilled. Staff was very friendly!

Only thing was that our room was very hot (25 celsius when we arrived) and we couldn't lower the temperature quickly. But since we were here for only one night, I didn't mention this to the hotel.

Lovely, clean studios with good kitchenette. Plenty of utensils etc and housekeeping very good. Staff always friendly and helpful. We appreciated the use of the gym on site and the laundering facilities were excellent value and an easy to use app for their use. Although not the best path of Essen, it was close to the Hbf/food shopping and the Q car park on Gildehofstraße was good value , around £10 per day and very close by.

The location was great , too many restaurants , super markets were around the area , the breakfast was ok , and the 24 hours of drinks were offered ( tea , coffee , choco ) which was an extra bonus for the hotel . the room was well organized and the kitchen was fully equipped , the hotel staff were helpful .

Some fruits during breakfast were not fresh . Some disposable toothbrush / paste would b great

We did not have anything to complain about. A very friendly and helpful receptionist (the Indian guy). The room was quiet and clean. We had everything that we needed.

Give more information about parking i.e. there are parking places in front and on the side of the hotel, but there is no guarantee of getting one. Also good for visitors to know when/ the times they can park for free and when they need to pay.
