For our needs the hotel was almost perfect, on our route, good price, comfy, and convenient - would definitely use again

The chap in the restaurant obviously didn't like dealing with English people, kept us waiting over 30 mins to take our order and then when he did finally come to take it he said something we couldn't understand and immediately walked off and sent a young lad over to take our order (he repeated this process with 2 other groups of English people, one group he lead into the middle of the restaurant and then walked away and left them standing there...... ) - not a good experience for the English but he was the only disappointment, otherwise we had a pleasant stay.

Breakfast had a good selection to choose from. Room was fairly spacious and had a kettle ok for a night stop.

Room had a stale aroma like someone had smoked in it but didn’t want to change rooms as had booked 2 rooms and didn’t want to be in a different block to our teenage children and we were only night stopping. Booking.com confirmed 2 rooms booked for 4 people and paid in advance but the hotel insisted we had only paid for 2 breakfasts so we had to pay again. I have raised this with Booking.com but not had a reply yet. Building looking a bit tired and worn, needs to be renovated but ok inside rooms. Did expect higher standard for price paid.

Th evening meal and the breakfast were excellent. The weather was very cold but the room and dining room was nice and warm

People who have mobility problems need to specify very clearly that they need a room with a walk in shower in a room on the ground floor. I was not precise enough when making my request and on the outgoing journey had a shower on the first floor and on the return journey had a ground floor room but sadly the room had a bath. Next day the very helpful manager told me I should have come back to reception and got the room changed but I explained we were simply too tired to bother. Our fault entirely .this isn’t actually a.complaints - simply hope this advice is useful to other elderly people. 😊

Food was good though the wait for main course was a bit long. The staff were pleasant and helpful and corrected the bill. Plenty of pillows in the room. Nice towels.

The toilet didn’t fill properly so flushing was bad and it wouldn’t flush when we left. The mattresses are hard and need toppers. The under sheet or mattress cover on my bed was stained and grubby. The coffee isn’t very nice. We were not given an itemised bill just the total which we paid. When we asked for s breakdown an error was found and refunded. If we had been given the bill the error would have been found before paying.

Great for overnight stay with my dog Archie. A good field in back. Good value and a nice restaurant and meal.

Reception staff were friendly and helpful. . The room was clean, comfortable with air conditioning that was able to cool the room despite the canicule. Parking was good but it could be more obvious that the entire area is available no matter which hotel is used.

Lack of food and service for breakfast. Unfortunately as we arrived at breakfast 30 minutes before the service was due to end nearly everything had gone. When we managed to find a member of staff they provided us with cereal bowls, cutlery, a small amount of bread and two portions of butter. If you have paid for breakfast and you arrive within the alloted time then a typical amount of breakfast should be available. As such our breakfast was poor and not value for money.

The dinner was really good, and so was the breakfast with plenty of choice. The pillows were amazingly soft, just how I like them! It was convenient and quite private.

Unfortunately it was difficult as a British person here as there was a big language barrier, no one spoke English which I found surprising in hospitality, especially being so near the motorway that takes you to Calais. The lady we dealt with at the end was quite rude as well, simply pointing harshly to a box to drop the room keys in when I asked about checking out.

An good place to stay for the night on your way through France. The staff were helpful and the bed was comfortable. We were given a ground floor room as requested as we are over 80. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent.

Unfortunately the room was in need of an upgrade. A shower in a bath is impossible to use for the elderly and it was all a bit tired.

This is an excellent hotel for travelers, it has everything you need.

The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good. The best thing was the excellent hair dryer! A positive mention also for fresh fruit and defrosted berries plus soy milk at breakfast.

The room was a bit tricky to find in the dark as it was not in the same building as the reception but on the backside of another one and only accessible by outside stairs that were not properly marked nor lit.
