We booked a family room - and this was a proper family room! There were two rooms, each with a double bed, and a door between the two that you could actually close. Bigger than any 'family room' we've stayed in before. Excellent location - only a ten minute walk into the centre.

I hadn't realised that we needed to book parking beforehand, and the car park was full when we arrived. (I'm not sure whether I'd missed this detail, or whether it wasn't mentioned at the time of booking - it would be very useful to know.) However, we parked in a gravel parking lot directly across the street, so it wasn't a problem.

The property is situated close to the medieval centre. It is your classic hotel with everything you need, but a shout out for the quality of mattresses in the rooms, and the lovely perfume / smell that lingers in the hallway. There is also a pizzeria next door which is great value for money, and convenient when travelling (with kids). Breakfast is available at the property with a buffet bar. The hotel also has an underground parking which we didn't reserve beforehand, but I would recommend doing so as we were lucky to get a space.

The only negative feedback is that the shower would flood onto the bathroom floor, so our bath mat was soaked after the first shower (we are a family of 4).

Greeted by very friendly helpful staff. Short walk in to Troyes old town which is very pretty and like being in diagon alley in Harry Potter! Went to la tablier for supper. Great meal. Room was great - interconnecting doors to our teenage sons. Secure outside parking available which we prebooked as we had 4 bikes on our roof which we didn’t want to take off. Great shower, comfortable beds and much better than expected breakfast. Good quality and plenty of choice. Would absolutely recommend. We are genuinely fussy travellers with high expectations. We were suprised just how good our experience was.

If I was going to be very picky, I would say an extra staff member at breakfast as the lady was run off her feet!

They were dog friendly. They didn’t give treats, bowl, mat, bed, like other hotels, but we were allowed her in the bar area, but not the dining area. We paid to park underground because although there was a free car park across from the hotel, we weren’t sure it was safe to leave the car there.

We took the dog out for a walk late at night and the area seemed a bit dodgy (hostel just up the road, people sat outside on the kerb, teens in cars hanging out playing loud music at the closed petrol station next door). I know I sound old but these things put you on edge because they’re unpredictable.

This hotel is perfectly located, easily and quickly reachable from the motorway, yet a mere 15 minute walk away from the beautiful Old City of Troyes. We just stayed for one night, en route between the Atlantic and Germany, but were delighted to discover the wonderful Old City of Troyes which would be well worth a longer visit. The hotel rooms are basic and without any specific aesthetic quality, but comfortable and clean. The staff were extraordinarily friendly and the breakfast was truly outstanding for a hotel of this category. Recommended. We would stay again.

Nothing, everything was to our satisfaction.

English was spoken at reception. We used the enclosed hotel parking, which was serviced by two elevators. Our room was quiet. The pillows were very comfortable. There was a toilet in a separate room, which was fortunate given that the door to the bathroom couldn't be closed. The toilet paper and tissues were of better quality than in many places. Having a Total petrol station next door was very convenient. There is a good supermarket about a 6 minute walk away.

There was a large crack across our wash basin. The sliding door to the bathroom didn't move at all.

Good quiet accessible hotel. We stayed one night on way south. Good secure parking for cars underground and our car with roof box in secure over height parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful with our request for two rooms together and with a walk in shower. Our rooms had interconnected doors which was a bonus. Bathroom had hand soap and shower gel. Kettle and coffee in room. I have mobility issues and am an occasional wheelchair user and found my chair could fit into the standard room. Lift to the floor and step free entrance. We took a walk (wheel) into Troyes and found lots of interesting sights along the way. A great location. Petrol station next door a bonus to top up.

Carpet in room could do with an upgrade but that’s really trying to find a fault. Breakfast cost was also too high. So we didn’t stay for breakfast.

Nice central location, Hotel is well placed for visitors to Troyes. The building is modern and the fitting out is to a high standard. The garage parking is very convenient for the visitors. But you need to check in and agree with the receptionist to get the key. You can get to reception from the garage by lift. However when you leave you still need the key for the lift as you leave. Breakfast is excellent with all you can wish for. There is a bar and vending machines for food drinks and useful stuff, and all well priced too.

The rooms are comfortable with excellent showers and other sanitary items. And while the rooms are comfortable, we only get one chair to sit in. For older people lying around on beds for too long is not comfortable in the evening. Maybe there is a drop off for the card keys in the garage, but we could not see it. The roof to the garage is quite low, maybe a warning bar could be useful at the top of the ramp down?

This must be our 20th. visit when traveling north or south so they must be doing something right. Convieniet location 10mins walk into the centre. Secure parking. Good beds, clean rooms.

They no longer seem to leave milk, with the refreshments, so have to go down to reception to collect some pods! The paper cups supplied are now very thin and too flimsy, making them difficult to hold with a hot drink inside them!

A few months before we went to the hotel, we reserved her electrical charger for our car. I tried they removed the plug from the charger because they were too many cars and no many chargers result day after the car wasn’t charge more than 45% was made our trip really difficult. We had to ask for the compensation after and didn’t receive it yet. Next time I will book a hotel, I will think twice about this for the Kyriad.
