The man at the front desk was super friendly, although didn't speak English so we had fun navigating a "Franglaise" conversation! The room was clean and tidy, the shower got hot and had good water pressure. There was plenty of space too. Th bed was comfy and for one night, it was more than sufficient - especially with the free parking underneath the hotel. The location was ideal as well - less than a 10-minute walk into the town centre and it all felt safe. Our only comment would be that it felt somewhat like a hospital walking down the corridor - that being said, it was spotless and smelt very clean so perhaps it's a good thing! We quite liked that it was paired with an elderly residents' home, as there were always a few people in the bar/social area creating a bit of an atmosphere. For one or two nights, we really can't fault the hotel, especially for the price!

The property was cheap relative to other offerings around. I arrived with my father in law to reception where there a large number of elderly people in the adjoining room, I believe it’s an old people’s home. After we laughed about where I had taken him we found the accommodation spacious, basic but clean. If you are looking for simple, safe, convenient location I would recommend. Maybe not if you are trying to impress your partner for the weekend.

Beds were basic but comfortable

This is our regular place to stay when travelling to the south of France. The property is perfectly located on our route and well placed in Troyes, just a short walk from the town centre. The apartments are very well equipped with fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and cooking facilities. The rooms are comfortable as are the beds and the staff are always friendly and accommodating.

We love everything about the property. The only downside is that it can get quite warm in the summer especially if you are on the river side. However they do provide a fan and if you have a room on the opposite side it’s not bad at all. There is no air conditioning.

Simple hotel for stopover in really easy location. Touch screen check in which worked absolutely fine. Located in a quiet area so motorbike felt safe parked outside main door. Breakfast was quite good and the lady who constantly kept on top of maintaining and topping up the breakfast food should be mentioned. I’ve been in similar setups and by 9am most food is finished- not here.

The room was enormous , a complete self-contained apartment as these are also purchasable as retirement apartments . Brand new It is built on the site of an old mill and factory buildings and so a building site in progress outside , but there was no noise or downside to this. A 15minute walk into Troyes old town which is very medieval in parts and we loved it.

It will be even better when the whole complex is completed but we loved it.

Really friendly welcome. Well equipped, really large studio with secure underground parking. Excellent breakfast with a view of the old water mill. The surrounding buildings are in the process of renovation, so if you are looking for a Disney version of France this isn't for you. If you want authenticity, a 10 minute walk maximum to the old town centre and friendly people then this is perfect.

Very convenient to visit the old centre, but in a quiet area just on the outskirts. Beautiful view of the canal from the room. The room was spotlessly clean and had a sofa which meant you weren’t obliged to sit on the bed to watch the tv. Wifi was good. Breakfast was basic but ample and not expensive. Would gladly return if we come to Troyes again,

The entrance looked like a bit of a bomb site….but it was a site that was being developed. No one is on the desk until 4pm. They say that if you arrive early you can leave your bags safely and go into town. However there was no one there when we arrived at 3pm so we had to kill time until 4pm. (No great ordeal)

Pet friendly….we came with two dogs and a cat. Also secure underground parking…

It was very hot in my room B308….the sun shines all afternoon into this room and upon arrival the window was open but hot air was coming in.Shame there’s no,air conditioning but we’re supplied with a fan…

Very very good overall! Very friendly and efficient staff. A spacious, quiet, clean studio apartment, with all the facilities and a very nice view as well. With a very convenient covered and private garage. With a fascinating view over the rapids of a small canal from the breakfast room.

The breakfast menu could be improved.

Big apartment, secure parking was excellent, friendly staff. A bit unusual it is in a retirement home, but wasn’t a problem for us. We were just stopping through for one night and it was good for that purpose, great value. Great location to explore Troyes, which we loved.
