Friendly, helpful staff. Very comfy bed and pillows. Super rooftop area where an excellent free breakfast was served. It's in the centre of town near to the station and Go Bus. Sunny balcony. A proper travelers hotel

The location may not suit everyone but this is the real Egypt, we walked to Luxor temple after dark and McDonald's for a meal, the streets were very busy with lots of young girls in small groups out strolling, we found the walk enjoyable and felt safe.

Friendly and helpful host. Omar arranged a trip to West Bank for me at a reasonable price. Very good WiFi connection. Location walking distance to Railway station, shops and restaurants and go bus which I took to Hurghada. Value for money.

Within walkable distance of the railway station, and the bus depot is a short distance away, Sofra restaurant is on the same street. Staff were kind and the roof top terrace was a nice place to unwind at the end of the day. Mustafa helped me book a bus ticket to Aswan, which I am ever grateful for. My bathroom was clean and big, the bed comfy. Best breakfast I’ve had so far in Egypt, they make you an omelette ❤️! No complaints, would definitely recommend. Heads up that there’s another Bob Marley hostel in Luxor, so make sure you head to the right one

Every night a group of young men would rev their motorcycles on the street, with enough enthusiasm to wake Freud from his grave. Bring earplugs (or lie in bed and curse the masculine ego and its need to prevent people from sleeping)

Keep in mind that this is a hostel. So if you are happy with the basics this is a good place to stay. Good price, friendly staff, great location, tour arrangements for fair prices, nice clean room, clean bathroom with soap and toilet paper, hot water. Fridge on the hallway for shared use. No kettle in the room but i travel with my own small kettle anyway. Breakfast at the terrace was good. Also terrace is a very nice place to spend some time chilling. Walking distance to almost everywhere on the East Bank. If you don't want to walk Omar would arrange you a taxi with a good price. Actually they arrange any activity you like with good prices. Omar arranged us a private tour to West Bank. Car was clean, driver was a great person, he took us everywhere we wanted. Also felluca trip for the sunset on the Nile was great. Very clean boat, 2 young boys with great smiles. They also arrange balloon tours and other activities for good prices. No suprises with the tours, like asking for more money, or skipping the spots promised... All goes as promised and planned. As for the comments i've seen about noisey street. Yes, there is noise, yes sometimes a bit too much. But you are in Luxor, this is a noisey and lively city. If you want to stay in the heart of the city there will be noise everywhere. If you want less noise ask for a room on the back side of the building and use ear plugs. We stayed in a room on the street side. We used ear plugs. Still you hear the car horns, children playing, the prayer call, street sellers etc but those are the part of the city culture and we are here to live that culture. I can sleep in a quiet room when i'm back home, now i am in Luxor ;) Thank you Omar, Mohamed and all staff.

Duvets can use a full cover :)

This place is in a great location, I stayed here two years ago as well. It’s only a five minute walk from the train station and a 15 minute walk to Luxor temple. Omar at the front desk can arrange cars, tours and balloon rides for a good price and I appreciate that breakfast is from 7 to 10 so either early or late, you don’t miss out. There is a lovely roof top patio and you can keep your luggage in the lobby if you take the night train. I like there is a fridge to keep leftovers in as I’m a small eater and it’s like having a free lunch the next day when I have somewhere to keep food. The staff is helpful and friendly.

Cash only, you can’t use your card. I wish there was better internet, but that happens a lot in Egypt.

The accommodation is very cost-effective, and the front desk guy (sorry, I forgot his name) was very helpful. From the moment we arrived, he arranged the airport pick-up, helped us with our luggage, and provided us with travel information. The omelette at breakfast the next day was also delicious. A very beautiful McDonald's is about a 10-minute walk away, where you can see views of the Luxor temple.

The hostel recommended a private car driver who was very punctual and provided quick pick-up service. However, he might suggest you buy souvenirs at tourist spots and visit local restaurants. You can choose to accept or decline based on your preferences. Overall, the accommodation offers great value for money.

Great location, less than 10 mins walk to luxor temple,railway station and bus pickup points(go bus ,super jet etc) and nile east bank where there are plenty of good restaurants as well. The rooms were neat and breakfast was good. All the staff were very courteous and super helpful. They really care about the guests and even warn about various scams with multiple notices all around the hostel. We checked out early in the morning for a bus ride to aswan and without us requesting, the staff packed a full breakfast for us. Overall great experience!

No complaints at all

I love the decor, all the staff are very friendly and helpful (thank you for booking the west bank tour and hot air balloon trip for me!), the room and the bed are very cozy/comfortable and clean, I love that I had my own bathroom (shower was great), the breakfast is simple yet delicious, the roof top is beautiful, there is a fridge on the second floor and laundry service is available and the location is convenient, near to the train/gobus station and many restaurants nearby and you can also walk to the luxor temple and the museums and near the Nile/corniche - thank you for having me and I am glad I chose this hostel for my first trip to Luxor.

The only thing is that sometimes the wifi would cut out and there was some noise from the balcony, but it's not a big deal.

It was a pleasant stay altogether. Could have been better but I guess its value for money, specially if you're only looking for a place to crash mostly. Its location is also good as there's a main road with lots of different shops nearby. The place was very neat and clean.

Breakfast and wi-fi could be better. Also, sometimes it gets very noisy outside because the hotel is located in a somewhat residential area which is a bit busy during the day specially. Also, their checkout policies are quite strict so I would advise to confirm any special arrangements with the hotel in advance. Otherwise, they might ask for more money or they may not have any rooms available due to limited space.

Omar, the host, was very helpful and friendly. He was looking out for me to enjoy my stay, made packed breakfast at odd hours due to my tour itinerary, the location was very close to shops which made it perfect, organised taxi pick up and drop off at a very reasonable price, his taxi man was good and just turned up on time.

Maybe could do with a better welcome package in the room, things like water, tea, or coffee for a start. Also, TV for entertainment.
