The staff were very nice, the lobby and restaurant on site were air conditioned. The pool was nice. There were a few complimentary bottles of water in our room. Breakfast was included in the price and there was a pretty good selection. We had made to order omelettes. Other breakfast items included pastries, yoghurt, fruit, boiled eggs, beans, and a potato dish. Coffee and tea were also offered at breakfast and available in our room. We also ate in the restaurant for lunch and dinner. The prices in the restaurant were very good. We also had some clothes washed and pressed. The prices are per item; however, the cost was very reasonable compared to other hotels we stayed in. We paid around $6 for 6-7 bottoms, 3-4 tops, 1 nightgown, 3 pairs of socks, and 3 undergarments. The hotel is right on the Nile, and the view was beautiful! There was a security guard and gate at the entrance of the property, which made us feel safe.

The hotel only accepts cash, and the ATM right outside the front door did not work for us. We tried 5 ATMs across the street before we found one that worked. The base of the shower was dirty.

The property is in a good location on the main street in Luxor, convenient to go around or to get taxi. the room, bed and facilities are clean, comfy and in good condition. The staff is kind and helpful. Breakfast is just basic.

We really had a nice time in Lotus Luxor Hotel. The room was very clean and quiet. It has air conditioning and a clear view over the Nile from the room balcony. The hotel has a nice swimming pool opened until 7pm, truly wonderful to have a swim while watching the sun sets on the Valley of the Kings mountain. The breakfast is a varied buffet, which is good when you have to eat before visiting the archeological sites. The hotel can provide you this a private driver to visit the Valley of the Kings, and the price is quite good. The hotel location is very interesting because the neighbourhood offers a lot of restaurants, bars and shops, meanwhile the room is very quiet. The staff is quite nice and helpful. Especially one of the ladies at the lobby who helped us a lot when we had a problem with our next booking in Cairo. She was the nicest person! I truly recommend this hotel for your staying in Luxor. Had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made the experience feel special. Staff were friendly and always willing to help. The location is perfect—close to everything yet peaceful at night. Would definitely recommend for a cozy and convenient getaway.

One inconvenience was the lack of in-room ironing options—they only offered laundry service. Sometimes you just want to freshen up your outfit without going through a whole process. It’d be great if they provided irons or ironing boards for guest use.

Our room was HUGE. Great value. The view from our balcony of the Nile and the balloons rising at dawn was just AMAZING. we really loved this place. If you do stay here we HIGHLY RECOMMEND a walk across the road and go to your right - just a few paces up the road is ALADDIN's CAVE. You have to see this place. Saladin has EVERYTHING in this shop. The gentleman who cleaned our room each day was so nice, friendly, and went out of his way to be helpful. He made up some very clever animal figurines with our towels and left them on our bed each day. He didn't have to do that BUT you know it is the little things that count and we really appreciated it.

The only negative - there is no eftpos. We had to pay in cash only.

Location is good, close to everywhere, there’s an alley on front of the hotel, where u can find nice restaurants and shops there. The sheets are not very clean, but it seems to be every hotel in this country, shower is very nice and the AC is very cool, the room is quiet, can see west bank hot balloons in the morning. We booked the west and east bank one day trip through the hotel, and it was actually very easy and effective day(despite the hot weather ofc haha), we enjoyed our time in Lotus Luxor. Definitely worth the money.

Room was lovely, super clean, and although the balcony was small, we had a fab view across the Nile to the west bank. Could see all the hot air balloons going up, early in the morning. The pool was lovely too, also with a view across the river. And the food was so good and really cheap!

The breakfast was awful. Nescafe sachets for coffee, instead of proper coffee, and hardly anything edible, apart from the falafel with tahina. No fresh fruit either, or salad, which is unusual in an Egyptian hotel

For Luxor, this place offers reasonably priced accommodation without compromising too much on quality. The swimming pool was very relaxing, and the view of the Nile River was beautiful. There’s a grocery store right across the street, and many horse carriages are available just outside the hotel.

The room wasn’t spotless, but still acceptable. The bathroom was quite spacious, though the shower area was very small. Breakfast was quite simple.

The staff in the restaurant were not friendly. They did not try and engage with us and were just stiff professionals. Rather disappointing as we were treated really well in a guesthouse in Aswan just before coming to Luxor. Also, couldn't work out if the staff were being racist with us because of our Asian ethnic background or if that is how they are. We decided to avoid the restaurant for meals and ate out inside. Lady (with hijab) at reception was great though!

The facilities, views from the balcony and swimming pool were incredible.

Some waiters were not very nice, asking you to pay the food in cash straight away, not being able to pay at the end of your stay. We talked with the front desk about this issue and they helped us with this. WiFi is as not good as well, in case you need to work. But unfortunately that’s an Egypt problem, not just the hotel.
