The location on the West Bank is great, peaceful with a nice view and a village feel. The breakfast is great, they were able to make it vegan for me. The staff are friendly and helpful and can take you over to East bank with a short boat ride The room is big and overall comfortable.

Due to it being low season I was the only guest which made it a little lonely and lacked a bit of charm, especially as the staff weren’t always around. The room was a little dusty as I suspect it hadn’t been used for a while. It has a pool but looks like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while.

The location and the room size were amazing. Photos of the property don't do enough justice - there was a living room and a bedroom both spacious which opened to a big balcony directly facing the Nile. On top, since it was a 1 bedroom, you had a dining table and a full kitchen at your disposal!

I guess it's a common theme across Egypt unfortunately but for the tours, we didn't get the best of deals, other operators across the Nile or agents could give you better. There's not much happening around the place so don't plan on walking around the guesthouse, you should do that in the east bank of Luxor.

We stayed in a ground floor 2 bed apartment. There are 9 rooms in total. 1 twin bedroom with large single beds, one large king. Aircon and fans in both. The reality is as advertised and the photos authentic Stunning roof terrace with amazing views, breakfast is freshly cooked for you and the food is good. Small swimming pool to cool off in 🩵 This guest house is on the west bank. And I am so happy we decided to stay on the west bank. Here's why....... 1. It's real life Egypt with family owned guest houses and small hotels, a village feel. Reminded me of parts Thailand or India 30 years ago. 2. You have easy access to all the sites @ Valley of the Kings. 3. You get to enjoy the night view of Luxor city across on the east bank. 4. You avoid the constant Luxor hassle as the people are calmer on this side of the river. 5. Easy access across the river to the city side for 70 EGP in the guest house boat and they pick you up if you what's app them. As you are in a desert on the Nile the road is a bit sandy, muddy and dusty along the west bank as opposed to tarmac and concrete so you do get that on you LOL. All part of desert life. The manager and owner communicates on What'sApp and provided 5 star service. Thank you Nasser 10/10 for customer service. This is 5 star service that is more personal and without the stupid price tag and full of real Egyptian friendliness and vibe. It's a family business and the brothers have taxis and boats and tour guides and Egyptologists all at your disposal. Whenever we needed anything it was done. 100% recommend this place if you like to travel independently and really see a country. Also discovered the best coffee shop with real coffee espresso / cappuccino, down the road. 100% recommend Moon Cafe if you are a coffee fiend like me. On Google Maps. 100% recommend Egypt. I've been to about 50 countries, but never to Egypt before. People put me off, I have no idea why I listened to them!? LOL.

This property had a very nice view of the Nile River and Luxor temple and was in a safe location. The rooms we booked all came with a living room attached which was very handy too. Ali gave us a wonderful Felucca ride across the Nile whenever we needed it, even at night. Nasser was very hospitable and very friendly, like a family man. He gave us a fridge upon request and helped us by providing a private tour of the Valley of the Kings and other monuments. They let me use the washing machine which was very handy for free multiple times. They also ran a family-run shop which was very cheap and useful. The chef also gave us the delight of Egyptian cuisine. Their breakfast was excellent. Also, when we ordered dinner, the portions were big, tasty, and fresh. Would definitely recommend it. :-)

Owner was there to meet us. Explained everything, showed us around. Made sure the room was fine. Booked 3 trips, and all went perfect. Breakfast very good.

We booked 2 rooms. The description of the view of the second room was: mountain view. Unfortunately there was not a mountain to be seen. The view was of the back yard. The room was very dark. This did not however take away any of the good service and very pleasurable stay!!!. When we booked, there was only 1 river room left. That room was fantastic. If you can, always book the river view rooms. The views, and sitting out areas are brilliant.( try to get the top floor room)

The room was large and the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and towels were provided. Breakfast was included and was typical Egyptian with bread, an egg, cheese, beans, veggies and coffee. Nassar was an excellent host, helping us to secure transportation to local temples and Valley of the Kings. They even have a motor boat to take you across the river to the East bank. All in all, an excellent value with a great view of the Nile!

The kitchen could have a few more items but I didn't need to cook. It is possible that we could have borrowed anything we needed

The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. They organised everything we needed with ease, including our car ride to Aswan with a stop at Edfu and Kom Ombo. Pick up from the airport was arranged via WhatsApp before we landed. If you wish to see the sites, let the property managers organise it for you as it's for a better price than booking it online. The view from the property is remarkable and you want to stay there longer. The beds were super comfy and we loved our room at the top floor. The boat to the other side is 100 Egyptian pounds and you can always get a ride across. You will be happy booking this place :)

Everything was good

We had a great stay. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Always there if we needed help or had questions. Received complementary fresh juices all day long, which was nice. The location was superb for us as it's a bit further outside the center on the left side of the Nile, and therefore, it was really quiet during the day and night. And just a 5 minute walk to the public ferry. We can definitely recommend this place if you want to escape the noisy city.

Awesome place! it is hard to describe in short why. Please keep reading and hear me out. First: the owners and staff are awesome; each with their own skills and stories. Whether they tell you real history facts or make the best Turkish coffee and sail the falucca to Banana Island. Just some examples why you should visit this place too! Ask them what you need and you will enjoy their services. I could borrow a good bicycle and a private driver to explore all the things I wanted to see. Allow them to arrange a mini-cruise with BBQ and turn to the more relax mood, with a taste of Bob Marley lifestyle wisdom. Have breakfast and enjoy the Nile view during Sun rise in the morning and start exploring the real Egypt from this place. Yes, I want to return to this place, no need to try out other places. This is the place and you should visit it too! There is only one rule: you arrive as a guest and leave as friends.

No complaints! The time I visited this there was no solar eclipse (lol), buuttt there will be one in 2027! So therefore I have no complains. This place has a beautiful view from west bank where you can see the Nile and Luxor temple. Visible from your room balcony and/or rooftop restaurant. They actually are currently constructing a big boulevard road and at the other side of the Nile a brand new 5 star hotel. I am also looking forward to return and try out the prospected new coffee shop too or chill in the renovated garden a bit more. So I think the place will become even more beautiful over time! A reason to return, Inshallah.

Most amazing stay at Luxor guest house. You really get taken care of there. They are so incredibly accommodating, kind and hospitable. You also feel relaxed, and just like you are at home. Breakfast was delicious and their services made the stay so much better. It is a family run business which make it extra special, the young boys are so kind and always ready to help. One even took us on a cheap cruise of the Nile which was one of the highlights of our trip. Can’t recommend this place enough! In all my travels I’ve never stayed somewhere with such amazing hospitality.
