Lovely quiet spot in a country town and a short distance off the Hume Highway, Very nice, clean room with everything we needed for a nights stay. If you have an EV there are about 3 Charging Stations out the front of the first 3 rooms. As it is a small town having the convenience of the Hotel there as well was a bonus for dinner. Delicious meals and great vibe. Plenty of outdoor eating areas and a great deck. You can also order take away and take it back to your room. Friendly, helpful staff and the next morning the lovely lady cleaning rooms offered us a bucket and a squeegee to clean our car windows. It's those little things that make a country visit so much nicer. Highlight of staying in a country town - Seeing a couple of young local boys, about 10, coming for a swim in the pool, jumping on their bikes after and riding home about 6 pm. The joy of seeing kids having that freedom to just be kids.

Friendly Hotel and Pub, run by Genuine country Aussies, just off the highway and a perfect place to spend the night coming north out of Victoria, or going the other way. Room was quiet, warm, and very clean. The bed was super comfortable. this was the best stopover on our travels and also the most economical. The pub food was really good, and again great value. This is just the kind of stopover you want when tired after a long day on the road. TV reception for free to air is SBS only, so bear that in mind if there is anything you really have to watch, but the smart TV would presumably allow you to log in to netflix or ABC iview if you travel with your account login. We are often looking to stop around Holbrook, or somewhere between Albury and Golburne, so this will be our new favourite, if only for the cleanliness and very comfortable bed.

Good pit stop between Melbourne and Canberra. We had stayed in the past and they have recently renovated and upgraded the linen which was lovely. Really quiet and dark location which is a treat coming from the city! Late checkin was no problem for the manager who arranged for a key to be left.

Warm water takes a while to come through in the bathroom- I was worried for a while it would be a cold shower! It does eventually heat up but needs to be left running for some time. It would be great if the owners could look into upgrading their hot water system in future.

Check in was quick and friendly. The airconditioning was on cool in the room which was a welcome surprise as it was a hot day. The room was very clean, decor colour was light grey with charcoal grey very clean carpet and with a double and a single bed so it had plenty of room. The bed was super comfy!! The TV was modern and a good size. The kitchen area had a microwave, plates, bowls and utensils, water and wine glasses. The bathroom although not modernised was very clean. We had drinks and dinner at the pub (a 2 minute walk), the food was fantastic with a good pub menu and some gourmet choices at reasonable prices and plenty of choices for wine/drinks for a small pub. It was a Friday night and by 7pm it seemed that all the locals were there for food and drinks! It was a great family friendly happy atmosphere. The pub has a very large balcony with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. The other impressive thing about this beautiful place is that it is off the highway so it's blissfully quiet at night! We had only booked the one night on our way to Melbourne and were so impressed we booked a night for our return journey and we loved our second night stay!

The room we stayed in was very clean, neat and tidy. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children. Bed was very comfortable and facilities were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The meals in the restaurant in the hotel were excellent with a great variety of choices. The location was a short distance off the main highway, so very quiet, but well worth the stop. Highly recommend. Although didn't require it, there were four electric car filling stations.

Nothing to dislike.

Located in a lovely picturesque old settlement, conveniently placed just off the Hume about mid-way between Sydney and Melbourne, the hotel/motel was welcoming and comfortable. The reception and restaurant is also the village pub, with a good vibe in the evening, good food at reasonable prices and friendly staff. We drove up into the nearby park to visit the viewpoint, which offers dramatic views to the west. We also walked around the town (village?) And discovered the delightful litle wooden church built in 1888 at the southwest end.

For breakfast you had to go to Holbrook - the restaurant was only open in the evening. Because the main fresh air ventilation was via the large windows at the front of the room, the sound of anyone arriving late or just talking outside the rooms was somewhat disruptive.

We arrived in the dark after a long drive and so were greeted in the morning by a beautiful rural out look. The kids loved the saltwater pool. Was quality bedding, artwork, entertainment system, and colourful little gardens. You could tell the staff liked to make it homely. The rooms have been recently modernised with taste. And the cleaning staff were super friendly in the morning.

The night was very quiet except for a generator going off not long away. It may have been a pool pump yet it did cut into the quietness of the night. Again earplugs helped. The street motel sign light was not on when we pulled up, it was difficult to see where to go. The staff at the pub were able to point us in the right direction.

This is a fantastic place to stop basically half way between Sydney and Melbourne. It is off the main highway and extremely peaceful. Normally the pub is open for dinner with full menu ,where we have eaten before and it is fantastic. The night we stayed they had a community night which is great value or you could do a short drive into Holbrook and eat at their pub there. We elected to have snacks in our room as we were tired after driving and it was so relaxing. Especially watching the amazing red sunset. Breakfast was our own but crockery and cutlery and a toaster are provided. The room is tastefully decorated and spacious. The shower is hot and strong. We will definitely be back.

Not a criticism, but We missed not eating at the location but can understand that it is not always possible to do full meals every night. There were other options that the friendly staff gave us.

It was easy to check in. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. There was a pool which was appreciated. The attached hotel had good pub food and reasonably priced drinks and meals.

I don't actually have any specific criticism of the motel, except there was no breakfast option I was aware of. Woomargama itself is pretty small, so we ended up eating breakfast in Albury, about an hour's drive from the motel.

The location was a few km's off the Hume Highway and was extremely peaceful and quiet with no traffic noise, which is exactly what I was chasing for a overnight stay on a long road trip. The accommodation was extremely clean, neat and tidy. It looks like it has been recently renovated since the paint work looked extremely fresh. The bathroom facilities could not be faulted and the kitchenette was fully equiped. Unfortunately we stayed on the 26th of December and the kitchen was closed for the Boxing Day public holiday.

Nothing
