Ideal location in the heart of Leiden, walking distance from station, a beautiful restored grachthuis on the canal (Oude Rijn). The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The room is very large, comfortable and spotlessly clean, a small kitchenette area outside the room. Although in centre of town it was quite as I had an inner courtyard room. Stairs are typical for an old Dutch house, not for the faint hearted. Breakfast was available but there are also lovely cafes and bars right outside the door.

We loved the quaint little town of Leiden and this property was centrally located. The room we had overlooked the canal in the front of the property and was beautiful. This room had an air conditioner, and the windows opened for a fresh air. It had a beautiful bathroom and was spacious.

It was quite a distance to walk from the parking garage. Finding the property was difficult because it is one door way in the middle of some businesses for the entrance to this Airbnb and we came late at night. Maybe a photo of the door would have helped in the description. There is no elevator and four floors. Originally, we were put in the fourth floor (Ugh!) where all the heat that day had risen to and made me nauseous and the windows would not open. But the host was kind and moved us to the third floor to a much better room with an air conditioner and the windows opened up making it very comfortable.

Absolutely loved the location and comfort of the room. Local farmers market, held twice a week in Leiden, was just outside my front door. I loved it so much, I extended my stay for an additional night. The host was so friendly and hospitable and so highly responsive, I felt very comfortable my entire stay.

I loved everything about the property. I rented the loft space, which required walking up 3 flights of stairs in this beautiful, historic home. While I didn't mind it personally, it should be noted for those who may have limited mobility. There is a single chair lift for the first flight, in case that is helpful.

This is a small hotel with thoughtfully appointed and appealing rooms. My room had a fabulous view and a gorgeous bathroom. The owners were lovely. They went out of their way to make guests feel at home. Excellent location. I would definitely recommend NR22 to friends.

In the Netherlands they had to build narrow and up. As a result, many hotels and B&Bs have stairs. My room (on the European 2nd floor and US 3rd floor) invoked climbing 36 steps. Good banisters.

Perfect place to explore this amazing old city. It's right in the centre on top of the Corn bridge and several main historical buildings. Leiden is very easy to walk around and has lots of cafes and bars. Nearby was a baker with a cafe where I had breakfast or where you can buy bread and cakes. I had a lovely large quiet room and access to tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. Very comfortable stay. Access is up two steep stairs typical of the buildings here, but there was a stairlift.

Information on how to use the TV remote and WIFI in the room would be helpful. Everythingh else was great!

Leiden is such a vibrant and relaxing location. It's a mini Amsterdam without the crowds. Great shops, Museums and eateries.

If you're staying next to a canal, be aware that the canal bars can get a bit noisy every day of the week well into late evening. This is a University City, so it's just a natural event!

Excellent location, very friendly host and beautiful top floor suite with a view. The bathroom has an excellent shower and water pressure. The kitchen has a good sized fridge and oven and cutlery. The bed is spacious and comfortable for 2 with reading lights and USB charging.

Like most places in the Netherlands, the stairs are steep and may be a consideration for people with mobility issues. There is a chair lift to the 2nd floor though.

Excellent location. Large room with good bed. Small kitchen with coffee machine. Sanitation was new and functional. High quality internet. A large table to work. Excellent location in the heart of Leiden.

Nearly impossible to reach with a car. Third floor with steep staircases. Not suitable for travellers with physical handicap.

The hosts were great - letting us leave our bags earlier than check-in and later than check out so that we could enjoy the city on foot. The room, overlooking the canal was spacious and comfortable, with a great bathroom. Coffee and tea were available on the landing. Cafés and restaurants are all around the nearby area.

Our own mistake was coming in the days surrounding King's Day, which meant partying from 5pm the day before, with 2 very late nights of music from 3 stages just on the other side of the canal. It was all very good natured, but impossible to sleep through. This is in no way a criticism of the hosts and the venue, which were great - but if you are a lighter sleeper, then maybe choose another venue when it's Dutch party time. Otherwise it's a premium spot in the centre of town

Lovely place situated in the heart of Leiden. The bed was very comfortable and the soaking tube was such a gem. Also, the view was lovely--and if you stay on a Saturday there's a huge market. Walking distance to all major attractions. Would definitely recommend!
