A pleasant small hotel in a great central location in Zagreb, close to the main square, shops and bars and restaurants. Trams from the main square can take you to/from the train and bus stations (number 6) - taxis must drop you nearby the hotel (no car access). Our quiet room at the rear of the hotel looked up to the slope and stairs leading towards the upper town and Belvedere (with midday cannon fire). The room was comfortable/of moderate size and tastefully furnished, with bar fridge and kettle. The breakfast room is also at the rear and is bright and airy. Usual selection of cold meats, cheese, eggs and sausages. The reception and breakfast staff were pleasant and helpful.

The location of the hotel was great and was only a short walk to all the restaurants and cafes. The rooms were nice and big and was comfortable for a family of 4. the beds were comfortable and the room and hotel in general were very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was nice, not much variety but had some lovely croissants and nice coffee. The car park is only a short walk away from the hotel, but it is all cobblestones and can be hard with luggage.

The wifi service was horrible and no point in actually using it because it was extremely slow and nothing would load. The breakfast wasn't great but it was included so that's still a plus. There is no lift to get to the rooms so it can be quite hard if u have large suitcases, in our case we had 4.

The gentleman at the front desk, evening shift, was fabulous. Very welcoming, professional and helpful. The location was great with easy walking to the areas I wanted to see most like the upper “old town” and main plaza. The breakfast was good. The room and bathroom were clean.

The room was very small and felt cramped. 2 flights of stairs to get to 2nd floor. Stairs are the price you pay for staying in a “charming” older part of the city. No elevator which we knew in advance and no hotel parking which motivated us to turn in our rental early. It wasn’t needed anyway, at this point.

The location of the hotel was the main point for me in choosing this hotel. It is in the city center close to everything. After the arrival I was greeted by the receptionist who was always very helpful with any thing that I have requested. Very positive attitude with all of the employees who I communicated with, special mention to the Receptions - keep up the good work. The room was always super clean and the breakfast was excellent. Great thing is the terrace in the back with a forest view like, good to have your coffee or tea in the morning, or even breakfast there if the weather is good. Overall experience 10/10, highly recommended. Will be back next time when visit Zagreb. All the best.

Location really city center, price for 2 people in December is really reasonable. Elegant room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, simple but good breakfast, really nice staff. The advent celebration in this hotel is really a dream.

shower cubicle is so small you are gonna rub your elbows on the wall., the room is not good for people with asthma or allergy because it is heavily carpeted, the heater in the room is not cleaned and full of dust, the overhead bed and night stand are also dusty, i have to wipe them on our arrival because I already had asthma attack. The parking lot is so creepy, not well lighted at night and in broad daylight is dirty, though it has CCTV. Maybe they are renting it but it could be a little renovated because with such beautiful hotel with such parking lot, it doesnt match..

The location was good, very central. Hotel had a cosy feel and felt homely. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was adequate with a fairly good choice, Had good access to the upper town with the steps at the rear of the hotel and also the funicular just round the corner. Rear of the hotel very pretty with Christmas lights and decorations. Overall a good stay.

Although the room was spotless when we arrived, the first days housekeeping left a lot to be desired, bed not properly made, bins not emptied etc As the Christmas market started during our stay there was fairly loud music, we did have a room on the upper floor but could still hear it and people noise. Reception told us it would be over by 11 on the Saturday and 10 on the other days which was correct, just something to bear in mind when booking in the run up to Christmas.

Perfect location , cozy rooms! I’m the classy person , that’s why for me this hotel is amazing! The terrace outside is also beautiful. I would love to go back one day! ❤️

a small selection of breakfast, totally for European people who drink coffee with some croissant I recommend you to add some flakes, sausages , for example but anyway , this is not the worst breakfast I’ve had 😅 coffee is yammy!

First of all, a huge ‘thank you’ to Magdalena, who works the front desk! Not only did she look after all my needs throughout my stay at Hotel Jagerhorn, but she totally save the day for me regarding a Viator ‘all day tour’ I had to the Plitvicka National Water Park. She creatively figured out how to get the information regarding the directions to where I was to catch the tour van…. I already had my e-ticket for the tour, but Viator locked me out of my booking detail which included directions to the meetup spot to catch the tour van. Beyond that, the hotel was everything and more than I had imagined it to be!

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property!!!!

Nice hotel in the heart of the City center (right on the main shopping street with a lot of bars and restaurants around) Very nice breakfast facilities on the terrace, tasty breakfast. Good communication and service. Clean comfortable rooms. our room was quiet during the night. free parking in the closed yard - 5 minute walking.

not a big problem, just to mention for others: - stairs (no lift) - no parking right at the facility but 5 min. walking distance (but we knew it in advance) - yes, A/C is working centrally with no possibility to turn it of, but we had no problem to sleep (it was not so loud and not blowing cold air on us directly - the temperature could be set manually) - our room was under the attick, so it looked very small (no problem for us for one night)

The location of the hotel is absolutely unbeatable; it cannot get any more central. Walking through the arcade to reach the hotel entrance feels simply magical. Our room was super cozy and quiet despite overlooking the inner courtyard. Breakfast was adequate, offering a decent variety of hot and cold dishes. The secured parking area is located only a few minutes walk from the hotel and is free of charge. The highlight of our stay was the staff, who were all incredibly friendly, helpful, accommodating, and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. We will certainly be back.

The sink in our bathroom was a bit on the higher side, which might be uncomfortable for individuals under 165 cm in height.
