Hotel comprising of several buildings in the charming old town of Split. We had a very spacious room with a balcony (as a free upgrade) in what they still call 'the breakfast house', even though breakfast can nowadays be had (with coupons) at Restaurant Bajamonti at the Republic Square There are far worse places to have breakfast, it is at a splendid location, only a couple of minutes walking from the room. Personnel was super helpful and friendly, helped us with carrying the luggage to our room form reception (a walk of a couple of minutes). Parking can be done 20 meters from reception. We could not find a free spot initially, but the personnel moved one of their cars for us, which was very kind. We also enjoyed a really good massage (not included), as Divota doubles as a spa. Wifi was excellent.

Don't forget to put a parking session on in one of the parking apps (we used Bmove), as parking is paid as of 7 in the morning. We were just a little too late (as we arrived sunday evening, when parking was free), so got a ticket on Monday morning, which costed us only as much as a day ticket (12 euro) and some administration costs (66 cents). It had to be paid at the post office, but that is right next to the parking lot. All n all not a big deal.

The “apartment hotel” is composed by several apartments in lovely traditional Split houses scattered around a 200m range. They have a well thought out reception where guests can wait for a while and leave their luggage after check-out. The apartment itself was amazing, brand new with all the commodities you may need and great attention to detail. You even have a lovely terrace where you can relax or have a meal. It was a perfect option for a family of 3. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast is offered at a nearby café but the location is beautiful and the options were really good.

The price is a bit steep compared to other places we stayed during this trip, but given the overall quality of the apartment and services we think it is good value for money.

Very happy with our stay! The hotel has been renovated — everything felt fresh and modern. The room was very clean and comfortable with AC. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is perfect – a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, yet only a few minutes’ walk from the city center. The cozy lobby was a nice bonus, and there were great options for storing luggage after check-out before departure. Highly recommended!

The hotel rooms are spread out across different buildings – in our building, the Wi-Fi was slow and mostly not working. There’s no on-site hotel breakfast, but they do offer a good-quality breakfast in collaboration with Restaurant Bajamonti, located just a few minutes’ walk away.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment - it was AWESOME! Excellent location, charming old Split neighborhood within a few minutes walk of the old city center. The apartment was beautiful, comfortable for 7 people, and very clean. Two bedrooms, bath, kitchen on main level with a third bedroom, bath and living room downstairs. Patios and balconies as well. Even included a hot tub which we did not use. The staff is professional, and friendly. We were given vouchers for breakfast at a nearby restaurant in town - lovely, delicious breakfast, great staff there too, and very accommodating. We come to Split every year and will definitely stay here again!

No complaints at all! Something to be aware of that this is located in a pedestrian zone in a charming old neighborhood with many steps and cobblestones - but so worth the effort!

Bright, spacious and one of my quietest stays so far in Split. Cleaning staff and desk staff were all lovely. Excellent location (get the breakfast bagel and yogurt parfait at Ciri Biri Bela!) and great AC/ in unit laundry machine.

I'm sure each unit is very different, so this is just based on my two level unit: if you plan on using this as an apartment and actually cooking, the mini fridge isn't very useful. And while it's lovely to have an outdoor space, bear in mind that it's not very private (three planters are used as a separation between your and your neighbors space).

Divota Apartment Hotel is in an excellent location just on the edge of Split old town but away from the noisy nightlife. The hotel is a multi site facility with rooms / apartments located close together on or close to Plinarska Street. Our room located at 27 Plinarska was modern, spacious, clean and had aircon which was still needed in September. We had a balcony which was very useful for sitting out on an evening and drying clothes / swimwear. The pictures The breakfast, which is included, is lovely and a great start to the day. Breakfast is served at the Bajamonti, restaurant about 5 mins walk away in the Old Town located in the Prokurative Republic square with sea and port views. The staff at Divota were extremely helpful and our room included a QR code giving helpful tips for your stay.

The only very small negative was having to carry our suitcase luggage up five flights of stairs to our room. There was no lift. This would be no problem with a carry on case.

Very nice hotel in the old town, close to a car park. The room was set on its own with a dedicated door from one of the old town streets. Everything in the room was excellent. Very clean, comfortable beds, stylish furnishings. The highlight was breakfast, we were given a voucher for breakfast in a restaurant in a square looking out to sea. One of the best "hotel" breakfasts ever.

The price was on the high side, but the exceptional breakfast was included. There was some noise from the street but it didn't disturb us.

Room was very comfortable (bed); space was perfect for us. Table with comfortable chairs. Breakfast at restaurant down the way was easier to get to than we expected and dining on the plaza at the port was delightful! The breakfast was also varied and very good - options and plenty of food. Location of hotel was ideal - out of the walls, but in the old town still. Welcomed having no stairs to navigate. Short walk to everything - once we figured out the path!

air circulation was a problem - window and door on the same side of the room,. Of course, there was air conditioning, but we liked having door open - just a bit non-private that way.

Nice room. Good enough location, although not much street light in and around that street. Friendly staff, especially Ajla, who explained everything very well.

Although the location is good and close to the old town and all, there was one situation when we felt unsafe. The streets are not well lit in the night. One night, on the way back to our room, some scammer identified as the police and wanted to question us. We were alert enough to understand that he was fake and somehow managed to slip away. It felt very uneasy. Not the fault of the hotel of course, but that was a bit of a dampener for our stay and our trip.

Great location - charming neighborhood and close to the old city center. The rooms were very clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly.

No complaints. Just keep in mind that the rooms are in a pedestrian only zone and the buildings are old so many stairs and cobblestones to manage with luggage. The neighborhood's old world charm makes it all worth it - but it is definitely something to consider if you have mobility issues. Also, the rooms and apartments are spread out in multiple buildings - they are near each other but may not be adjacent.
