Huge and very clean rooms, great view of the sea and very comfortable beds. The gym was one of the best hotel gyms we’ve used and it also had a great view. The pool area is very nice and great to have 3 pools. The hotel location was good, a lot quieter than the old town but still surrounded by good local restaurants and cafés. The staff were amazing when I told them I was a bit sick, even the cleaning lady gave me more tissues and water.

Small criticisms: The hotel itself is well equipped but lacking a bit of atmosphere- the Kokau bar area, for example, was well decorated but bright white lights ruined the vibe. The coffee area outside looked into some unfinished concrete. The main disappointment was the area around the hotel, it is like a building site with uneven pavements with holes in them. The beach is full of construction materials and you get hassled by street vendors (but this is standard for Cartagena).

We stayed at the 2 Bedroom Residences and it was perfect for our family of 4. Both bedrooms were ensuite, and was at a nice size. Bathrooms were very spacious, and the living room was well furnished and big. Pool was small, but nice. No umbrellas but luckily it was not that sunny that day. Restaurant Kokau is fantastic, live music on Thu-Sat which was great, but a bit on the pricey side. Friendly staff, Good breakfast with plenty of options. Location is excellent, close to old town, right next to Bocogrande Mall, which was very useful for mini shopping and grooming. They also had plenty of food courts with many options. View - to die for!! beautiful sunset everyday right from your private balcony

Kitchen space was good, but not fully equipped. Coffee maker didn't work at all, kitchen utensils were very dirty and old, and not sufficient enough. They didn't even provide a towel nor a dustbin the kitchen, so we had use the bin in the bathrooms. Anyway, we didn't use it! Could have been useful to have a kettle in the room as well.

Overall, my experience was amazing as usual. The staff is amazing and the door greeting staff and service crew are exceptional. Everyone e is very helpful and accommodating! All of your staff on the first floor greeting travelers coming and going make for a warm, comforting and welcoming atmosphere. I truly enjoy this! They deserve recognition!

The only challenge that I have encountered on my last 3 stays was problems with check in. The staff is amazing! Always a challenge checking in due to problems with the reservation, but the staff is always trying to help. I enjoy working with Rita when she there, she is a great problem solver!

This hotel is hands down one of the best. We had a 2 bedroom suite. It was amazing. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The view was amazing....the balcony was a great are to sit and relax! Loved the welcome baskets left on two different occasions. The staff was amazing and helpful with our daytrips and restaurant selection. This location is right next door to the mall.....this mall have everything you need. (from food to any items)

Only one issue: Check in was for 3pm. Our room was not ready during check in. We were not able to check in until after 7pm. The hotel did compensate us with breakfast for the week which was nice.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in, excellent value for money at 550€ for 3 nights. My friends paid substantially more and booked the Regency club rooms (which are undoubtedly better) and access to the club, for which I paid an extra 30€ a day for. The room was on the 18th floor with nice views across the harbour, it was a huge room, spotlessly clean and all the facilities one would expect from a Hyatt. I found the staff to be courteous & professional and all spoke excellent English. The drinks at the pool bar were well priced bearing in mind you are in a 5-star hotel, cheap by most 5-star standards. The only negative is the main pool was closed for renovation, but that is no one's fault, but it could have been mentioned when I confirmed the booking. That aside, an excellent 3 night stay in the wonderful Cartagena

The hotel is well located and offers a wide range of services. It is a quick ride away from the old town and just across the beach. Rooms are quite big and everything in there is of great quality (bedding, linens, etc). The staff is extremely nice and professional and this is valid for all the staff! I have not seen anything other than smiling faces from the people holding the door for you at the entrance all the way to the cleaning staff and the receptionists. The facilities are really good but the niceness and professionalism of the staff is really what left us a mark!

Breakfast was okay, way to expensive for what it offers. I don't think they should charge that much for such an okay breakfast. I've been in hotels in Asian countries with better facilities and amenities. They don't offer toothpaste, toothbrush, combs, slippers... nothing besides the basics. I'm used to going to hotels and being offer at least a pair of slippers so it really didn't impress me. Overall okay.

We spend 5 amazing days in this hotel. We did chose to upgrade our room on our arrival (junior suite to residency suite). BEST CHOICE EVER. We did get the room 3902 (on the 39th floor) which is located at one of the corners of the hotel. The room had a balcony and an amazing view on the sea side but we also had the view of the bay(bedroom window). Definitely the best room. We had breakfast and a little snack (free drinks and snacks from 16h-18h) in the afternoon included. The infinity pool on the 14th floor was definitely our favorite spot. From here you have an amazing view of the sunset. The food in the hotel is really good too. Special thanks to Fernanda who daily served us with drinks and food. A special thanks also to Mayra from the reception, who helped us to choose the right excursions. We were allowed to keep our room on check out day until 15h. Which allowed us to enjoy fully the whole morning. As our flight was really late in the afternoon, we were allowed to stay at the pool and use the special lockers with showers to enjoy some more hours in the sun. Special feature is the drying machine for swimsuit in these locker. The location of the hotel was also great. In front is a big beach and the old town is like a 15 min walk. Next to the hotel is also a big shopping mall. I definitely recommend this hotel! Thanks to the whole Hyatt team!

The only thing I would recommend is getting more shadow places (umbrella‘s, plants,&&&) around the pool.

Swimming pools were excellent 3 separate, 2 good for swimming, all areas of hotel were very clean & staff were polite, smiling & happy to help. The bed & pillows were extremely comfortable, we opted for the 1 bedroom Residence on 41st floor which had a large fridge, balcony with amazing bay views spectacular day and night. The Residence rooms have a different elevator which is always available. We did not take breakfast with the room however we ate breakfast twice it was a huge spread & good value for money.

The air conditioning in the bedroom was quite noisy. There was construction work ongoing on the main restaurant that did not affect our experience at all.

Service was excellent from the moment we arrived to front desk Gabriela offered an upgrade that would give us every day snacks from 4 to 6 and a more private area that would be also great in service and quality of food and drinks. In general the stay was very good.

The only part that would need an improvement is the bellhop service when you arrive, usually the people at the door helps you with the luggage but this wasn't the case in your hotel.
