The swimming pool and welness area are excellent. Breakfast is delicious and has a lot of options. Staff is extremely helpful and helped us with any extra questions we had. The spa tub is a very nice way to relax.

The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. Superficially it was clean, but there were old rose petals under the bed, which I presume was from previous guests and the bedlinnen had some stains in places. In previous visits, this was not the case, so I assume this was a one time thing, hence I won't deduct too many points here.

Amazing views through large windows in high floor, wonderful swimming pool with amazing views through the large windows, beautiful ceiling in the swimming pool (attached picture) which was wonderful to see while swimming on back, swimming pool long opening hours, comfortable bed, very good breakfast, very clean, ironing board, large towels in swimming pool, easy reach by public transport, boardrooms for business meetings with free non alcoholic drinks and coffee, good restaurant.

The beds were great, the room spacious &clean. Wellness was good with long opening hours. The food is excellent (breakfast is abundant, fresh, good quality,… & also restaurant food all delicious). Interior looks wonderful with many details to discover (the children’s toilet, the movie in the elevator,…) Convenient to park car in underground and take any of the frequent buses into the city. Staff were all super helpfull.

Despite having paid for a deluxe room there was no bottle of water, no slippers, and the hair dryer could’ve been a better one.

The staff members were very kind and patient, Especially Shaniz- in which helped us with changing rooms due to our criteria (of need due to disability) Breakfast had wide varieties to eat from for anyone, and very delicious, been there for 6 days and the options were never boring! The parking is underground in which was very comfortable in rainy days, and cheap.

Bed was a little soft, but is induvial per person.

I had a wonderful stay at this property, where the late-night access to the sauna and pool added a relaxing touch to the evening. The room was impeccably clean, and the in-room sauna functioned perfectly, providing a luxurious experience alongside the superb bubble bath in the quickly heating bathtub. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall comfort of my stay. Breakfast was a delightful affair, offering a variety of tasty and filling options to start the day right.

No USB plugs or outlets that I was aware of in my room.

The bedroom was very spacious, comfortable and the bathroom was exceptional, we loved the bubble bath. Everything was high spec! Having the spa facilities on the top floor was a lovely way to relax. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice and very good value. The evening meals were very good too, having the option to add free chips and vegetables was a nice touch! The staff waiting on us both evenings could not do enough for us. We felt very well looked after and relaxed! Getting to Utrecht on the tram which is very close by was a bonus! We will certainly be booking a Van De Valk Hotel again, We have stayed at the Tiel hotel and can say the same about their facilities! Highly recommended.

Breakfast choice was fantastic and the scrambled eggs were delicious. Eat as much as you like - all lovely food and so much to choose from. Nice that bar snacks could be ordered instead of formal dining. Lovely outside seating area, perfect for the sunny weather. Staff were all very helpful and lovely.

The lifts were VERY dark inside ! Couldn’t see my own feet…. Not good for anyone with a visual impairment. The inside of hotel was beautiful but also a bit dark .. lighter walls would have made it feel much bigger.

As usual, the room was incredibly clean, the bathtub was great to relax in after a long day at the convention. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and it changed up a little bit every morning to give us more choice.

I was hoping we'd have the mini fridge in our room but we didn't this time, which was unfortunate

The hotel has an amazing wellness center with 3 saunas and a big swimming pool on the 20th floor. I enjoyed the fact that it was open the whole day so you take a swim before breakfast and after a long day. The breakfast itself was one of the best I have ever had in a hotel.

There is nothing I would like to complain about but booking.com is making me write so many words in this field which I find an overkill. Why do we always have to find something to complain about? Please, do something about it.

Fabulous hotel on outskirts of Utrecht. Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent facilities including a swimming pool on 19th floor - wonderful views. Our room was fantastic - spacious, clean, with amazing views. The breakfast was one of the best we've ever had in a hotel. Onsite parking was convenient. The bus stop that takes you into the city is only a few minutes walk away. The journey takes 10 minutes and buses run every 5-10 minutes. Would definitely stay here again.
