Honestly the best place I have ever stayed on Koh Chang. Super friendly people, beautiful little houses, great atmosphere and nature. And they were also so good with our kids, special thanks to Nuy ;)!

It’s a 15 min scooter ride to different villages, but in return it’s more relaxed and remote - which we really appreciated.

Amazing place situated right by the beach. The bungalows felt very new and in great condition. Such friendly staff. Great breakfast. If you are going to another island like Koh Kood or Koh Mak, they drive you to the beach where the drivers from boat company comes to pick you up.

Right at the end of Klong Kloi beach, a quiet resort with 27 little huts. Getting there by taxi / scooter it feels remote and really in the jungle but it's an easy walk along the beach to several cafés and restaurants all offering sun loungers and a change of scene. There's also a minimart behind Klong Kloi cafe/ Rim Ray for snacks, fresh fruit, milk. Tropical's on-site BBQ and fireshow is a fun evening.

Not enough sun loungers fir the number of guests, creates a bit of possessiveness. Really hard mattress, typical of Thailand but rough on the hips! Breakfast seemed a bit pricey at 300 baht per person, but if it's not in your package you can stroll up the beach for eggs, bacon, toast or dinner-plate-sized pancakes for about 120 baht. This resort seemed suited to those who keep themselves to themselves.

The resort is on a beautiful beach. There might be a few rocks here and there in the water, but that didn't bother us much. Staff is great, always tying to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. Rooms are great as well, you can almost step out from the room and jump straight into the sea.

The resort is the last property on the wester-southern end of the island. Last 900m of road to the resort is unpaved, so it will be tricky to get to - living here and not having rented a car or scooter will be a challenge.

Such a nice accomodation. Just be careful when you go to the sea, there are a lots of small stones in the sea.Therefore I recommend to take water shoes. Everyrhing was clean and amazing personal. There is a bit problem with driveway. Taxi usually does not arrive directly to the resort because of a worse driveway. if you want to take a taxi you have to walk 500 meters on the beach to the main way or you can pay cca 500 baths more and taxi can come to the resort. The resort is very quite place so I very recommend for people who want to enjoy relaxing holiday.

Wonderful little spot. Right on the beach, super quiet (unless you're right next to the car park). Spacious comfy rooms with everything you might need - from coffee to an umbrella. Proper bed matress. Glass water bottles - no plastic (though a water refill station would be a nice step towards eco-friendly solutions. Buffet breakfast - a little basic, and no healthy options, but it's nice to have choices, and eat at your own pace. Good fruit selection, too. Espresso machine. Great views. Chill vibes. Massage on the beach. Kayaks for rent and not far to paddle to the most beautiful beach on the island. Location. Nice for beach or jungle walks. Plenty of food options nearby. Sweet and accommodating staff (some frown more than smile, but remain professional at all times). Definitely a win.

Dead reef in front of the resort - wear shoes to swim or walk further right. It's close to bang bao harbour so water not the cleanest (though not too bad early in the morning before thy big boats leave the port). No healthy options at breakfast (soy or coconut milk is so widely available in Thailand, MSG is really not necessary, and raw veggie/salad bar would be nice). Otherwise not a lot to complain about - great place!

Tropical is on Klong Kloi beach, right at the very end of the road on the southern most beach on Koh Chang. The bungalows are spacious with large comfortable beds and the air-conditioning works very well & is quiet. The photographs of the resort are accurate & up to date. Whilst they do not have a restaurant currently, breakfast is provided at the Coco Chacha restaurant just a 50m. walk on the beach & is excellent! The surrounding area is well kept & although the beach is a little rocky in front of Tropical, it's just a short walk to find perfectly sandy spots. As well as Coco Chacha restaurant, there are others a short walk along the beach. Cholly, the manager is a wonderful asset to the resort, as is Kong Tub & all the staff are friendly & helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. If you need supplies and drinks for your fridge, then I suggest you shop in Bang Bao before you check in or hire a scooter from them to get around.

Breakfast excellent,great choices every day, Shirley on Reception a Diamond so helpful, Madan fantastic on bar at breakfast, he always greated you with a Smile so understanding and helpful..helped us many times a very good young professional person…all the staff were excellent..thanks from Stefan and Nanthanee,,you made our stay perfect

Shower electric heater needs upgraded cut out after a minute ..put new units in please not expensive as I have fitted many

the peaceful forest and beautiful ever changing shores will give you the perfect opportunity to relax, contemplate and be. There’s the cutest dog Brownie who hangs out here, let him come to you if you are dog person and you will be rewarded by his infinite love! I even extended my stay to be around him as much as I could! And the staff are truly amazing, kind professional and ready to calmly navigate unpredictable situations and help you, like when the snorkeling tour forgot me on an island! stay here and let the place connect with you!

mosquitos but nothing about the place, you are promised the tropical and mosquitos are part of it at least in rainy season

Lovely resort at the far end of a beautiful stretch of beach. The huts were clean & quiet, away from the crowds. It’s set amongst the jungle but right on the beach with lots of shady areas to chill. Lovely little bar on the beach & the staff do their best to look after you. Reception staff very helpful & always happy. Breakfast is basic but substantial. The local dog, brownie was the cutest thing, very friendly, gentle & well mannered. Just a walk away, down the beach are restaurants & bars. No noise & very peaceful place to stay. I was there during Christmas & they had a Christmas tree & decorated the tables, making Christmas Day feel special
