I came for a week and stayed for a month! I absolutely loved Lanta Happy Hill - everything about it was just perfect for me. It essentially became my home for a month. I was there in the low season so Koh Lanta was quieter which was exactly what I wanted. The weather was beautiful for the most part - blue skies and baking hot - although there were a couple of showers as you expect in low season. The beach was about 400m away so easy just to head down there for a few hours. I was made to feel thoroughly welcomed by the owner and as a solo traveller, I felt safe, secure and comfortable. I loved everything about Lanta Happy Hill - the clean, spacious rooms, sitting on the balcony amid all the greenery, the location and the people.

I stayed 3 weeks at Lanta Happy Hill and I absolutely loved it! The cozy bungalow, the quiet & lovely garden with the squirrels and the friendly staff made me feel like home. This place has everything I wished for: a beautiful beach (just 5 min walk) and lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood (walking distance). And last but not least: I’m so happy to have met Ying, who is an amazing host and also a beautiful soul! She really made my stay unforgettable. I will definitely come back!

The best part of the stay was the host / owner. One of the nicest people I have met in all of Thailand! She was personable, kind, helpful and just so happy to have me there. I loved getting to know her and she made sure my stay was so phenomenal!! The property itself was really cute and beautifully maintained. There was a cozy reception area with lots of information and drinking water. The grounds were beautiful and the cottages each lovely!! Cute and friendly cats too, but they didn’t get up in your area id you didn’t want to pet them. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Great beds!

The rooms are perfectly maintained with beautiful furnishings. The beds are super comfortable and the property is just a few minutes walk from the beach and there are lots of restaurants in the surrounding area. The owners are so kind and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. They are happy to sit and chat with you about local life and have a long list of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. I was even given a fruit plate after checking out whilst I was waiting for my taxi. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Staying here was the best decision we made during our trip. Accommodation is great - very quiet area, yet close to the beach (like a 3 minute walk) and around 2-3 minute walk to amazing cafes with quite cheap and best food we had in Thailand (highly recommend Yawee). The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed is comfy, AC is working perfectly. The beach near Lanta Happy Hill is better than a long beach (Long Beach had tiny jelly fishes). We also rented a bike here. Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful and Comfy Our stay at this place was absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach, and the surroundings are stunning, with beautiful lush vegetation all around. The room was gorgeous, very comfortable, and most importantly, spotlessly clean. What truly made the experience unforgettable were the people who run the place—they are incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything you need. We had an amazing time here and would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended!

We loved staying here!! Our hosts were so lovely and took care of our every need. We stayed in a bungalow with a porch that had full shade during the whole day (and we are pretty sure all bungalows had this). The breakfast options were amazing with a very cheap price for what you received (too much food honestly!) with very good quality. We would have liked to extend our visit here but we couldn't because they were fully booked for all the right reasons! We recommend booking here and staying one more night than you would think :)

The owner is such a lovely host and takes care of all your needs during the stay. The bungalows are super comfortable and very spacious, also loved the patio. Highly recommend this place!

It felt like a small home where we could retreat peacefully after our adventures on the island. Jing was a great host! They recommended a lot of places to visit and great restaurants to eat. Things are arranged with so much care and convenience, with very reasonable price. We loved it!!

The shower water pressure was in our house very low. But we also didn’t mention it to the staff, so maybe they could have done something about it… for us it worked fine enough not to complain.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Ying and her family are excellent hosts, everyone is super friendly. The huts are very cute, spacious and clean. The hotel is located near a nice beach with good bars and restaurant options. It is also near the main road with lots of restaurant and cafe options nearby. We arranged all our excursions through Ying who pointed us to reasonably priced, popular options. We also rented scooters through the hotel. We couldn't ask for more!
