I booked this stay remotely from the UK for my parents and was genuinely impressed. The customer service from start to finish was outstanding. Angel and Lynette, in particular, were warm, professional, and genuinely caring. They even surprised my dad with a birthday cake and helped extend the stay during a credit card issue, showing incredible patience and flexibility. Coordinating from across the globe was made effortless thanks to their attentiveness and grace.
Nothing at all. I don’t write reviews often but this really is a wonderful place and great value for money - the staff that work here really are the main asset to the hotel!

Did they forced me to pay the fine for a trash of my cigaritte filter in the our trash bin. I explain why i had that thing in the trash but they insist that i smoked in the bedroom. According to them they smelled everywhere in the room either i had a balcony. If im going to smoke in our room i will do that in our balcony not inside of our room, and i will flush it in the toilet. But no i chosed to throw it in the bin because i had that filter in my pocket when we entered baguio city. ( common sense ) I told them what is the story of that trash but its for nothing. The most disgusting is they open up all the trash we had in our room to find an evidence.

Very attentive, smart and helpful staff, including the guards who never failed to smile a greeting and offer to carry bags. Impressed by the quality of the bed linen, plus the size and comfort of the bed and pillows. Location was perfectly convenient, an easy walk to the park (which was always buzzing with action), night market, bus station and SM shopping centre. Enjoyed all the cold options for breakfast, but the hot dishes were luke warm at best, even when we arrived very early. The hot waffles were gorgeous. Enjoyed the ambience, decor, lighting and setting of the cafe bar area. Fabulous chandeliers in the reception area. Reception was very happy to store our cases for us free of charge for the afternoon.
The hot food buffet servers were left open and unheated, so the 'hot' food was cool or cold. Fried eggs were cooked and left to go cold, even though there was an egg chef who could have cooked them to order. Sparrows occasionally flew over the buffet area. Our bathroom had numerous minor maintenance issues (eg various fittings loose from the wall), plus a bedside light not working. Nobody refreshed the room during the day. Would expect more than one toilet roll in the bathroom upon arrival. Only one chair on the balcony. Overall, I don't think it was worth the money we paid

During our 2-night stay: The room was great and included everything as advertised, such as hairdryer and water boiler, but the flat iron had to be requested. Additional pillows could be requested. It also had an open wardrobe. The view from the balcony was nice. The free breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of options, and the menu changed daily. The hotel didn't have an elevator, but the staff were happy to help with the luggage. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The only surprise was that the service fee was not included in the online booking and I had to pay about 22% more than the advertised price.

The location is within walking distance from Burnham Park, Harrison Street Night Market, Baguio City Market and Session Road. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. The room is spacious enough for 4 people. There is a water dispenser in the hallway so no need to buy additional bottled water. We also love the pastries in Olive Cafe.
Although there is an elevator located in the connecting building, the stairsteps in our building that leads to the cafe are quite steep. The noise from the club house where there was karaoke could be heard in our room.

It has quick access to Burnham Park for the early morning walk. There are a lot of restaurants beside the hotel. The staff is very accommodating and will help you get a cab. Our newly renovated room had ample space for our bags and clothes. The bed and pillows were comfy and big. The breakfast buffet had a diverse range from typical Filipino viands to a more continental breakfast style.
I think this hotel is a bit on the pricier side compared to other hotels in the area. There's also construction in front of the hotel so it can get slippery. We also had to climb two flights of stairs to reach our room. The water heater in our room was not working. I also wish there was better lighting in the breakfast hall, it was too dim for me. It would be great if there were more vegetarian options for the breakfast buffet.

The accessibility of the hotel’s location. Staff were courteous and helpful. The buffet breakfast is good though few are the choices. Hot chocolate should be included not only coffee.
No elevator to easily access the floor where the rooms are and difficulty going down the stairs especially when carrying baggages. Repairs which are on going it creates noise which is annoying.

I am very pleased with the staff and manager at the Venus Hotel. They are incredibly accommodating and friendly, especially toward my mother who has a disability. They always make sure she is comfortable in our room. They serve very good food during our stay I especially love the homemade ensaymada. I chose this place because it's accessible in a tourist place like Burnham Park, Night Market, Session road, and a 15 - 20mins drive-in to Camp John Hay horseback riding.
when we stay here the road is under construction, but I guess they want to improve more in their facility.

Friendly hotel staff. We were particularly grateful for the hot shower since the accomation we stayed at years ago did not have it. We checked out early, but our van service (not related to the hotel) arrived 2 hours late. Since the room was cleaned by the time we were informed, we can't return to the room. The receptionist provided alternatives for us, such as storing our luggage, so we could either return to the breakfast area or explore since we are close to parks and etc. We chose to stay in the breakfast area and got to chat with their talented singer during her break. The buffet breakfast has a good selection, from filipino breakfast to bread and waffles, fruits and salad, etc. We were very satisfied with their services.
The part of the hotel that we stayed in is under construction, so there is no elevator, unfortunately. No disruptive sounds, though, so we were able to rest well.

The location beside Burnham Park makes it strategic. The room is quite clean and the bed is very comfortable so a good night's sleep is assured. Water dispenser on floors for refill. Breakfast buffet was delicious with wide variety. The staff are very helpful. Olive Cafe is on the premises which has good food and a good view of the trees of Burnham Park.
The AC in the room was very noisy and cannot be turned off (lost knob) so it was a good thing that the thermostat knob when turned low quietened the appliance. Water pressure in the toilet was not very good. Front desk can be slow. Also, wayfinding around the hotel with its three connected buildings can be a maze.
