Kee's Hotel offers excellent value for money, combining historic charm, top-notch facilities, and warm hospitality at a fair price. The beautifully designed rooms exude character, and the bathrooms offer a touch of luxury, making for a truly refreshing and relaxing experience. The vintage carpets and furniture create a nostalgic ambiance that transports you back in time. The facilities are top-notch, including a stunning bar with a cozy fireplace—a perfect spot to enjoy an Irish pint and delicious food. The afternoon tea option during lunch adds a delightful touch, offering a taste of Irish tradition. The staff are exceptional, especially the housekeeping team, whose warm smiles and friendly demeanor make you feel genuinely welcome. This hotel perfectly blends history, comfort, and a genuine Irish experience.

The Wi-Fi connection could have been better in some areas. The connection is good in the majority of the places however some areas have weak Wi-Fi connections.

It had a lovely homely atmosphere, my only gripe would have been a lack of seating in the bar area, it meant we had to sit in the foyer area & would have preferred to stay in the atmosphere of the bar & cosy fire. The food was great apart from vegetables & turkey/ham they seemed watery as if they were defrosted from freezer.

It was far too warm, we turned off the radiator in our room & used the fan provided but it was still very warm. The bath itself is quite high at sides & although it does have a gray handle near the taps end there isn’t one at the end of the bath where you step out. Just a little bit dangerous & could do with an extra grab rail to steady yourself as you step down onto the floor.

Accommodation was good and very reasonably priced.

Breakfast was very disappointing. Had to go chasing everything. Tea, toast, milk .. Also had to stand for ages waiting for eggs & bacon, along with quite a few other guests. Was only 9:30 so not late.

First of all we asked for a room for some one with limited mobility, and we were given a lovely room with a walk-in shower, and it looked out to the front which was what I really liked. The room was really big and took my wife's rolator no problem.

To be totally honest, as my wife was on a rolator, the slope on the floor was a slight problem, but that was also the charm of the hotel, and I hope it is never changed. Also, the slope up from the car park was challenging, but that is nobody's fault

I had a good and enjoyable stay here. I was traveling by motorcycle and there was ample parking facilites and I always felt the bike was safe and secure. My room was a really decent size and was comfortable. The bar area was decent and service was always good. The self service breakfast was plentiful, well presented, well cooked and service was good. The hotel is close to a number of bars and shops and is a pretty convenient place to stay. All in all a decent stay.

The water pressure in the shower was very poor - other than that there wasn't anything that I didn't like. The key question is always would you stay here again, and the answer is that I certainly would if I was travelling this way again

This was a lovely hotel with a great buffet breakfast. Dinner was also quite pleasant. The hotel has obviously been well loved and beautifully maintained. Parking was convenient and the elevator was much appreciated. This was in the middle of our trip, so the laundry option was also much appreciated. This property met all our needs, and the location in County Donegal made it a great touring base.

This was the third time that we have stayed at Kee's, we really like the place. It is like a traditional hotel well in fact it is a traditional Hotel/Inn. The rooms are comfortable, nice bar with open fire and the food in both the bar and restaurant is good and reasonably priced. Plenty parking space adjacent and behind the hotel.

Almost certain that we booked two twin rooms (Maybe I didn't) but we got two doubles It made no difference to us and I am sure that we would have been accommodated had we requested a change. Maybe no harm to highlight your preference in the special request box. There are renovations in progress which had no impact on our stay.

Staff were brilliant. A special mention to the young Bartender, Colin, who makes the best Cocktails in Donegal! Food was amazing.

The bathroom had a shower over the bath, but was a very high bath, which made it dangerous to step in & out of, with no handrail for assistance. The man playing music on Sunday from 8pm was absolutely awful. The music on Saturday night and Sunday afternoons was fabulous.

Nice tradition hotel in the centre of Stranorlar. Room was clean with a view of the street. Plenty of cafes/restaurants/take aways within a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Bar was nice with attentive staff and traditional irish live music at the weekend. Breakfast was a buffet with many choices. I would stay here again.

Only minor things. * No chair in the room. * The chrome had come off the plug hole in the bathroom sink (simply and cheap enough to replace that). * The bar was busy for the live music. Not enough seats for the mainly elderly clientele.

Gorgeous hotel, lots of character - the restaurants food is incredible, absolutely delicious, would highly recommend - the room was very spacious - there's a lovely pub next door called The Snug which serves really nice cocktails for just €9.50

The receptionist who greeted us was rude, and she tried to charge us for the room which we had already paid for - also when she asked what time we wanted breakfast booked in for, we said 10, but when we arrived down at 10, the lady at breakfast said we'd been booked in for 10:30 so we'd have to come back in a half hour
