From the minute we drove up the drive I knew we would love our stay, a wave from the groundsman and a field of sheep greeted us and the easy assess parking to the bnb was an added bonus. We were early, but headed to the reception area, which is inside a cute little shop with lots of goods available, we were greeted by a couple of staff, who were chatty and seemed happy to be there and willing to chat! Even though we were early we were fortunate that our room was empty and we were able to get straight in the room. Our room was in the Piggery, a large ensuite room, with a chair and desk aswell as a little wardrobe. The bed was huge and very comfy (best night sleep ever) and the bathroom spacious! We honestly couldn't have asked for better. We took a walk around the grounds, it really was perfect! The complimentary water, tea/coffee and biscuits were also a great touch and everything was available for top up in the entrance too! The breakfast in The Shed was exceptional and included in our stay, the added bonus of having a table reserved was brilliant and again the staff were so friendly. It really was the best place and we've already recommended it to family and friends! We stayed here to visit Diddly Squat Farmshop and The farmers dog, which is about a 20 min drive through the most beautiful countryside!
Absolutely nothing!

We stayed in the B&B (breakfast included in the price) provided in the nearby and excellent Farm café which is also open for lunch and snacks until 4pm. There is also access across the farm to woodland, safe and accessible walks/activity on site and a small shop for necessities. The food was lovely - locally produced, very good quality and plentiful choice. We had a small problem with our initial room which was sorted quickly and generously by our hosts late evening. Throughout the stay our hosts checked we were happy with everything, all staff were also polite and friendly. Very good facilities and lots of do.
Everything was great, the hosts obviously thought very carefully about the comfort safety and happiness of the guests

We had a wonderful overnight stay in the piggery B&B. The room was beautiful and clean, and smelt so fresh when we walked through the door. Plenty of coffee/milk/ biscuits in the room and if anything needed replenishing there was stock that you could help yourself too next to the room. The B&B is set on a gorgeous farm in such a quiet rural location. The old farm where you have breakfast in the morning is warm and welcoming as were the members of staff who we interacted with on our stay. I had the granola for breakfast which was large and filling, my partner had the fry up which kept us both full all day! I would without hesitation recommend this property to anyone and would stay here again in a heartbeat! The booking process was easy and straightforward and the email information prior to arrival makes the check in and check out process so stress free. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to be back again soon!
We were looked after in every way we have no negatives to write!

The location was great -The room was very clean & the bed was super comfie. The breakfast choice excellent & the staff could not have been more helpful.
I stayed in room 2 in the Piggery -there was signs of a moth infestation, as the carpet near the door had been eaten away. The door did lock but not with a very robust lock , so I do think this needs addressing so clients feel more secure. Obviously it was incredibly hot that night & the rooms don’t have air con. I opened all the windows to sleep, but had to prop lots of cushions against the curtains to stop all the wasps coming in!

Everything! 🤣 This place was the whole package! The location was excellent, so peaceful and quiet. The grounds were very well kept and accessible. The animals that were around the farm were great. Lovely to see them all. The Piggery B & B was excellent. Themed room and brilliant space. Comfortable bed and fabulous en suite facilities. The Old Shed restaurant was amazing. So warm and clean. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. The included breakfast was outstanding and filling - we didn't eat for the rest of the day! We took our two dogs with us, no extra charge to stay. They were made to feel welcome everywhere on site and we just know they had the bestest time too. What more can we say, but thank you so much for our wonderful stay at Banbury Farm. We will absolutely be back again.....!!
We didn't stay for longer! 🤣🤣

We booked a weekend away at Banbury Hill Farm as a baby moon before our little one arrives in March. We had our two little dogs with us and were really pleased that there was no extra charge for them. The hosts also arranged extra pillows for me and were responsive to any messages we sent before coming. The room was clean and cosy with a nice comfy bed and nice extras like tea, coffee and bottled water. We loved the breakfast, very tasty and good selection. The place is very dog friendly and we loved wandering around the forest and seeing all the farmyard animals. We definitely want to stay again once baby arrives. Thank you!
The only very minor thing we noticed was that the cold tap in the bathroom ran warm. However this wasn’t an issue as we had bottled water provided.

Large room which was clean and warm. Bottles of water provided and you could help yourself to more as required. Easy to park and to let yourself into the room. Good breakfast freshly cooked to order.
Bed was far too hard which made sleeping very difficult. Would have been good to meet owner or manager when arriving and to have a point of contact to check if all was OK with the room. Need an outside light in the car park as difficult to see. Had to read info. displayed in entrance to find out about breakfast as no one greeted you when arriving. Info said no room service to make beds but when we returned after breakfast the beds had been made and fresh towels given although the latter hadn't been requested. Need 2 hand towels rather than just the one.

The view was amazing, and the breakfast each morning was excellent, with a great selection of cooked and continental options in the Old Shed. The facilities were all very clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful. There are some lovely walking routes nearby, and the town of Charlbury is not far from the site (approx. 1 mile). Make sure you bring your walking boots as there is a big downhill walk to the town (followed by a big hill to walk back up on the way back).
The one thing that would improve the facilities is having a drinking water dispenser/drinking water tap that guests can use in the B&B. There were little bottles of water left in the foyer of the B&B building, however when they were gone, they were gone (especially in the heat!). We ended up buying some big bottles of water from the co-op in Charlbury to fill our water bottles up with, and this was only possible because we drove.

Loved it from the moment we arrived, we were well informed of the location of the Piggery B&B and how to check in. The room was lovely and clean, loved all the detailing within the room, from the pictures, the feature tiles in the bathroom and the useful information in the porch of places to visit, eat and extra amenities. The onsite, shop, restaurant/cafe is a great added bonus. We are definitely excited about planning another trip. This is a great find. The owners have thought of everything, and you can see the thought and effort that goes into running this fabulous place.
Nothing we didn't like.

The room was clean and the bed very comfortable! We also enjoyed the breakfast and the interaction with the farm animals. It was so peaceful!
It's not that I didn't like but more so that things were missing. They said they provided toiletries, that wasn't true. We just had a hand soap dispenser. Also we got one face towel for two. I usually use the second one for my hair and the other for the face. Also, the shower could use a door. The shower water went everywhere in the bathroom and it was slippery afterwards. The room was small and there was no mini fridge (think it would make sense for that price)
