It was very comfortable staff were very friendly and and helpful the hotel was lovely i only had one problem and that is with the evening meal I think the choices could have been better .the starters were very poor and it would have been nice to have steak and chicken on the menu instead of all the burgers you had on there but I will say your lamb shank was very good. We did not have a sweet because there was not much choice.

It was nice with the balconies it was just a same we were on the ground floor we did have outside space which had trees a round it so when we sat outside we could not see over the trees would have been nice to see the golfers. If we come again I will be asking for a first floor room .

Lady on reception was really welcoming. Room was a great size. Perfect for what we needed for the night.

Couldn't use the patio area due to wasp Infestation. On arrival no spa treatments available as must be pre booked. We were unaware. Charged extra due to them not having my husbands details down as staying although they knew he was as had left a birthday card for him in the room. Lights didn't work on entrance to the room and on one side of the room. (We didn't complain but politely made them aware on leaving)

The hotel is in a fabulous location and rooms with a balcony overlooking the golf course, as we had, was great. The room was spacious, had a great shower, the bed was comfy and the place was clean. It was great to have the balcony to sit out on. Reception staff were helpful and the car park was big. Chipping Norton town is about a mile away and we used a taxi at night. Was a great base to explore the Cotswolds for 5 days.

We didn’t eat there but we did use the bar for drinks. The bar lacked atmosphere and was also very echoey when more people were in there. There are currently some renovations going on, so let’s hope the bar gets the treatment in decor to give it some character with better acoustics to make it cosier and more welcoming.

Location was excellent - we visited Clarksons farm and pub and it was ideal for an overnight stay. Had a holiday hotel vibe with a golf course behind. Rooms were very nice and I had a wrap around external garden over looking the golf course. In terms of the actual room one of the best I’ve stayed in. Breakfast was ok - old school filtered coffee not a fan but not a disaster.

Restaurant wasn’t great and was pricey - when the food came it was fine but the service seemed a bit chaotic to me. If I stay here again we will venture out for the evening meal. £70 for two of us with one drink seemed excessive.

Room is furnished to a high standard, modern and clean. Bed is comfortable. Sofa bed is easy to use. I used the Spa, but it's just a treatment room which needs advanced booking. Not many rooms, and not many therapists. Golf course is typical UK walking course. A nice place to stay for golf. For 3 nights, the hotel is fully booked with golfers and conferences attendees.

The hotel layout is kind of un-friendly, many stairs. Walk stairs 1 level to Restaurant and Bar, walk 2 levels to Spa and 3 levels to Gym. They do provide handicap/wheelchair lift though.

The property was so lovely, comfortable and peaceful. We were upgraded for free upon arrival which was so lovely as me and my partner were away for our birthdays. The room had so much space with a lovely patio overlooking the golf course. The room had everything you need including an ironing board, all utensils and crockery to cook with, dishwasher, washing machine etc. the reception staff were also very friendly. We had a wonderful night sleep, bed was very spacious and comfortable. The location is also perfect. A very relaxing night away.

Only downside was not much availability for spa treatments so book way in advance.

The staff absolutely went above & beyond to accommodate us when I made an error booking a spa treatment. Each individual staff member we saw or spoke with were helpful & friendly. Our room was clean & spacious and we both had a great night's sleep. We both used the spa facilities, I had a wellbeing massage and it was 80 minutes of bliss, it involved an upper body massage, facial and head massage. I would definitely recommend, I am now one refreshed mummy. We ate in the restaurant during the evening, the service was good and we enjoyed our food, a variety of meals to choose from and good value for money. We would definitely return

The reviews weren't great for this hotel but i booked none the less. We had 2 rooms which were both very large and spotlessly clean and very importantly - warm!!! The staff were helpful, the car parking was ample and the location was very handy. We only had breakfast in the hotel which was a good buffet. The tables were very large too which was good and also had a panoramic view of the golf course. I would gladly stay in this hotel again as it was a fantastic base for exploring the Cotswolds. If you want to spend all day in a hotel this is probably not the place as its very modern and functional but not a quirky characterful place like a boutique alternative may be. As i said though, large, clean, modern rooms with great accessibility too.

There was nothing i didnt like, it was good. There could be more facilities like a pool etc but we went to see the Cotswolds not to sit in the hotel all day.

I had a great one-night stay at this hotel in the Cotswolds. It was budget-friendly yet exceeded my expectations with how clean and spacious the room was. The added touch with the towel decorations/ rose petals made the special occasion that bit more special for us! The bed was comfortable, and the location was peaceful, perfect for a short getaway. While it’s not luxurious, it’s excellent value for money and a great option for a simple, no-frills stay. I’d definitely consider staying here again.

Honestly, there wasn’t much to dislike—unless you count the fact that leaving such a cozy, clean room after just one night felt a bit unfair! If the worst part of your stay is having to check out, you know you’ve found a good spot.

The studio with sofa bed is very spacious and well equipped for self catering, if you wanted to. Staff are friendly and professional. The kids play park and petting zoo next door was popular with small kids, but does have its own additional cost.

The spa was fully booked on all 3 days of our stay but the hotel didn't appear full... so spa capacity could be increased.
