Ed and Hester are incredibly gracious hosts. You are guests in their home and they make you feel as one of the family. They offered spot-on recommendations for dinner at several of the restaurants and pubs in the nearby towns and took great interest in our plans for touring the Cotswolds, offereing several valuable suggestions. A wonderful breakfast is prepared to your liking and on your timetable. The expansive views of the English countryside from this serene hilltop location can't be beat.

Future guests should know that while the guest room has an ensuite bath there is no shower. So, one must bathe. We knew this going-in, so it was not a problem, but some might find this a non-starter.

Exceptionally welcoming hosts, Ed and Hester, who treated you like family into their home which is set atop a hill with panoramic views of the glorious countryside. Nothing was too much trouble. A fabulously comfortable bed and a lovely home cooked full breakfast that set you up for the day. Highly recommended.

Nothing to not like.

The breakfasts were both excellent. The hosts were very welcoming and convivial. There was no problem in returning late on the second night (our daughter was singing with Fairport Convention at Cropredy).

The en-suite was separated from the bedroom by a curtain. We coped - the nonparticipant went out and sat on the stairs, until the participant had finished their business. Also the wi-fi code should have been included on the handout in the room.

Mine Hill House is a beautiful 300-year-old property. We were made to feel very welcome as if we had been invited guests. The breakfasts were gorgeous. The directions were clear, it would not be easy to find without the directions. All the contact with Edward and Hester before our stay was dealt with promptly.

There is no shower, but this was made clear in the property location.

This was an experience so different from any other we have had while on vacation. We relished the silence, with no sounds other than those from nature. Edward, Hester, and their daughters were very welcoming and they gave us wonderful suggestions for places to go during the day and where to eat in the evening. We had a lovely cup of tea and brownies upon arrival, overlooking the hillside. The home is truly lovely, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was gourmet!

The only downside was taking a bath rather than a shower, but we did know that in advance so it wasn't a surprise.

The breakfast was beautifully cooked with high quality ingredients.Hester,Edward and their family are so friendly ,nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome in their home. a cup of Tea in the kitchen with home made cake and a friendly chat on arrival started off our stay in lovely way. The only thing we would have liked is a shower but the beautiful building and wonderful hospitality made up for no shower.

Location perfect for a large equestrian event we were attending. Hester & Ed absolutely fantastic, breakfast amazing.

No shower only a bath with no tap extensions. We could use a jug for washing hair!!

From the moment we arrived at Mine Hill House we were made to feel so welcome and at home. Our room was cosy, clean and everything we needed for our weekend away. Hester, Edward and their lovely daughters were really helpful when it came to recommending places for us to see during our stay! We would highly recommend Mine Hill House to anyone looking for a wholesome & peaceful break and an amazing breakfast too! Stephanie & Stefan x

Amazing, family run by the kindest people and in an outstanding location (in the middle of fields, with outstanding views).

Traditional British taps and bathtub, which may make it challenging for some people. We did enjoy the experience though!

Welcomed into the family home by our hosts Ed and Helen. A pot of tea offered in the comfort of the cosy sitting room in front of a fire each day.. Very comfortable bedroom with lovely views over surrounding Country side and a comfy super king bed. Definitely guaranteed a good night sleep. A very tasty and filling breakfast in the dining room with a open fire, cosy and comfortable. Close to picturesque cotswolds villages and the cotswolds distillery. A lovely weekend, thankyou.
