Isabel lovely. House lovely. Breakfast 12/10......wonderful, couldn't have been better except perhaps cereal bowl not huge platter!!!!!! Wonderful duvet, so comfy but far too hot to use it. Helped my back by sleeping in it!! Mini fridge outside SO helpful. Lovely to meet you Isabel, thank you.

The tiny weeny loo and shower just inches away from the bed, with basin separate in the bedroom. Too close, too small, very inhibiting going to loo in the night....impossible not to disturb partner. The bed was fine, it just didn't suit my rather fragile back.....had 2 sleepless nights but that's not Isabel's fault. Would have appreciated bigger and fluffier towels!!!!

We simply don't have enough words to express how wonderful our stay at The Poplars was. Exceptional B&B, the most beautiful room with such wonderful finishing touches. Everywhere we looked we just said wow, amazing facilities, body wash, soap, shampoo and beautiful towels all provided. Lovely chilled water, coffee and tea, biscuits, it was marvellous. very clean and well presented, comfiest bed which was needed after a day at our friends wedding. Breakfast was superb, gorgeous fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, fresh juice, and the awesome full English, cooked to perfection and piping hot. The biggest shout out to Doogie the dude, such a beautiful boy, we got to play ball with this little bundle of fun, the most perfect added extra to our stay.

We liked everything, in fact we loved everything, there was not a single thing to dislike.

The property was lovely - I didn't realise we'd be in the main house when we booked but as we were the only guests, that was fine. The owner was very friendly and everything we needed was available to include shampoo in the shower. The breakfast choices were amazing and my husband was delighted with the full English that was included. I had a bespoke breakfast which was cooked perfectly.

As we set off early, we didn't receive the email about the key lock entry but as it happened, we rang anyway to give the owner our ETA and she told us then.

Very clean host so helpful and lovely breakfast was fab had a good sleep and lovely and clean and good parking spaces too and safe gated also Very cute dog also 🙂🙂🐶

Everything was good maybe the shared fridge could do with a note to make clear people leave there food in it and it’s not for other guests apart from that everything fine

Absolutely lovely inn. Great location with easy access to day trips into the Cotswold villages. Our charming hostess Isobel made us feel so welcome. She gave excellent recommendations for local restaurants, made sure our room was comfortable, and cooked to order a wonderful breakfast. Special shout out to sweet Doogie who entertained us with his ball.

We loved everything about this stay!

Location was perfect as just a stone's throw away from a family function. Electric entry gates to secure private parking. Lovely room with two comfy chairs, tv, tea making facilities. Super view. Extremely comfy beds. Amazing freshly cooked breakfast, with a choice of sitting in sunny conservatory or cosy dining room. Everything spotlessly clean.

We would have liked a bottle opener. We were given a small bottle of beer after the family party to have in the evening but unable to open it. We had a number for Isobel if anything was required but it didn't really warrant troubling her in the evening. It didn't impact on our stay, of course!

Fabulous breakfast, great location to explore the local area. Our stay was really good, we would certainly book again. Isabel is very friendly and her local knowledge is a bonus, although our room was small it was beautiful a super super break.

Exceptional stay for 3 nights here. Isobel was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The room was a good size, bed was very comfortable, everything we needed. The cooked breakfast was one of the best I've had. Overall, can't recommend this place enough. Would definitely return.

The photos really didn't do the room justice, it was a good size, exceptionally clean and the bed was very very comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous - the fresh fruit salad was so good and the cooked breakfasts used quite obviously quality ingredients, generous portions and absolutely beautifully cooked. The host is lovely - that rare quality of being both friendly and professional. Would recommend without hesitation!

I struggle to find anything we didn't like - if I'm being picky then the TV was a little small for the room and my husband would have liked the option of black pudding with his Full English. However these are truly minor details!

The property was ideally located down the road from the wedding venue we were attending. Access was easy & the owner accommodated our request to check in a bit earlier to freshen up before the event. Breakfast was extensive & delicious. The room was comfortable with pleasant views over countryside
