Very good breakfast with plenty of choice and quality produce Executive lounge had a good choice of food The hotel was located near to the town and the river making it easy for walking Overall this hotel was very clean and tidy with good amenities

I didn’t like the fact that you had to pay for parking when the hotel was surrounded by car parking slots. I was informed that this was because they had been sold off to a private company I was annoyed that there was an extra £3 charge for poached eggs Even though it was stated food and drink was available in the executive lounge from 6-9 the food was removed at 8

Location and facilities were ideal for our needs. very good service too.

We asked for a twin room and had received confirmation of our request accepted. On arrival we were told not to worry if there was a double bed in th room;' just let us know'. And there was! So back to reception where we were assured it would be sorted by the time we got back from an afternoon in town. It wasn't!! Back to reception where with profuse apologies we were told it would be sorted by the time we got back from evening meal and were issued a voucher for drink and a snack by way of part apology. It was eventually sorted however not sure it should take so much of our intervention. Disappointing start to our weekend away.

Staff were excellent. Booked a premium room with access to their Club Lounge. Room was very good however soon learned that it was an adjoining room and the family next door couldnt control their children i.e. lots of noise and banging on interconnectiong door. Was moved to another room which was perfect.

Club Lounge facilities which are extra include wine and snacks from 6 pm until 9pm. We arrived in the Lounge at 6.30 pm to have a predinner drink and there was no where to sit, all the snacks had been eaten and were not replenished, barely manged to get a glass of wine. Do NOT pay for the Club Lounge unless you plan to be there at the opening!!

The location was excellent and the hotel spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a very high standard and the staff coped exceptionally well with a significant amount of people. My wife is coeliac and the staff were exceptional in attending to her needs, bringing an entirely separately prepared breakfast for her. We are very grateful for their attention to detail.

I upgraded my room to Premium with access to the lounge area and looked forward to using the facilities. However upon arrival, we were informed that the premium lounge facilities were only available from 6.00pm until 9.00pm. As we were out at the theatre and having dinner during this time frame we were unable to take advantage of the advantages of the deal. Whilst I recognise this was our fault there was very little information provided to assist us in making a decision as to whether the upgrade would be in our interest.

All facilities were excellent, The Breakfast area was lovely, The restaurant was lovely, In fact all areas were lovely. The staff were excellent the hotel was in a perfect location and in itself the hotel was very very good. The bed was lovely, and the lay out of the room was great.

The room we had was not the best, Marks on the carpet the bathroom had an over bath shower which was terrible, to me anyway, The tap on the sink was that close to the sinktop that you ended up with water all over the top,The corners in the bathroom were full of grime and the grouting was beginning to mould, The bathroom was laid out lovely the decor was nice , Just not very well thought through, Cleaner bathroom grout sorted shower sorted sink tap sorted,These are minor problems which could be rectified in a day.

Location was superb. On the river and a short walk to the Shakespeare attractions. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Plenty of options although if you get there after 9am some options run out and are not replenished. The outside terrace overlooking the river was excellent.

The swimming pool was small and children were jumping and diving in. Parents didn't stop them! and neither did the hotel staff. Children in the sauna also. Would have liked a spinner to wring out swimming costume as no heated towel rail in our bathroom. Only used pool and steam/sauna once as chemicals irritated my eyes making them red and sore. The water pressure for the shower on our room was a bit pathetic.

Location just a short walk into Stratford centre. Plenty of parking. Room nicely furnished with comfy bed, and plumbing that worked well. Fridge and safe in room. Lifts to all floors. TV OK but limited channels, internet worked well. albeit unsafe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant was good, plenty of choice. Breakfast was exceptionally good. The garden area leads down to the river and is a delightful setting. Aircon worked reasonably well. Cost not too bad.

The tables in the lounge seating area were a bit sticky, possibly the cleaning product used. Fire alarm went off at 1.00am an unpleasant experience, which upset one night's sleep. However, management were very professional carrying out the correct procedures. Even a letter of apology from the manager was slid under to door in the morning. Otherwise all was OK.

Great location, staff, clean and spacious accommodation and facilities. Easy access to town centre and convenient parking. The iced peach tea at reception was most welcome when coming in from a hot day.

The pool was smaller than expected, the steam sauna were fine with a good cold shower adjacent to the doors. The hot tub had a very strong smell of water treatment chemicals, this might have been bad timing though. The breakfast had a great selection of food but suggest cooking meat in smaller batches and replenishing more frequently. The bacon sausage and black pudding seemed like it had been out too long and had dried out/become hard under the heat lamps. We came down to eat about 9:45 Shame because the sausages seemed of a good quality. The tomatoes and mushrooms and fried potatoes were well cooked and seasoned.

Excellent location for the town and amenities. Lovely terrace to sit and have a drink. Staff very courteous. It was spotlessly clean and all in all a supberb hotel. The nearest pub was just 5 mins away and had lovely food and good ambience - all within walking distance,,

We were in room 2007 and it was a long walk from the lift! Around 200 paces!! Did not bother us but it might for less able people, The lifts were extremely efficient and came quickly though.

Bed was very large. Room was nice and spacious. Location was ideal, very close to centre of city. Rooms were nice and quiet. Staff were friendly and had umbrellas on hand for a rainy day.

We were surprised that for the very large hotel, that only one espresso machine that was working. There were other machines there, but weren't on. A bit of of a line-up to make your coffee. We arrived 20 minutes early for the restaurant that opened at six pm. Staff, which included the host told us they were still setting up tables. When we returned at 6:10 pm, the same staff member told us that reservations were needed and that the earliest available slot was 8:30 pm! Why did the host or the receptionist at check-in not advise us that reservations were required??
