The room was lovely, very spacious and the huge bed very comfy. The whole hotel had a relaxed and chilled feel. The staff were very helpful and the communication beforehand was excellent, we even got a free room upgrade, bottle of wine and chocolates. Breakfast was excellent and set in a lovely area, spacious with views of the garden and terrace which would be lovely to use in warmer times. We had an evening meal in the bar, the staff were excellent and the food very good with good portions (typical hotel prices). The gym and pool area was much better than expected. The staff were very helpful and a decent range of equipment. The spa type heated loungers in the pool area were a bonus! Although the hotel is fairly close to a major road (so easy for getting to places quickly) there was absolutely no noise and the location and substantial grounds with the river at the bottom were very peaceful. The hotel has a modern feel (wide corridors) but chilled and comfortable, though the lounge and bar area was a mix of old fashioned and modern (with views of the gardens) and is a lovely area to chill or work! Go to the gym and pool when it's not open to kids if you want an extremely chilled time, we often had the place to ourselves.

Although the spa/gym was very decent and the staff lovely, it would have been nice to have a sauna as well because the steam room was very hot. The pool was lovely but again a jacuzzi would have topped it off. The gym was reasonable well stocked with equipment though a little cramped for space which is not uncommon for small/medium sized spa/gyms like this but more than adequate. Apart from these very minor points the hotel was more or less perfect for us (a couple on their wedding anniversary weekend away). :-)

Staff are all extremely pleasant and helpful. They say they will do something...they do it. Very very rare nowadays. I have stayed here several times and alwats consistently good. Breakfast is excellent... Bar and Restaurant menus varied.

In common with EVERY hotel i've ever stayed at... those damn 'conveyor toasters' are never right and a pain (not to mention a waste of electricity lol) you either get charcoal or 'hot stale bread'......be better with a couple of 'pop up' toasters. .... but if that is the only moan an old bloke can make they are doing very well ...

The bed was very comfortable. The booking was for 4 families with small children. We stayed at the end of the hallway and close to each other, which is a great idea. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The children took part of their Easter trail and had a prize after solving it. The room we had was facing a huge greenery and the kids saw bunnies outside in the morning. We also had fun in the pool.

The drain in our tub is broken. The valve couldn't not fully open therefore the tub did not drain well after showering. But I wasn't too bothered because we had a shower in the changing room when we used the pool.

Was very inviting, some of the staff were friendly. Good facilities

When we arrived we were charged £50.00 for our dog to stay, £25 per night. We’ve never ever paid that amount. There were no facilities for her, no bowls, towels to dry her, we had to look for the bins to dispose of her waste. We have stayed in numerous hotels and the above have been provided. The most we have paid is £10 per night. I messaged the hotel to say we were bringing her, yet we had no message to say how much or even a confirmation about her stay. Very disappointed and put a damper on our stay. Some members of staff were not accommodating and could hardly say hello! We will not be returning due to the amount charged for our little dog.

A fabulous stay! We went to visit Warwick castle and Stratford Upon Avon, and this hotel was a great location. We ate at the restaurant on our first night and the food was excellent. Nika, our waitress, was really lovely and helped us with everything. Recommend the oyster mushroom ragu! The swimming pool was nice, although I recommend checking when the children’s swim classes are before heading down if you want the full pool. My partner also absolutely loved the breakfast as well. Room was comfy and never heard a neighbour. A really lovely weekend spot.

Such friendly staff thoughout hotel. Pool and spa were great. Had a lovely spa treatment and felt wonderful after. Pool area is always kept clean. Bedrooms are very comfy with ironing board and iron, tea and coffee area. Plenty of hanger in the open cloths area. Breakfast have vast amounts of verity. Something for everyones taste. Breakfast room tends to get busy around 9am. All in all we had a great break at the chesford grange. This was our third visit and will return. My only negitive is that wheelchair users have to take the long path around the building to get to the back garden area. No access to the raised decking area and seats.

The lack of disabled access.

Room was clean, quiet (as requested), and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. I stayed for one night. I arrived in the evening but the entrance was not very well-lit and I entered through the fire exit and was unable to find any signs to reception. The receptionist did not inform me of the breakfast times or whereabouts of the breakfast room but the breakfast included in my booking was excellent. My only real complaint was that I would have liked to open the window in my room. The window was locked shut although it was clearly fitted with a limiter.

Very nice hotel in pretty grounds. Good gym and a small indoor pool. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Downstairs areas very nice - bar, and lounges. Helpful staff. Good quality bar food. Breakfast was included which was a bonus and food options were many and good quality. Nice dining room. On site free parking. Great location for getting to Kenilworth and surrounds.

Pillows were all fat and synthetic (no feather pillow options) so were not malleable and I slept less well than usual. Corridor had had a leak and smelt musty - housekeeping were trying to dry it out with dehumidifiers.

Staff were really lovely and very accomodating. The restaurant space was clean and the food was really good. Having had many hotel breakfasts would definately say this one was up there. Similarly for dinner nice choice and really nice quality

Only small niggle the changing room for the swiming pool needs a bit of configuring. There was noowhere to stand away from a wet floor. Nowhere to put your own shower stuff or hang a towel if like me you like to take off your costume in the shower then wrap a towel round. Only small but we all moaned about it in the changing room so worth a mention. The pool was small but perfectly formed.

We took our small dog with us so it's always a concern what kind of access we will have to outdoor space and we could not have been happier. Great size room with a door straight out on to the lawn and a lovely walk through the trees just beyond. We also have an electric car and the charging points actually worked! It would be better if they had a few more but maybe one they will. Excellent breakfast provided with lots of choice but it does get busy around 9am, we had great weather so sitting outside with the dog wasn't a problem. Not sure where we would sit if it was raining though?

Lighting in the room wasn't brilliant and climbing in and out of the bath was tricky (i'm getting old).
