Nice size, comfy rooms and hotel was in a lovely quiet location, easy to get to by car with plenty of free on site parking. Pool was a nice size and not too busy. Kids under 5 eating free was great and bar food we had was very nice. All staff we spoke to were very pleasant, friendly, helpful and professional. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to the hotel.

The fridge in our room wasn't working. The staff brought an ice bucket to compensate as there were no maintenance people available to sort it which was OK but obviously would have preferred a working fridge. This really is only a minor complaint though, which staff did try to resolve for us and didn't by any means spoil our enjoyment of the hotel.

The staff are very friendly and the place itself is great to relax in. Having experience of hotels ,this one appeals to me more than most. The location is a big plus. Not far from Kenilworth or Leamington Spa, it feels as if you are way out , deep in the countryside. The building itself has had improvements but retains an old-world charm, yet the hotel has the technical modernity that is now expected . I know there are Spa hotels that have facilities for lots more people to lounge around in face masks and fluffy designer dressing gowns, but I like what is provided at Chesford Grange. My shoulders and neck were released from their stressful bondage of knotted muscle and contracted connective tissue, but after only one massage session arranged in the Spa/ Leisure area which is in the process of being upgraded ! It has been a stressful last 3 years for me ,so it was lovely to find a hotel that ticked all my boxes . I even found out there's a steam room, which is perfect for a detox. So I have decided to stay an extra day and night as an investment in my own health and well-being.

Good location between Coventry and Warwick. Excellent staff who are friendly and helpful. Very good restaurant which is efficiently run and serves delicious food for both breakfast and dinner. Good size room with very comfortable bed.

The air conditioning was not working in our part of the hotel and, as the weather was hot, the room was stifling. The staff kindly provided two fans but they just pushed hot air around which made it difficult to sleep. Seeing other reviews making similar comments from over a month ago, this is clearly an on-going problem. The bathroom was looking tired with cracked tiles and leaking shower screen. The spa changing room floor was filthy.

Great room. Lots of space. Very comfortable bed and linen. Shower great. As we had brought our dog with us we were given a ground floor room with doors opening onto the grounds. Could not have been any more perfect. Lovely walk straight from our door. Staff very friendly and professional. The hotel is impressive.

We ate in the bar and the food was an expensive for what was given. We both had a burger. Mine was the mushroom burger which consisted of one large mushroom and a blob of cheese. It would have been quite tasty had it not been covered in an onion marmalade. The same applied to the meat burger definitely not value for the money. Unfortunately we felt the same way about the breakfast. Although the choice was very good.

A good hotel and perfect for what we wanted. Bedrooms are well appointed and to a good standard, I'd made a couple of requests when booking and they were met which was good. Food was good too, good selection at breakfast and for people who have dietary needs lots of options without have to ask for them which made a nice change.

The room was very warm even with the air on its lowest setting, the windows only tilt open which I understand for safety reasons but then when you close the curtains as they as so thick no air gets through. It's a big climb into the bath for the shower and whilst there are handles I do wonder how some people who are less mobile might manage this.

The room was really big for a family of 4 - plenty of room for all of us. We really enjoyed using the pool and the gym. The gym was very well equipped. The pool was small but fine when you went outside busy times. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant.

There were quite a few dogs around which I'm not that keen on and some loud dog walkers outside our room early on Sunday but I appreciate other people would see that as a bonus. The breakfast was great, all apart from the coffee but that's not a deal breaker!

Lovely venue, easy to find by car, and all the staff we encountered were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We stayed for two nights, which included an excellent buffet breakfast. Our room was very comfortable and spacious (booked as a "Classic Twin Room") with tea/coffee/biscuits available and all toiletries that you'd need in the bathroom. It was nice to have an iron and full size ironing board in the room too. We felt some hotel information in the room would be helpful, especially a bar menu, which would have been handy. We had an evening meal on Saturday night in the bar area. Limited choice, but the food we ordered was very good indeed - expect to pay hotel prices for food and drinks! Some reviews talk about the noise levels in the hotel. There was a wedding party at the hotel on the Saturday evening which made the bar area understandably louder than normal, but once we were in our room, we didn't really hear a thing. The grounds from the bar area were lovely, with seating outside and we discovered a nature trail accessible from the main car park which was very beautiful at this time of year with bluebells and bird song. Nice to have an 11 o'clock checkout so we could have a little lie-in. Thank you for a lovely stay Chesford.

Bar drinks were especially pricey, but I guess this is to be expected for a hotel.

Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful in every area of the hotel. Loved that there are family rooms with 2 double beds - it made staying away with 2 children a lot easier. Swimming pool was a nice extra and was warm. Loved that there were bits to keep the kids entertained outside when eating our dinner at the bar restaurant. Location is great, just outside of Warwick. EV charger was also very handy!

Changing facilities for swimming pool were a bit grubby and small / in need of an update. The toiletries provided could have been better - shampoo and conditioner weren't very good, but still nice to have.

Room was huge. Bed was comfortable and large. Room was clean. Check in efficient. Good range of drinks provided. Good mirrors and lighting which are amenities surprisingly hard to come by in hotels.

The bath/shower had a large lip, for my husband who has limited mobility (but can manage a normal bath lip), it meant that he was unable to have a shower for fear of falling in as he is unable to lift his leg over the distance required. It would be good to have been notified of this limitation when booking otherwise I would have booked a fully accessible room. Rooms were not at all sound proofed and the doors closed with a very loud clunk. There was a large group with children who stayed around us and they woke us up crashing (and the children screaming and running up and down the corridor) at 6.30am.

The room was lovely, very spacious and the huge bed very comfy. The whole hotel had a relaxed and chilled feel. The staff were very helpful and the communication beforehand was excellent, we even got a free room upgrade, bottle of wine and chocolates. Breakfast was excellent and set in a lovely area, spacious with views of the garden and terrace which would be lovely to use in warmer times. We had an evening meal in the bar, the staff were excellent and the food very good with good portions (typical hotel prices). The gym and pool area was much better than expected. The staff were very helpful and a decent range of equipment. The spa type heated loungers in the pool area were a bonus! Although the hotel is fairly close to a major road (so easy for getting to places quickly) there was absolutely no noise and the location and substantial grounds with the river at the bottom were very peaceful. The hotel has a modern feel (wide corridors) but chilled and comfortable, though the lounge and bar area was a mix of old fashioned and modern (with views of the gardens) and is a lovely area to chill or work! Go to the gym and pool when it's not open to kids if you want an extremely chilled time, we often had the place to ourselves.

Although the spa/gym was very decent and the staff lovely, it would have been nice to have a sauna as well because the steam room was very hot. The pool was lovely but again a jacuzzi would have topped it off. The gym was reasonable well stocked with equipment though a little cramped for space which is not uncommon for small/medium sized spa/gyms like this but more than adequate. Apart from these very minor points the hotel was more or less perfect for us (a couple on their wedding anniversary weekend away). :-)
